One would expect to have a good experience with a new home, but we've had a nightmare with Pulte. Our house post-tension slab had large holes (24"x10" broken completely through do to mis-laying out plumbing and not refilled with concrete under tub and shower, floor baseboards were mismatched with different two sizes and styles, the doors were not prepped before painting and have edges sharp enough to draw blood, we've had 100+ broken roof tiles replaced, several water leaks in stucco and shower, the upgraded insulated garage door is not installed with no refund, painting around windows has ...

Our experience up until about 3 weeks prior to close was great -- sales team and build teams were responsive, Very happy with our lot and our home. The last three weeks before close and for a couple of months beyond has been very rushed and there were a number of things that weren't taken care of that should have been. Things have taken a lot longer than they should have to get taken care of. And mistakes were made because builder trades were rushing and trying to finish homes too quickly. Poor quality of backyard landscaping. I paid extra for backyard landscaping. Plants are very small and the 2 trees appear to be dead when planted. landscaping very disappointing. However, the dwelling construction is good.

The contractor site managers and other personnel have been knowledgeable, polite and considerate. I have had minor problems with the dwelling but so far these issues have been resolved except for items deleted or on backorder. I purchased the backyard landscaping from contractor. I am disappointed with the results and would not recommend this option purchase. However, homeowners who are installing their own backyards and pools lack consideration of the near neighbors. Overall my experience has been marginally positive.

The contract called for an insulated garage door, now they say they cannot deliver it and offered a $500 credit. No way you can buy a door for that price! What an insult!

Despite the beautiful location, be prepared to deal with lack of transparency and “bait and switch” pricing; base price (shell); lot size, location, and pricey upgrades (ceiling lighting; wall outlets; “finger pointing” regarding shoddy construction, poor quality, or defective doors, and high-end appliances. Challenges in reaching Customer Service, and lack of response. Be your own Advocate!

Quality of concrete work is the worst I Have seen. Sloppy, Hasty, Unprofessional, Cheep Quality work. Paint, sheetrock, caulk and finish carpentry sloppy and unprofessional, especially at the bottom of walls

Buyer be ware!!!! What you see is not what your get!!! Sloppy workmanship, the builder masks issues like the electrical outlets, they make the holes for the electrical plates and when they put the plates on, they spray to cover the excess holes. However once you go to paint and take off the plates, u have exposed holes. Glass shower door has crack, MBR side of door has hole that was patched up. Sliding doors don’t lock properly. Customer service is slow to respond. And when they handle the matter one is stuck having to wait for the different vendors to come out and fix the problem. Example ...

I love the design of these homes, my neighbors and sense of community. There was no attention to detail towards quality of workmanship during the final month and I am still waiting for about ten trades to finish. I am still missing screens, parts of walls and ceilings were not painted, front door still needs repair, while some work has been done much remains.

They deliver our home in time. Products of our home are exceptional. Sales agent should be upfront and aware of the capacity of Solar system. Choices of elevation should be discussed in detail ahead of time, even before signing up the lot.

The little details of finishing the home were left unfinished. I watched my home being built, was here almost every day. Some little things I pointed out that needed to be fixed or replaced, were not fixed and still aren't fixed.

Overall we’re happy with our home. There were several bumps along the way. But basically you’re buying a tract home. The buying process felt like a game to increase your cost. Between bidding for your home against “ phantom other buyers “ and the upgrades you need if you want the house to be even close to what the model looked like really drives the price up. We liked the people we worked with but I would do the buying differently next time.

Moved into no heat or hot water after a 20 hour move on a cold winter night. Kitchen island was wrong color as if I wouldn’t notice. Many other problems. The HOA treats me like an enemy. Nasty and condescending. The guards at the gate are horrible to me and my friends. I have buyers remorse. Overall a very bad experience. So far the dream home is a nightmare.
