Beautiful home, wonderful quite surroundings. Be mindful of the fact that if you don’t upgrade certain features, e.g., the paint, the product will not be top shelf. Plan on spending as much as 15-20% above the purchase price for various upgrades. Still a great value though. I wish we had been given a warning about the fact that our mail service would not commence until some arbitrary date, i.e., when the HOA decides to give the Post Office the go ahead. We had to find this out the hard way. There is construction going on by us, not that much, but it should not impede mail delivery. Overall we are satisfied with our new home. The sales office personnel were great, keeping us informed throughout the building process and helping with the financing options. The construction crews were also great. Perhaps the area of design upgrades could be improved. Home buyers may not think of everything and it would be nice if the designer helped identify potential issues. We upgraded kitchen door knobs and fixtures which we understood carried into the baths. The baths do have the same upgraded knobs, but the fixtures did not change. Now our baths have three different types of hardware: upgraded knobs, brushed nickel door handles, and polished chrome sink and shower fixtures. We also asked for a floor outlet to be put in the gathering room, perhaps for plugging in a lamp near the sofa. We started with some bad experiences in sales. When that changed we seem to have missed a lot of info. There was alate start on our home and that has caused some problems, but overall we are well pleased.

The actual builder was great. Some of the materials are substandard - was @ bit surprised.

I am curious as to why the model home of the Refuge, which I chose, has two lights built into the ceiling of the second bedroom and I have none. The overall quality of the home is quite good and I’m very happy to be living here.

We bought a home that had fallen out of escrow and the sales team had us convinced the sale price was reduced twice and we were getting a great deal. The appraisal came in $10K below the selling price so I asked three times for a price adjustment. Each time the response was they would need to run it by the manager, but no one ever gave us an answer to our request. Otherwise the sale went smoothly. The sales staff is knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Everyone has been attentive after the sale and they are very good about warranty repairs and follow-up. If you order the standard Whirlpool dishwasher, expect your contents to be only partially dry, even with the high temp dry and a rinse aid. A whirlpool technician sent to correct the problem attributes it to plastic materials instead of steel. They can't achieve a complete dry.

Some obvious errors missed by managers before we moved in. Also, the Design of MB water closet is a JOKE!

Extremely nice quality and very professional construction process and crew. Not over impressed with the HOA. They are not pro homeowner and a bit rude. Overall I am happy with the quality of the home.

House is nice. Only negative is price of upgrades

The process overall was good. We had a good sales person and good staff at the design center. One thought I had that I would advise new buyers is to consider what the landscaping package includes. This is the biggest after market expense. If we had purchased the package it would have had a nominal impact on our monthly payment and we could have supplemented after market. Just my thoughts.

Quality house with usual response to issues.

Communications with the solar vendor is lacking. Closed escrow 2 months ago and have received no feedback as to what the delay is. The "upgraded" kitchen cabinets are a disappointment. Love all the open space and walking paths. Club house looks like it is going to be outstanding.

Was an excellent experience while house was being built. Chad our supervisor was excellent. The workers seemed to take care of any and all things. I do have an issue with the landscape people. Once they put in a very sparse space and problems came up they ignored all my needs to fix the items that had problems. I had to pay someone outside to take care of the problems. Lastly - The response on fixing things after we owned the house is less then adequate.

start your process early

We got a lot for what we paid. It is value priced for retirement. Good enough to last and affordable enough to enjoy and not over stretch our budget. The options were fantastic, although pricey. If you are on a tight budget, the basic package is just fine!

Escrow only closed about six weeks ago so my experience is new and minimal, but positive.

A very nice house in a nice community. Looking forward to the Del Webb lifestyle.

I recently moved into my second home in the Rancho Mirage community. Why - you ask? Because the lot I originally wanted had not been released. When the lot was available, eight months after my first purchase, I decided to take a chance and put my original home up for sale. The home sold immediately. I am now enjoying a view of the mountains in my (second) new home in the same community. LOVE IT! Love it!

Do not accept last minute walk thru. Check solar system carefully ours was incorrectly installed.

The quality of the stucco finish on my house is really poor. Everything else is acceptable.

Support staff is fantastic.

Having to drive 2 hours to the design center was a problem, especially for an over 55 community.
