We are pleased with our experience with the staff at Del Webb Oak Creek. This is our second experience with buying and building a home via Del Webb and its builder, Pulte Construction. The process to buy a lot, customize the home and build is challenging enough but the sales person was great at communicating from beginning to closing.

We built in Tidewater, Estero, Florida. Great experience with the Pulte staff. The product is excellent.

if you deal with the right people from the company, all goes well. Check with residents and friends also who may be familiar.

The construction process was very good manager kept me informed weekly and made time to meet with me every time I was in town. The design segment we felt rushed and you can’t make any changes after that appointment.

Our sales rep always wanted to be helpful and was always pleasant. Unfortunately, we sometimes wondered about her level of familiarity with the product. At the front end, we had to ask LOTS of questions and we would have preferred to have all options presented to us. Had that occurred, we might have purchased additional items; this is especially relevant to the pool - no one was available at the time we had to make pool decision to provide all options. (We were told a pool rep would be present and that do not happen.) Also, a two-hour design appointment is inadequate - we would have liked to visit the showroom n our own multiple times to consider all options and then come to design appointment better prepared. Patrick was exceptional. Highly knowledgable, always helpful, a stickler for high quality and always on top of things. Unrelated to above, we were highly aggravated by the lack of flexibility provided by the company for a closing date - rather than provide some reasonable options that all could agree to, we were dictated a single date. Neither our sales rep nor the construction supervisor are delegated any authority to work with the customer. A very big negative. As a general observation, the finishes on the home are mediocre. The wall finish is inconsistent throughout the house and even within a room; there are paint and other materials that were not adequately cleaned up and have yet to be addressed; and the finishes around electrical switches is sloppy. Also, since our closing, we have heard from NO ONE about the remaining items on our pre-closing punch list. That lack of responsiveness (and neglect) could infer that "closing" is more important than service. Any chance w might hear from someone? We were told everything would be done before our celebration. It was not.

Lousy job painting interior doors and trim and I don't like the potential fix. Overall quality of materials and workmanship was excellent.

While we believed build quality was good, two construction issues occurred after closing. However, Pulte was responsive with correcting them. It was just a big nuisance issue to have repair services coming afterwards to fix them. From sales side, it seemed that anything we asked for was a "no" to do. Pulte will NOT deviate from their spec. However, we found they offered others in community options we were not made aware of. Some people even brought in design ideas from other Pulte communities. We bought at end of build out, so it now seems the idea was to get them sold, built and out, without any special changes or offerings. ... More

Not impressed with Pulte at all

We had mostly a good experience with Pulte but they have finished out poorly. Getting the last issues resolved has been frustrating to say the least. No way to directly talk to someone, only sending in email requests that go unanswered. Our sales guy has been great!

We were told the amenity center would be completed by 1st quarter of 2024. Unfortunately, this isn’t accurate. The amenity center is a year away. Big disappointment. Also, the security gate still isn’t staffed by a guard at night. Why? Many homes are occupied, Pulte! Where is our security? The construction workers need to take more pride in their work. I understand, and have heard all of the stories about how the construction workers left after Hurricane Ian but the ones in the community now are stretched thin, they do work hard but need more quality control. Our construction manager was fantastic, and we realize his hands are tied in many things. Expect your house to be about 90% ready to move into at closing. There will be many little things that need to be corrected. Overall, we are pleased with the neighborhood and we have great neighbors! Pulte - the Del Webb concept is great. The house is good but would never use the mortgage company. Use another mortgage company and safe yourself a world of headache and frustration.

The home sale was quick and painless. The issue for me now is the after sale service. It appears now that my requests for service issues is going unanswered. During the sales process, we had an in person meeting with our Pulte/Del Webb. Who stated that they will be a contact if we would ever need an issue resolved again, that service is lacking and going unanswered

Poor quality finish on walls and cabinets, scratches on cabinets, told the were on order to replace, have not heard back. Walls poor finish with paint! Scheduled a meeting for warranty and took afternoon meeting and no one showed up or called saying they were delayed. Not happy!

I was very disappointed that my house was not ready as promised at closing and issues are ongoing 2 months post closing.

We have had electrical issues. Half the inside of the home the electric went out. The electricians diagnosed the problem. The roof is leaking and shorting out the electric. We have a call into the roofer and they will not come out till Thursday. We discovered the roof leak on Friday. I have a bucket in my kitchen catching the water. Called Pulte warranty and they do not answer their phone. You need to leave a message. When they finally called us back they hung up on us twice. We are not having a great a great experience. I find it unacceptable the roof is leaking and we have to waite at least 6 plus days for the roofer to come out. ... More

Sloppy workmanship. Disappointed in the quality of work that has been done. And a lack of attention given to repairs.

After much research we found a lot away from the noise of busy roads and the freeway. We paid a premium for the lot. Then Del Webb built the home on the lot next to ours and installed the neighbors noisy pool equipment 10 feet from where we sit on our lanai, wrecking all our efforts for a quiet space. Most of the response to our asking for resolution was insulting and Del Webb is unwilling to do anything meaningful to resolve the issue. They say it's our problem to resolve after they created the issue. We would not have purchased the lot/home if we had known, but now we're stuck with it as long as we own the property. Typical builder issues be prepared to accept less than what you are told and everything will be fine.

I would not do it again. Only do it if you’re only looking for a life style. At some point you will realize it’s not worth it.

From onset of signing contract and design selection several bate and switch from appliances to utility finished much cheaper product than showcased in the models. Even with upgrades, soft close cabinets were not installed throughout, crown molding purchased not installed throughout, appliances not elevated to the model showcase and excuse after excuse. Timeline for completion took nearly a year after being told likely ten months and actually wanted to push it to fourteen months until complete. Finish work on walls and ceiling look like an undisciplined child was set loose in the house and patchwork left large convex drywall sticking out of the walls. Floor was installed before work was finished and still waiting on 22 planks of flooring to be replaced. Light fixtures not squared and centered off each other still waiting to be repaired. Cabinets at bar not level and continued excuses about that fiasco. Warranty is a joke, dragging repair work submitted properly for over a month with no schedule, workers showing up without schedule and if scheduled show up late or not at all. Not to mention, no one picks up when the warranty number is called nor gets back to you after leaving messages. Emails are hit and miss. The work ethic is lacking greatly. The one consolation in all this, I have met and befriended several wonderful residence and happy to have settled in an upbeat welcoming community. Although my house is coming along and now call it home, I will never and I mean, NEVER, purchase another Pulte home or any of it subsidiaries. The broker in sales department was great.The financing and paper work was the worst I've ever experienced , I would never recommend anyone to use Putle finance department.

We have had an extremely unsatisfactory experience. Jose and john said these issues would be fixed during our closing walk through.. No identified issues have been resolved, despite emails and photographic evidence having been sent to both Jose and John.
