My salesman helped me during entire process. Especially especially since I did everything from purchase, decorating choices, and closing ande made it easy even though I was in California and Able to accomplish it all.

Our new home was beautifully and sturdily built in spite of the chaos in the labor and materials markets. The people of Del Webb Stone Creek were always forthright, respectful, cheerfully reassuring, and as it turns out--completely trustworthy. That was important to us because we were unable to supervise or even visit our project the entire time it was being built.

This is the second home I’ve bought in the community & the value and quality have been up to my expectations. I would highly recommend Del Webb communities.

Sales team is very good. Had no problems with purchase. HOWEVER, the house was not in closing condition. Its been 9 weeks and we are still waiting for punch list items to be completed. Half of our floors were damaged. Only half of those were replaced, second half is due to be replaced in December. Our bath tub needs to be resurfaced and cascading sliding doors will be replaced (too many scratches to fix) but we do not have a date when those will be done. In addition, the quality of the craftsmanship is very poor. Paint droppings on floors, fixtures, toilets, etc., bad cuts on molding, sloppy caulking. We have spent hours and hours fixing many of these things ourselves. It is not enjoyable living in a house with so much work to be done. It disrupts our lives having to be available for all the repairs and it takes away from the fun of buying new furniture and decorating etc. We just keep waiting and waiting for things to be complete, We have just begun the warranty process and the person we are dealing with is very organized and we believe all the warranty issues will be resolved in a timely manner unlike the punch list items that have taken far, far too long to resolve. Everyone has been courteous and we think they are doing their best. We don’t think the builder is giving them the resources to get the job done. Our house was not ready for closing. Now that we paid for the house shouldn’t we be on high priority to get the punch list items completed? We are very disappointed. ... More

Very good buying experience. Only took a little longer than originally planned

The workmanship was/is absolutely terrible. Sloppy work, damaged doors, windows, appliances, garage doors and the list was over 9 pages long. Paint on our floors, doors improperly hung, tile work the worst we have ever seen. Only bright spot was the head construction manager Andrew got involved and has been resolving our issues. But the inconvenience to my wife and I has ridiculous. Almost seven weeks from closing and having to endure continued foot traffic and cleaning up after repair crews.

We were promised a quality home "the Del Webb difference" and we did not get it. The bones of the house are hopefully quality but the finished product was crap. We had to touch up every wall, many cabinet faces need replacement, no screens on our windows for many months and still waiting. Every appliance has needed repair or replace and some not done yet. there has not been a single area where we didn't need some kind of repair. The problem is that pult has hired the worst possible trades to do the work. They either don't care or don''t know how to do the work conscientiously and have NO OVERSIGHT. Many in our new development will even allow they back in our homes because they either do a lousy job or they mess something else up while doing work. I have heard the word "class action lawsuit" from multiple people. I would not buy here again if I could go back in time. I will say that the consturction manager, our sales guy and the construction supervisor are great people...but pulte really dropped the ball in this development hiring sub-standard folks to do the work and not giving us the "quality" we were promised. Simply put, glad this experience is over.

Both our sales representative and project manager were very helpful and responsive with all of our questions and concerns. The home came out beautiful but did have several items that needed to be corrected after closing. All of which are being addressed with no hassle. Workmanship was very good and and finish was above average.

Over all the process was easy and professional! From sales… to design center… to construction… and closing. Would highly recommend Del Webb homes!

Thank you for a lovely house. It is strange that you supply us with paperwork urging us to use a ph neutral cleaner on our grout and floors BUT then we find that your final clean-up crew does not use these type of cleaners. Being on the same page would make sense ( at least to us ). AND the carelessness of your painters would have also helped. We eventually had to do the "final" floor cleaning ourselves ( with the proper cleaner ). We have nothing in writing BUT we were told that "eventually" we would have our window screens. It would be nice to air out the house, so I hope this is true ( eventually ).The absence of product brochures is annoying and more care should be given to make sure these are supplied. for every product supplied, We do feel that the overall quality of the home is apparent and we are happy with our purchase. ... Our salesperson (Allen) really worked with us to find the lot that met our expectations. He was always pleasant and easy to work with. Our project manager (Jacob) did an excellent job communicating with us throughout the building process. He kept us informed of the progress with pictures and any information he thought relevant. Since being in the home we've had to work with our warranty person (Debbie) on issues and she has been responsive however we have been disappointed with the length of time it took to resolve some of the issues i.e. a broken kitchen cabinet. We were told that it would take a week to replace it however it took over a month and a half. Also it was disappointing to have a roof leak that was not corrected on the first attempt and caused more damage to our ceiling when it leaked a second time. Our warranty manager has been very responsive and communicative to address issues. Overall we happy to be in our new home. ... More

The contract required to buy the home places NO responsibility to deliver the home on time, and without defects that good quality control could avoid. The developer is focused on securing new buyers, using contractors who too often do slip-shod work and are not help accountable. Getting unacceptable defects fixed are 50/50 at best; for example, we have a shower floor that leaves a large puddle at the back of the shower because the tile floor was not sloped correctly. When reported to the warranty department, the representative said, “Get a mop”. We paid thousands of dollars extra for the larger shower and the workmanship and response of the builder is unacceptable. We have a lower kitchen cabinet with pullouts that do not pull out. Still waiting for a response from the warranty department. We have “shutters” that do not fit the size of the window, preventing privacy at night and too much light in the mornings. This is the case with other windows in the house. They should be referenced as “shudders”. Our sales person was excellent, but once the house closes, you are an “old” customer, relegated to the “Warranty Department “ and no longer a “person of interest”. At this time, it is much easier to get new customers, but this country is changing, and hopefully the company may realize that their “old” customers are as important to Pulte’s health and reputation as the “new” customers are to their bank account. ... It seems Pulti home was rushing to hand over the house and finished their work with many issues. It's really a nightmare now to get hold of them and resolved the issues.

Quality build, great service and supports from agents, delivered as per schedule

We met with Matt and reported our warranty items, additionally we have discovered some other issues. Unfortunately Matt does not seem to want to follow up with any resolutions or even a call back. I have never experienced such disrespect from a warranty person as I have thus far.

Although we are pleased with our new home some of the comments expressed by other buyers with regards to the builder not following mandatory codes and specifically with regards to studs, Joist and rafters give me pause to confidence in structural integrity as we did not hire a licensed inspector during our walk through phases and final inspection. When I asked our superintendent if a licensed inspector was used during Pulte’s quality assurance inspection he stated no that they use their in-house capability. I am not saying that I do not have confidence in my home’s safety I am saying that the over quality of the structure gives me pause. I did not take exception to various paint spots on the vinyl flooring as Jacob took care of them and other minor nit noy items. I love my view and landscaping and overall layout of the home, the amenities incorporated in the community and location. ... More

Long but worth the wait in closing. Builder had numerous hurdles to finishing the build. There are still several minor issues which did not delay move in and are being addressed. We love our new home.

Overall going through the process with the the building manager assigned has been great. (Mateo) He was great in listening to me and responding accordingly. But now issues are surfacing. My driveway had to be completely removed due to someone driving on it before the concrete cured, But instead of putting pavers over the concrete, they completely demolished the concrete driveway severing the cable to my neighbors home and then had to reframe and repour new concrete. Completely uncalled for. Now my lawn is starting to die off, not from lack of water, but from something yet to be determined. Note, I've only been here for 5 weeks, and it's not looking very good at the moment. ... More

This was my first experience in new build. It took 10 months. The final “aha” walking in the door to see the end result was surreal. Looking forward to living in a new community.

From the beginning with our sales rep, Bruce, Nicki the interior designer who listened and suggested when we went a little astray to closing with Pulte Mortgage responsiveness was excellent. Our construction manager Steve was the person who made this a positive for us. With all the hurdles he faces daily with shortage of product and deadlines being met, he was great. When we went through our walk thru before closing there were so many things that needed to be done we were not optimistic. Steve assured us that everything would be done and it was. He continues to be available to us as the first week in our new home we had air conditioning issues which he handled immediately and recently a plumbing backup which he also assisted in getting resolved quickly. The beginning of our experience was great but our construction manager is the one who kept it all together and made this a win. Stone Creek is an amazing place and we look forward to many happy years here. ... More
