The walk thru went o.k. with the builder, some items where in need of replacement and/or repair and for the most part were done. Some items were not checked, (i.e. irrigation system) and it is NOT currently working properly. It was an Inventory Home, and we needed to move quickly, so we saw what we liked, but later found out that the house was not in a condition that needed to be. As an example, the PAINT workmanship needs a lot of improvement! Since the interior paint was already an upgrade, we had no option than to accept it. Good thing everything is painted trim work, they rely on caulking and paint to fill imperfections. Carpenters are fast track hacks, no sense of pride. Typical Pulte production, build out a development, blow out of town

I recently purchased a home in Stone Creek, Del Webb. Excited to be in a new home, I was there the week before closing to do my pre-closing walk-through. We marked up many many things that needed to be addressed and the site supervisor, Jeff, told me that I was very particular, and that I should be reminded I am buying a production home and not a custom home. I reminded him that while it is not a custom home it is my home. I went back a week later for my closing, which I had closed online prior to my final walk-through, and nothing had been addressed. WHEN I pointed out problems or work done poorly and/or not finished I was told wait till the end. I shouldnt have t wait till end with everything going on punch lists. Most, if not all, could have been corrected in May.

I asked regularly for workmen to take their time and do things right. I was obviously not listened to-rush rush. Incomplete, wrong, crooked etc etc etc

We have lived in other Dell Webb communities before and this house in Stone Creek seems to be better constructed. Issues with the home are taken care of much quicker before the purchase than after.

Dell Webb standards are excellent, but the quality of the workmanship is mostly subcontractor dependent. Our field manager was excellent and required many do-overs by subcontractors not meeting Pulte standards, but not everything could be identified and fixed.

The building experience was good considering we were 1100 miles away while it was being built. The Pulte mortgage experience was a complete disaster. We have found a lot of things wrong in the house since moving in.

Go through your house with a fine tooth comb during the pre closing inspection, because the quality of the fine finishes is not very good at all!

The initial drive into Stone Creek as well as the models and the staff all A+. The finished product comes in at a C for the following reasons. Attention to detail is lacking both inside and out. For example, on the interior we needed to sand and re-paint some window sills and caulk base board joints and crown molding shortly after moving in. Showing agent was pleasant and friendly. Information provided during our contact was confusing. Closing through the portal was brutal when only accessible via a cell phone. Del Webb has always been to be the ultimate home buyers experience. But, ours was disappointing ! Sales had to be tracked down every time we came in to see community and to have our needs met. We had to request another Sales Agent to assist us. Project manager meet appt for walk thru was good… But, Closing day walk thru punch list not completed!! Incredible community! Wonderful amenities, clubs and selection of homesites. Other Del Webb communities don’t compare. Sales people are accommodating and communicate well but sometimes not up to date with their pricing. Mateo, our site supervisor was fantastic through the entire process. Sadly, I believe that Pulte would do better to supervise their sub contractors rather than relying on warranty service to complete the homes. Overall going through the process with the the building manager assigned has been great. (Mateo) He was great in listening to me and responding accordingly. But now issues are surfacing. My driveway had to be completely removed due to someone driving on it before the concrete cured, But instead of putting pavers over the concrete, they completely demolished the concrete driveway severing the cable to my neighbors home and then had to reframe and repour new concrete. Although our home ended up as we hoped it would. Plute is hard to deal with. Salesperson was great, project manager was great, however with the amount of builds that are taking place every owner should hire a private home inspector throughout the build. They don’t quality check on every turn of the build and they don’t have the staff to do it with. We recently settled in our home and so far love the community. The house is nicely designed, but the finished product has a lot of defects. Still waiting to see how the Pulte team responds to the issues we have identified. We presented them with our 30 day list and should know in about a month what they will and won’t address. Our salesperson (Allen) really worked with us to find the lot that met our expectations. He was always pleasant and easy to work with. Our project manager (Jacob) did an excellent job communicating with us throughout the building process. He kept us informed of the progress with pictures and any information he thought relevant.
