5 day walk through with construction mgr prior to closing was a joke. We pointed out several things to be corrected that were not by time we closed. This is a big waste of time let alone $ having to spend in hotel til we closed. 6 weeks later still waiting for some of the things to be done. Different tradesmen were no shows more than once, Frustrating . It was a challenge with some not speaking English when coming to make repairs. This is not my first new build . Purchasing a home should be fun and memorable. Unfortunately, not the case. Most of the key Pulte people are nice and actually attempt to make every effort to satisfy you, until you close. Once you close, then the smiles disappear and your left with unfinished work. Warranties that have no time limit on being fixed or repaired., since they already got you. If the sub contractors were supervised than they might not have so many problems afterwards, but they are left alone to do as they want, and no one cares. The contract required to buy the home places NO responsibility to deliver the home on time, and without defects that good quality control could avoid. The developer is focused on securing new buyers, using contractors who too often do slip-shod work and are not help accountable. Getting unacceptable defects fixed are 50/50 at best; for example, we have a shower floor that leaves a large puddle at the back of the shower because the tile floor was not sloped correctly. It seems Pulti home was rushing to hand over the house and finished their work with many issues. It's really a nightmare now to get hold of them and resolved the issues.

This is the 4th Pulte home I've lived in. We went with Pulte because we've always had pretty good luck with this builder. Sadly I haven't had a good experience with this home. Everything was behind schedule by months costing us a lot of additional money. The workmanship was shoddy. I'm still finding glue and paint spots on the floor, cabinet mitered corners are an eye-sore, it's hard to get hot water in the kitchen, the cabinets were full of sawdust when I moved in, the edges of some of my doors are chewed-up, just to name a few issues. Our salesman Allen, was very knowledgable and helpful and made the buying experience a pleasure. Once we moved to the construction phase, the problems began. Poor quality and workmanship was very evident from the beginning of the build. After closing, it's hard to get Del Webb to repair items. You should be excited and happy to move in to your new home but with Del Webb it's more of compromising and settling.

We are still waiting on matching windows. We are waiting on screens. Some windows have 6 pane grids, some have 4, some have none. Don't match, upper and lower. We do not see variety grids on other homes. Don't know why HOA/ Architectural Review Committee allows errors as such when they are sticklers on remodel application. Sloppy work. Communication throughout the process has been poor. Slow responses on all levels. While the house is visually beautiful from the street, the interior of the home is poorly done. There appears to be no pride in the craftsmanship of my home. Poor paint, poor fit and finish, bad doors and the list will continue. They are starting to do some warranty work, but the repairs have been slow.

I cannot get questions answered by the subs Del Webb lists, with their phone #'s. Furthermore after questioning the quality of a two level upgrade on the granite(the granite had an obvious flaw) we were called by a supervisor. I really got good customer service before close of escrow but find Pulte really lacking in service after close. I lived in a Del Webb in California some years ago and found them to be much more customer friendly. I suppose I will get used to this but is disappointing.

We were promised a quality home "the Del Webb difference" and we did not get it. The bones of the house are hopefully quality but the finished product was crap. We have had nothing but problems since moving in. You can see daylight through the garage door and that is an "acceptable" margin of error. This attitude is totally unacceptable! Our sales person seemed to lose interest once we signed the contract and was non-existent through the close. Sales person has yet to congratulate us on the new home. Low scores to sales. Pulte mortgage was impossible to deal with and dropped the ball several times to the point I used another lender and lost $8K from Pulte, but it was worth it. The bright shinning star was our construction project manager who was great to work with, communicative and very detail oriented.

Beware...... First water bill for new home buyers to Stone Creek!!! Turn your irrigation system back!!!!!!

Stone Creek used 116,000 gallons of water on our sod prior to ours closing. After our closing we had inadvertently and quite accidentally and mistakenly used 92,000 gallons of water on our new sod. Isn’t that an excessive amount of water and a waste?????
