This is the second home we built with Pulte. This hone is for our daughter who has special needs. Our sales rep helped us thru the changes like pocket doors and wider Doorways. The changes were very affordable. Our management coordinator went Above and beyond to make sure all issues were taken care of.

Imagine buying an home and physically not seeing it until final week before closing, only pictures from base to completion with bi-weekly updates and depending trusting agent, designer and project manager. Delwebb Pulte did it great, pictures helped, but the WOW being there in person makes trusting people involved great. Also completion was on scheduled as promised.

Very smooth process with sales and construction. You need to have an idea of what you want when you get to the design center. They don't have a real designer who can help coordinate - more of an order taker. Overall end product was great except for a few minor glitches that were corrected quickly.

We love this home. It’s quaint and in a lovely community.

The Sales staff and Field Manager we had were wonderful. The quality of materials are top notch. The craftsmanship and attention to detail could have been better although I rated above average. For the few issues I experienced, the response time lacked effort. Overall, very pleased. Highly recommend.

Jacob was the project manager. He was very attentive to our needs. Very thorough and timely with communication. We’re glad he was our project manager

Project Manager was on-top of everything and provided weekly updates with pictures. Access to the "build web site" is especially helpful in keeping updated on the progress of the build.

Good experience, few problems.

This is the second Del Webb community that we have lived in and feel we will enjoy this one as much as the first.

The only issue we have currently is our laminate floors. Nevertheless, when we notified the warranty dept, they responded immediately for an appointment this week to discuss. Value is excellent especially given the size of the comes and fewer more "Up-grades" to hike the price. So many things are included in the basic price you have money left to "splurge" on a few of them! All of the people we have worked with since last September have my excellent rating for their trustworthiness from our salesperson to our field manager. Responsiveness to issues is a problem right now due to Covid-19 and workers are not allowed in your homes except for emergencies. We do have a few small ones which were on our "punch list" but didn't have time to get it taken care of before the shutdown. Home was completed on time, quality construction, very few items on our punch list and the ones we had were resolved quickly. Very pleased with our builder and Del Webb overall!

We had talented, professional folks helping us through the entire build process from sales to design to build to closing. Fantastic support that really made the difference. The home turned out better than we imagined.

Production home, don't expect perfection.

The people we dealt with at Del Webb (Pulte Homes)were fantastic, from Darren the sales person, Nikki in the design studio, John our Field Manager, to the girls at Pulte Mortgage. I give each and everyone of them 5 stars. I love our home, but I believe they do not have enough workers to complete the homes within the time frame and do a quality job. Our sod has been our biggest complaint even before we moved in, but Pulte refuses to do anything about it. Many others in the neighborhood have the same complaint. We have some patches where the sod is nice and green, the rest looks yellow and half dead. It is our responsibility to pay for someone to treat the lawn and pay to water it in order to see if we can make it look decent in 12 to 18 months. Some people have spent 3 to 6 months fighting to get some areas replaced or have replaced it at their own expense. The driveway... Problems, but we had an outside source do epoxy, and they fixed the driveway problem for us. The paint job is sloppy, lots that should have been cleaned up, scraped off, cleaned off the carpet and floors, drizzles all over, and not quality work, because they have to hurry to move onto the next job. Bottom line, need to hire more workers to assure quality workmanship and still meet the deadline they are promising the buyers. On the surface, or home looks great, and we do love it. But I wouldn't call it "quality" work vs what we paid for the house. Suggestion would be to meet with some of the new owners and determine what they feel could be done to make their home better and help Del Webb in improving the homes. ... More

Dawnyle was amazing and listened to us. However our warrantee team just kept giving us excuses for the poor workmanship.

We love our new home and especially the location having past experience with building construction I have been very disappointed in the quality of workmanship and the number of callbacks to correct things that should’ve been done to start with

Sales team is very good. Had no problems with purchase. HOWEVER, the house was not in closing condition. Its been 9 weeks and we are still waiting for punch list items to be completed. Half of our floors were damaged. Only half of those were replaced, second half is due to be replaced in December. Our bath tub needs to be resurfaced and cascading sliding doors will be replaced (too many scratches to fix) but we do not have a date when those will be done. In addition, the quality of the craftsmanship is very poor. Paint droppings on floors, fixtures, toilets, etc., bad cuts on molding, sloppy caulking. We have spent hours and hours fixing many of these things ourselves. It is not enjoyable living in a house with so much work to be done. It disrupts our lives having to be available for all the repairs and it takes away from the fun of buying new furniture and decorating etc. We just keep waiting and waiting for things to be complete, We have just begun the warranty process and the person we are dealing with is very organized and we believe all the warranty issues will be resolved in a timely manner unlike the punch list items that have taken far, far too long to resolve. Everyone has been courteous and we think they are doing their best. We don’t think the builder is giving them the resources to get the job done. Our house was not ready for closing. Now that we paid for the house shouldn’t we be on high priority to get the punch list items completed? We are very disappointed. ... More

Beginning with the positive: the onsite construction/project manager Dawnyel was outstanding! She went above my expectations repeatedly and was the one person in the Del Webb-Pulte experience, other than my realtor who was listening to me and anticipating my needs. There’s been a few minor problems with the purchase: lawn problems with drainage and initial set up of sprinklers, but she’s been aware and responsive to my concerns. Made a great recommendation/advice to get my tile grout sealed, which will be a huge benefit when I start living there. She listened respectfully when I was rushed with the closing process, and I needed to be heard. She and Deborah from the Title company understood my issue. The home itself is lovely. I’ve not been able to move in yet, as life has kept me in California longer than anticipated; however, I was never going to be a quick move in. The negative: my Pulte’s sales person, Brian, was terrific in working with me to select and buy the home. I was a cash purchase. I gave my deposit and signed the agreement and was told escrow would be 30-40 days. I was flying back to California on a Saturday. The day prior I asked if I needed to stay for anything. Brian said no that closing would take awhile. Two days home and I get a call that the house was closing in 7 days and house inspection would have to be done and a lot of paperwork and I was told by a woman, Nickie??? - I forget now that 3 days after closing all electricity and water would be turned off and I would need to set up those accounts. When I stated to Brian that I needed more time, he dismissed that saying they could close immediately as per contract. I panicked, having nightmares that I couldn’t get it all done. If I didn’t get water, all the Lanscaping would die, though the sprinklers and drainage is wrong and that’s happening anyway. If I didn’t get electricity in time, my house would be destroyed by costly black mold as the a/c wouldn’t be on. I needed to find insurance and Brian said I didn’t need to worry about that and that the house would be fine for a time without insurance. I explained that I had lost my home to fire during renovations and it was uninsured because it was over a 100 years old and new wiring throughout the house hadn’t been finalized yet, so $250k in renovation costs lost and a gutting of my finances as my home in California was a planned investment. Brian didn’t budge. After a few days, realized that the contract I signed said 30-40 days escrow and I refused to allow myself to be railroaded and bullied just to meet Pulte’s monthly sales quota. My realtor and a local friend did the inspection for me. My friend received the keys. My prior property had all been inherited and this was finally a home I was buying and I never got the “welcome home” ceremony, I barely have been spoken to civilly by Pulte’s sales since I didn’t let the sale finalize in 7 days from my deposit. I’m glad I stood up for myself, but I shouldn’t have had to do so. Back to positive: my one truly positive impression of Pulte’s was and is Dawnyel. She made me feel like she truly cared about me being happy in my home. I held off doing this survey as I was so upset still when I got this that I didn’t trust my ability to be civil. Over all we have been very pleased with the build & purchase of our new home.

I chose Stone Creek because of excellent design and great options available for our new build. Quality workmanship.

We were not expecting to buy new when we started this venture but we found ourselves having to move quickly after the sale of our existing home. Fortunately there was a quick move-in home available and it had 99% of the features we were looking for. Unfortunately the one feature we would have liked added the contracting team didn't have availability to do for us (epoxy the garage floor), and this was the only quick move in for us to choose from. But the process for purchase was smooth, the site manager met with us and took his time to walk through giving us plenty of opportunity to check out the house. Prior to closing he addressed all the items on our checklist. Overall a great experience and we are very happy with our new home and can't wait to make lots of new memories here! ... More

Tony wasn't happy with the last minute requests from the underwriters. Not pleased with the mortgage company our mortgage was transferred to. This whole experience caused Lorraine and I frustration and anxiety.

Pulte does a great job as a production builder although much of the finish items such as kitchen & bathroom hardware, cabinetry, and trim could be better quality. My biggest complaint would be the finish painting. We had paint overspray / droplets all over are tile floor, bathroom fixtures, light & outlet plates, which were not removed prior to finish paint and had to be removed and cleaned by us, leaving us to touch up paint the walls. Lastly, anyone considering building a Pulte home needs to know in advance that the process happens very quickly and you need to be prepared to make decisions quickly as well. An example of this is your design appointment & consultation, which requires a lot of pre-planning on the buyers part to assure you are getting what you want in a finished home. We felt this process could have been better presented in advance, by having the process explained in detail thereby removing the unnecessary pressure of appointment time restraints in the selection process. The quality of construction is very good. The process involves lots of updates and good communications which were appreciated.

Disappointed in their finish work but the overall construction is excellent for a non custom home. They are not flexible with upgrading air conditioning systems and using a different maker for a dishwasher also no flexibility in including a gas line for people that prefer cooking with gas we put the gas line for $10,000 it’s propane and it is great to be able to have our Wolf Appliances and updated kitchen appliances however we had to remove the new ones they all got donated since no flexibility on choosing your appliances !!!
