However, after moving in, one quickly realizes that Pulte does not give the same level of craftmanship to the buyers' homes. The foundation, structure, and layout of their homes is wonderful. But, they are lacking with the finishing touches. The paint is awful; you can see white through it in many areas. If you try to wipe off a mark, you instantly expose the sheetrock. Additionally, the paint job (along with the grout and caulk) is sloppy. There are drips, runs, and missed areas throughout the home. We were able to close and move in on last closing date date give. Approximately 6 weeks before. Had several building issues but not major Most have been addressed in Tinley fashion. We enjoyed working with our construction manager and trusted his recommendations and judgement.

Good quality condo. No grab bars in showers even though this is a senior (55+) community. With over $ 28,000 in options, kitchen stove exhaust does not ventilate outside. HOA monthly charge of $ 423 only provides landscaping and internet for home owner, rest is for community development. Not too happy about it. Other than those items, it is a good home, nice area.

Unfortunately, that my deed did not recorded until after I discovered a neighbor’s deed was recorded on my property, also excess watering of my lawn created a $500 irrigation bill that I am still working to get partially reimbursed for.

Although my sales lady Lisa & site manager David were terrific but unfortunately I was quite dissatisfied with multiple employees I turned to for assistance on correcting that our home & a neighbor’s mortgage were recorded on our property. We closed on 12/17/2020 & Our home was not successfully recorded until 2/2/2021. I would like to discuss these 2 issues (water bill & recording deed with the appropriate senior official. Obviously, I cannot recommend the otherwise well done closing because the deed was not recorded & I had to find out it wasn’t recorded myself.

We love the community and the home we chose - they definitely fit our life style. There were build quality issues such as interior paint on floors and light switches in every room, as well as exterior drainage and erosion issues. Overall, we are happy with the home, just wish there were fewer problems to deal with.

initially we had warm fuzzys, but as the process continued we felt that we were just another sale. We approached this home buying experience as our last forever home. There were issues on our final walk through, that were camouflaged. Good process but the finish good falls short of expectations. Would score higher if your quality manager was better trained in fixing issues before new homeowners move in. Must cost you a lot in rework and fixing after sale.

Detailing on the house could be better. For instance, painting only has one thin coat on the walls and doors. If you wipe the wall or doors to clean a mark the paint starts to come off. Stucco needs repair in patio wall corner. All reported but slow response.

Personally I hate Pulte so I can’t recommend them, first step they didn’t allow me to inspect the house prior to sheetrock so I don’t know anything about the material used, initially they told us a HOA price, at closing was changed to 504.00 yet all the HOA services are not completed & it seems they have not rush to complete them it is cost effective. 20 years ago I bought a 3000 sq. ft. Pulte Home in Las Vegas. I was in New York at the time and had the construction manager send pictures of the progress. That house was built and when I moved in I was extremely impressed and was happy to see there were very little touch up and repairs. Now 20 years later I bought a 2000 sq. ft. Pulte home in Florida. I was very disappointed with the fit and finish. It feels like they tried to get it done as fast as possible with no consideration to quality or workmanship. Working with Alex was a great experience. She was very knowledgeable and kept me updated on all the progress. As far as the building experience, having just built another home 2 years ago I noticed a big difference. I am not happy with how the home was finished. It involves a lot of laziness on the part of the trades. I would recommend that there should be someone who goes through the house after the build. For example, cupboards that are damaged handles that are not straight, the wrong color grout, bad painting, outdoor stones that are damaged, sloppy finishing all the way around. My ...

Also, HOA restrictions not disclosed until AFTER closing. Should ask for rules ahead of closing. Some of the subcontractors did not do a good job, bowed walls poor painting, dented appliances, etc. The Quality Control team did not disclose any of there or fix them.

There were many surprises in the process. Overall, I am surprised by the craftmanship and the lack of efficiency. The costs of the inefficiency must be mind blowing. Lights and air left on with doors open; sprinkler head breaks so they turn off the water killing grass and plants instead of fixing $5.00 item. But Jason in warranty has been a lifesaver. Jason has made everything right. He needs to be recognized.
