Overall we had a good experience with this builder, with the exception that there could have been better communications on the progress, as promised, and the quality of workman ship didn't meet the standards they were advertising when we purchased.

Del Webb/Pulte does some things very well, some things not so much. Overall, I’m satisfied.

The workmanship should have been much higher quality than what we received. Paint splatters on the floors were everywhere throughout the house. Tile work was poorly executed. Doors are not hung properly. Moulding around door frames and cabinets are cut short leaving big gaps. The sliding glass doors were not installed properly and leaked during the first rain storm. Bugs were constantly entering the house due to the glass doors not having insect barriers installed. I could go on but I will run out of room. We have been in the house for over a month and nothing has been corrected. I go through the proper process of reporting things that need to be repaired, but we have not received any response as to when the repairs will be made. There is a lack of communication from customer service. Additionally if you pay cash there is no information shared at closing. Just a handover of keys. ... More

Nice home overall; however, issues take longer than expected time to be resolved due to getting the subcontractors to return and fix the problems.

We are very happy with our new home and the great service we have received. I have already recommended DelWebb to our friends in Michigan.

Let me preface this review by saying Pulte builds a good home, but the timing to build is of utmost importance. The real estate market was hot, building material prices soared, and the COVID pandemic delayed/shut down many manufacturers. Some say it was the perfect storm. Those of us in the building process found frustration at every turn. The ratings above reflect these times.

If it weren't for Jerrad I would have had a very negative experience. Even though things were late arriving in the building procedure he would keep me informed of what was going on.

I purchased a home under construction while living out of state. Dan and Helder not only made the process painless, my home is beautiful and there were absolutely no problems. The experience could not have been better.

Our sales manager Mike was fantastic from the beginning and made us feel very welcome, our field manager communicated with us almost weekly every step of the way and because we were seven hours away, we were unable to see the process unfold, it was nice having the communication from start to finish, an extraordinary experience!

We are impressed by the Quality of the construction of home. Vincent & Mike kept up us up to date on building process in these 10 months & completion came in on time. For the small details not completed Ashleigh has done a great job with tracking down tradesmen to complete. Very happy with new home. Although the price was higher than we anticipated we recognize that this is the Florida market at this point.

The building experience was pleasant, however after the walk thru seems like we were just pushed to the wayside. No follow thru and very hard to get things corrected.

The sales person, Jen, was awesome as well as the design team. They were most helpful in helping me make decisions about various items. My main problem with the entire process was the quality control of various vendors who worked on my home. Clearly, there was limited overseer of the build. If you are going to build here, live close to monitor it. I lived out of state so was not able to do so.

Project manager Trent was great to work with. He goes above and beyond.

This has been the most stressful event in our almost 46 years together other than deaths in the family and personal medical issues. We visited the build site almost every evening after the workers had left and, on almost a daily basis, were disappointed to observe incorrect installation, shoddy workmanship, damage done and food wrappers, cigarette butts, empty soda and beer cans laying around. The so-called “finishing touches” were far less pleasing than we expected, such that we paid to have the entire house repainted before we moved in. Our home inspector said “Your house is structurally sound but cosmetically it is a disgrace.” That said our salesperson was excellent and after our first Field Manager quit and his boss took over our ability to communicate concerns and get them resolved improved greatly. Quality of workmanship and skilled labor was lacking for the quality we were expecting. Examples: Grout pitting and thin, trim work, especially on crown molding, Shower glass not placed in correct location. Building manger provided weekly, detailed updates on the progress of the home. Sod laid before sprinkler system set for watering. More than half the sod died before sprinklers were programmed to come on. Still waiting on dead sod to be replaced. Plantation shutters work ordered as an option at a premium. Were installed prior to closing. Were installed weeks later. For "custom home", there were not enough designed choices for the buyer. ... Buying was a good experience. Pulte mortgage was just ok. Love love the house. Response to 30 day punch list is excellent. Great people work fir Del Webb.

I was very unhappy about the 15 months it took to build, and the morgage game they played on me!!!

While the quality of the materials used for and in our Del Webb home is very good and we LOVE our beautiful home, we are disappointed with the workmanship evidenced by the number of annoying repairs & corrections needed within our first 90 days of homeownership. We think homeowners can expect a few adjustments as part of any post-settlement home. However, we have an an exceptional number of annoying repairs, fixes and adjustments in our new Del Webb home. Building a home requires coordination of a extensive number of activities, accessing materials and working with suppliers, all of which are mind boggling but home builders are very experienced at managing all of the activities needed to deliver a COMPLETED home. While we have had NO SERIOUS problems, which would be issues that effect the appearance or functionality of any feature of our home, we believe Del Webb deserves 4 STARS for the number of annoying issues to address in our new home. ... Think coffee has a great process from start to finish. They make it very simple from buying your house to getting insurance mortgaging your house and closing.

Poor quality of workmanship. Low quality of appliances. House was filthy when we moved in.

Our sales person was very knowledgeable of the brand and the model we chose to build. She was able to help us in selection of options. We were given an estimated close date of 2/15/22, with a wider window of January to March. We closed on 2/10/22. The few items that we noted after moving in that needed attention were addressed in a very timely manner.

Despite all the COVID related supply chain issues, our home was completed on time and we are very pleased with the result. The home, the Del Webb Community and the surrounding area in Lakewood Ranch are a great match for the lifestyle we were seeking.

A REAL BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY !!! Michelle our sales person was excellent. She was always there. If we had any questions during the build process she answered them. She was so polite, understanding and very professional. Our site manager Mason was on target also. He kept us updated every week with emails, phone calls and pictures. NOW THE BAD !!! Our walk through punch list has not been addressed to our liking. We are still waiting for things to be done or items to be received. We are promised results but none are being granted. We are living in our house now for over six weeks and only a few things have been done. We realize there are some supply issues but other items can be resolved with a little more initiative. The workers are very professional and respectful. We just wish they would show up on time with the right items to be fixed or installed. ... More
