The builder has divisions for sales, builder, closing, and mortgage. Our experience was that none of these divisions talked to each other; one of them flatly refused to call another one!! So we would get a request from one division, call another division for the answer, and then call the first division back with the answer. A lot of frustrating work for us as buyers. Took most of the joy out of the home-buying experience. Very inefficient from a corporate point of view. Especially since one of the divisions was in a different time zone.

From contract to closing process was smooth and easy. Sales Rep was fantastic! He knows the business well. A lil more attention to detail by the different trades during construction could have eliminated a lot of warranty work that is now being completed. The cleaning crew before closing was disappointing.

We lived close by so were able to watch the building process. We knew right from the sale that it was a "take it or leave it" process because they do not make changes outside their standard. So we knew we needed to watch and be involved in the process. We visited each week. We noted that the furring and studs were not evenly spaced so in one room where it was critical because of the load the wall would bare, we personally added some because they would not. Bexley- Lovely community, but difficult building process

We recently built a home in Bexley and moved in March 2024. We love the neighborhood, HOWEVER... since moving in, we have had numerous problems. The problems started during the build phase. Our builder manager, Rafael, said the right things, but did not fulfill the promise. The worksite was filthy throughout the process, and as a result, the HVAC motor was damaged and needed to be replaced shortly after closing (it whistled loudly for 6 weeks). There were several (5) issues missed during inspection (breakers, electrical, A/C, insulation, and missing items). Very difficult to contact Pulte Warranty group to resolve issues and they were not responsive (didn't return calls, took days to address issues with vendors, etc.) during the process. Eventually my Warranty contact left Pulte and I was not notified. I've been living in my home for over a month and the issues have still not been completely addressed. Additionally, quality of build and components used has not been great in relation to price of the home.

What should have been (per Del Webb’s) tv ads a joyous event became anything but that. Getting answers to questions, pushed to close when jot complete and then getting deficiencies corrected certainly kills the message you advertise. The residents are phenomenal, the experience just short of a nightmare. What happened to the Del Webb vision? BTW we are not in a 40 foot but a 50

The "bones" -- slab, masonry & framing -- of our home are excellent. But the interior and (exterior) finish work were some of the worst I have seen in a new home. I know that skilled labor is hard to find right now, but the painting, woodwork and tile were downright sloppy -- I'm glad I can paint and do tile work. Right now, this builder using what is, in my opinion, some of the worst water cut-off valves I have ever seen under all the sinks and toilets. While we had a wonderful experience with our sales person, our design person and our mortgage person. The houses are put up so fast that we found things that needed attention weekly. The field manager should be on top of things but wasn’t. The finishing work tile work, painting, very sloppy! Everything rushed yet still couldn’t get things together so we could close on time. Now we wait to have someone come and FIX what should have been done right the first time or done before we closed. Extremely inconvenient.

Salesperson was great. Field manager responsive but the team behind the field manager failed to delivered. Our friends who built at same time in Stone Creek had a much better experience so maybe it is the Bexley team that leaves much to be desired.

Love the community, amenities are very nice the people within the community are awesome! People are friendly & very helpful. The quality of the houses are not so great! They put up so many at one time that they are sacrificing the quality as they build each house and cut corners. Very expensive for the quality.

There were numerous things wrong with this home prior to closing. We brought it to the attention of the on site people in charge and they assured us that the item would be repaired BEFORE our closing date. This did not happen. We still signed with a list of things that needed to be done and were told 2 weeks - it would be all done. Over a month late and very little has been done. There are six outstanding issue..no 7 that are still outstanding and not addressed. Flood lights I paid extra for. Can’t turn off at switch..problem electrical. Hardwood floor in entry hall a board lifted and hasn’t been repaired. Counter in guest bathroom miscue where it meets the faucet leaving large gap. Bolts and instructions for hurricane shutters not provided. Broken glass for turntable in microwave..received a replacement that was incorrect size. Still waiting for yet another replacement. One week before moving into my home I did a walk thru to identify a few items that are typical. I discovered 19/21 interior doors were cracked. In the process to correct the problem and keep my close date, as my rental expired, movers, utilities, etc. all arranged, they tried to fix the problem. Stay on top of the build process, the subs are very sloppy and appear to not care about other work completed, many tasks have to be redone because they are not done correctly the first time, ensure all problems are rectified prior to closing or it takes a long time to get them resolved.

Tradesmans work quality is lacking. Materials used are low end with top dollar pricing. Repairs usually require a second call back to get it done correctly.
