Overall, my experience purchasing my Del Webb home was a gifting adventure. I had previously been through an arduous home building/purchase attempt with a local builder that left me disenchanted and financially poorer. I’m happy to say, my experience with the Pulte Group and Del Webb have been a Blessing in waiting. Assurances and get it done attitude persisted to allow a quick and easy Closing.

Pulte Mortgage did a great job with the people who were my contacts in Colorado (Jordon & Trisha). At closing we only had the attorney present. Wish we could of had a Rep. from sales and Del Webb Sun City HOA. Had some questions should be answered (Mail box key, Garbage can & pickup, Gate pass) Still don't have mail box & Key after one month, Must go to post office for mail. House is good. One thing to mention is the paint used in house is not of the same quality as the model homes. Talked with contact from paint MFG. they said it was a low grade that they used,

Overall an ok building and buying experience. Make sure you do your research and know what homes and options are available to you as the sales people don’t know themselves or want to spend too much time with you. The initial build was great and solid. But the self inflicted damage weekly by workers was hard to believe. One tradesman finishes their work and someone else come along and damages it. The paint job was very thin on exterior and interior fit and finish is questionable. . Protective materials are removed way to soon and paint overspray is expected. Overall I am very happy with my new home. My sales person, Mark did a fine job as did Tim, the builder. The only reason that prevented a great rating was my horrible experience with your sub contractor, Phoenix Systems. I had upgrades of about $10,000 in my home including surround sound. They were to prewire the house and finish after I moved in. After moving in, they came for the installation and quickly realized that the entire pre wiring was done incorrectly. The installer stated it looked like they took someone off of the street to prewire the house. They had to take down all the speakers and reset them, resulting in insulation all over my home. They then had to reschedule and come back for what I was told would be a "quick fix". The quick fix took another 5 hours as the house had to be re wired correctly. This all should have been done in the construction period. The original installer also added a meaningless wall plate that serves no purpose and is an eyesore. I contacted Phoenix systems and wanted them to fix the eyesore they left, but I never heard back. I'd love to send you the email's I sent them including pictures showing what they had done. The customer experience with Phoenix systems was horrible and they never even apologized let alone replied to my complaint. Phoenix Systems prevented Del Webb from getting a great review. ... More

The process for design and layout went very smooth. Robert was terrific to work with in sales center. Mary was also a jewel in helping with design decisions. Our first builder Tim was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Shane our 2nd builder was new to the job, but did his best. There needed to be more attention to finishes, painting, sanding, cleaning, concrete and concrete work .

We were extremely please with the process of building a home at Del Webb in Griffin. We had looked at other 55+ communities, and they just didn’t have the feel of community as this Del Webb. It just seemed like the perfect fit for us.

Very good experience for new construction. Quality home.

I would have liked to have more input as the build progressed.

Good Communication with Construction team

Overall, the experience was very good. There were some quality problems with painting/caulking/grouting and splattering of paint on the hard wood floors. But the house is well constructed and closing process was very efficient.

The building experience overall was great we were at the house every day. My only complaint was with the design center. There were many options that were not even mentioned and were not found out until too late. This was very disappointing. I would recommend that future buyers are given a check off list so they know what is standard and optional. Also at the sales office, a computer mock-up of the home In color would be very helpful so you know what you are buying. We did not know the actual color design until the home was completed. The quality & craftsmanship is on par with other builders I've worked with.

Quality of house is good. Several Trades are messy and quality of workmanship could be improved.

The development and amenity package in the Del Webb is first class. Our prior home was new construction in a Pulte!Wieland development. Standard features in our prior home such as garage wall paint finish, irrigation system, and wood trim around windows are all up charges at Del Webb. The sales consultants main focus was concern about the closing of the sale of our current home. This negative attitude dampened the excitement and fun normally associated with purchasing a new home. Our supervisor Austin made the experience pleasant as he was always there to answer any questions or concerns we had during building, inspection and after the sale.

We had the best project manager supervising the contractors in our home. Most responsive service we’ve ever received.

First of all I never give perfect marks, no one is perfect. We enjoyed our experience with the sales staff, we had a good salesman, answered all questions we had at the time, returned all our calls in a timely manner. The construction period could have been handled better in my opinion, nothing serious, every situation is different. Del Webb has been building homes for along time and they have it down to a science, I'm only in my home for a month and we are happy.

It was good no real problem

I give 3 stars to the Quality of materials and workmanship. While the quality of materials used to build the home itself are excellent, it’s the attention to detail that’s lacking - broken windows installed, lackluster cleaning (minimal attempt made at removing drywall dust off floors before hardwood and tile installation), sloppy final cleaning of windows, etc, tracking mud in on newly-installed carpet and then making no attempt to clean it up, etc), planting millipede-infected sod that was already dead upon installation, sloppy / haphazard exterior paint application... I gave them 5 stars for trustworthiness, because when I asked them to do something, they did it. It just got done haphazardly sometimes. This is where attitude (‘it’s not my house’) and the lack of attention to detail come in... I gave 4 stars to Value for the price paid. While we love our new home, we aren’t happy with being ‘forced’ to go with carpet in the basement when we didn’t want carpet! Or not being able to upgrade appliances or other items after the initial order selection. The Del Webb selection process is simply too restrictive for a home that’s supposed to be ‘custom’. More selections / options are needed... I gave 4 stars to Responsiveness to issues. Again, while everything I asked for eventually got done, it took prodding and repeated badgering to get completion... ... More

I recently purchased my house and I am very satisfied with the house. There are a few things that could be improved on....placing of the furnace in the attic isn't the best idea, (was used as a space saver idea but really having a 55+ person pulling the attic ladder down & climbing up the ladder to replace the filter in the furnace needs to be rethought out), also placing the attic ladder in the master bedroom closet was placed extremely close to the clothes rack so blouses,dresses, or pants can't be hung...you have to move them before pulling down the attic ladder, then there isn't any place to hang hand towels or wash cloths next to the sink in the master bathroom. Pulte needs to have more knowledgeable customer representatives at the front office when making a purchase. In my case I didn’t feel I had that. Questions couldn’t be answered and I didn’t receive the professional care that I should have. The professional care I did receive was from the building supervisor. He was in contact with me throughout the whole building process. He was excellent.

Nice neighborhood, quality of finishes below expectations.
