The overall home buying process was easy and simple. My complaint is that the landscaping at the back of the house was incomplete and looks terrible. Complaints to the HOA have not been productive. If Del Webb/Pulte would respond in a positive way to improve the landscaping, that would be appreciated.

This really was one of the best home buying experiences I have had! Concerns/ questions were addressed promptly and accurately The builder went above and beyond. My sales person was wonderful and everyone on the property absolutely delightful. I felt like I was home before I ever moved in!

Building a home is a major undertaking. It is important to establish relationships with all involved upfront and ensure effective, close loop communication with all involved. It is not an issue free process, but any issue can be resolved when everyone is working towards the same goal. I am pleased with my home and have established the necessary relationships to ensure issues that may arise after closing will be addressed. The entire team was very customer focused.

First of all I never give perfect marks, no one is perfect. We enjoyed our experience with the sales staff, we had a good salesman, answered all questions we had at the time, returned all our calls in a timely manner. The construction period could have been handled better in my opinion, nothing serious, every situation is different. Del Webb has been building homes for along time and they have it down to a science, I'm only in my home for a month and we are happy.

The process was smooth all the way through to the first 30 days in our home. All the Pulte people and others involved were very helpful, competent, and professional. We thank them all for a job well done.

We had such a great experience in the building and purchasing our new home. We lived 2000 miles away and still felt very connected to the building process. The communication with the sales agent and construction manager was outstanding ! We love our new home.

The entire process is described from day one. There are stages and time-lines that have to be met and are. Standards are high! David, my builder, made me feel like I was his one and only customer. I've built 3 other homes in my life and this, by far, has been my best experience. They truly care

I am very pleased with my pulte home.

I give 3 stars to the Quality of materials and workmanship. While the quality of materials used to build the home itself are excellent, it’s the attention to detail that’s lacking - broken windows installed, lackluster cleaning (minimal attempt made at removing drywall dust off floors before hardwood and tile installation), sloppy final cleaning of windows, etc, tracking mud in on newly-installed carpet and then making no attempt to clean it up, etc), planting millipede-infected sod that was already dead upon installation, sloppy / haphazard exterior paint application... I gave them 5 stars for trustworthiness, because when I asked them to do something, they did it. It just got done haphazardly sometimes. This is where attitude (‘it’s not my house’) and the lack of attention to detail come in... I gave 4 stars to Value for the price paid. While we love our new home, we aren’t happy with being ‘forced’ to go with carpet in the basement when we didn’t want carpet! Or not being able to upgrade appliances or other items after the initial order selection. The Del Webb selection process is simply too restrictive for a home that’s supposed to be ‘custom’. More selections / options are needed... I gave 4 stars to Responsiveness to issues. Again, while everything I asked for eventually got done, it took prodding and repeated badgering to get completion... ... More

I’m disappointed with the house. Happy with the great neighbors. Don’t know if I’d do it again.

Everything was great, I just think that they should probably offer a little nicer homes for money. I understand the community is great just feel like the quality of the products put in the home are substandard. I think they sacrifice quality for quality.

We recently purchased a new Del Webb home in Sun City Griffin. Like any hone build, there were certain parts of the build that did not go smoothly. The Del Webb team was very responsive to addressing the problems and we ended up closing on time.

I recently purchased my house and I am very satisfied with the house. There are a few things that could be improved on....placing of the furnace in the attic isn't the best idea, (was used as a space saver idea but really having a 55+ person pulling the attic ladder down & climbing up the ladder to replace the filter in the furnace needs to be rethought out), also placing the attic ladder in the master bedroom closet was placed extremely close to the clothes rack so blouses,dresses, or pants can't be hung...you have to move them before pulling down the attic ladder, then there isn't any place to hang hand towels or wash cloths next to the sink in the master bathroom. Otherwise I am pleased with the house. ... More

Realizing that this is not a custom built home, the builder could have been a little more flexible. For example, I wanted to upgrade the paint( very low grade) both exterior and interior. The answer was NO. I wanted the builder to not assemble the master closet shelving, the answer was NO. Didn’t know that my garage was not going to be finished until a month before closing. The Sales rep was a nice guy, but he made several mistakes during the build and didn’t offer certain option that we could have purchased. There were other issues as well. It wasn’t all bad and they did do certain things right, but there is definite room for improvement and the leadership needs to understand customers needs. ... More

This was a good experience, sales people was very experienced and helpful, very patient. Building contractor was very thorough and kept me well informed. Communication was a must and he was very upfront with any issues and solutions!

we are disturbed that the finish work is not up to par. The painting work was terrible. They painted over red mud, missed lots of spots, They planted sod over scraps of roofing shingles so the grass was not growing. We went out and grabbed sod from a pile in the street and fixed this problem ourselves. Took 8 weeks to fix a problem created by Pulte Mortgage people that would have only taken a couple of minutes to fix.
