Love my Del Webb Chateau Elan home and my neighbors! Happy to have moved into a community with an easy and active lifestyle and have the ability to make new friends who share similar interests and are in my same age group. Reminds me of when I moved in to my old neighborhood 20+ years ago when I chose a kid friendly, family community with kid friendly programs and amenities - now it’s about a lifestyle with programs and amenities for me. The process for picking out your building products such as flooring, cabinets, etc. is a quick process. Would suggest looking at the showrooms and having a good idea of what you want in your new home beforehand.

Make sure you get he irrigation system put in, we were talked out of it by our guy that sold us our lot. Big mistake. You should also find out about the rates for bring vehicles into the state, we found out and were blown away by the costs. Knowing some of the up front costs, could make the move a lot easier. We LOVE our home...

The Monotony law prohibited us from having the colors we originally picked for our house exterior, and caused us to repaint our house to a color we did not like. When the bushes were removed from the back of our house it revealed a retention pond with muddy water that was not visible when we purchased the lot. Features in model we selected were not available: lighting, chrome fixtures..

Haven't been here long enough to give a full review. Been here 3 weeks and they are coming back to tear out my shower pan "While I'm Living Here" and replacing it because it is installed wrong. Hopefully the rest of the house is ok. Time will tell.

I loved the model home with all the beautiful lighting, and upgrades, however, none of the upgrades shown are even remotely available to the buyer! The upgrades offered are not what you'd find in a home in this price range. I realize Pulte is a big company wanting to put up homes as fast as possible and buyers having to much input and changes would slow down their process. However, I haven't spoken to one new homeowner yet that hasn't said the same thing. High price for a cookie cutter house. 90% of the homeowners want choices and are used to finer finishing touches in their homes. ...

The options list is very confusing. I missed a critical one because the language is too vague. ASK about every option you want. Have your sales rep point it out to you so you can recognize it on the printout you sign.

We think the sales office needs to pay more attention to buyer(s) getting acquainted with amenities (we never personally received any introduction to anything; heard later that some buyer(s) received tours of facilities onsite). Also, we have an ongoing issue with sales with trying to assess if we received correct cabinets in bathrooms; got runaround and never was able to follow thru with our precise question. Good customer service but poor quality interior and exterior wood trim. Interior doors cheap and very poor finishing of sheet rock - particularly seams on ceilings. I’ve been In home for one month and many, many sheet rock nail pops. Paid for upgraded kitchen and appliances, but cabinets of poor quality and garbage disposer is under powered. Sod is full of weeds as well. While I like the lifestyle in neighborhood, Pulte should use a better grade of wood for trim and do a much better job of ensuring their trade people properly finish the interior

Right after move we found 1. front door lock was broken, 2. Furnace was not connected to gas pipe - heat was not working, found millions of ants that was eradicated at my expense, garage door was not going down - fixed at my expense, found spilled concrete on front hallway, entire driveway was not forced sprayed (clean) as others, found front lawn in very dried state including small tree was dying - very few leaves also the rest of grass around the house was very dried and brown. NOT impressed with total quality of house. Found too many fixes needed before move in, such as paint not ...

We had previously purchased a 3B / 3BR Dunwoody Way without a loft as a spec house but this is our first time through the entire build process. Our expectations were high based on our previous house. The first lot provided to us would not accommodate our house. So we had to get another lot which cost us a month delay. David C, our building supervisor, was available whenever required, welcomed our input, and was excellent in communicating the house build with us. The builder Pulte did a horrible job building this brand new home. I have a list of repairs and a basement leaking water. I hope to work with them on repairs but if. not, I definitely would never recommend this builder!

I like my home overall. I cannot believe the low quality of the front door to my home. You can seer light coming in around it. My building manager was scheduled to come back after closing to work on it, but did not show up. I have not yet had time to contact warranty. It is a very poor quality installation and a very low quality product to begin with. I am also unhappy with the sod installation in my back yard. Overall we are enjoying our home with the above noted exceptions.

Del Webb sales rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. He plugged us into the exact house we were looking for. The construction manager was attentive throughout the construction process and great follow up. We have owned Pulte built homes in the past and they have greatly improved on their construction methods and materials. We would buy from them again.
