Closing Turnover Disaster

I was buying a model home "as is". Pulte asked to move up the closing and close in 2 weeks (6 weeks earlier than scheduled)which I did. The day before closing my realtor did a walk thru and noted the items to be addressed that were not considered "as is". This was a model home that had a sales office in the garage. After closing I went to the house to find nothing that was noted the day prior had been completed. A few weeks prior in a walk thru I was told that the garage would be turned back to a completed garage. They had walls, ductwork, hvac, lighting and flooring to remove. While I was ...

Lack of professionalism in building process

Don’t trust anything they tell you and check the process of building as often as possible. Their subcontractors are lackadaisical and exhibit very poor workmanship and concern about your new home. Quality is substandard for the prices you pay.

Very Poor Customer Service, Communication, and Follow-up

At our initial meeting with our field manager (Andy S.) in August 2020, he assured us that he would provide weekly updates as our house was being built. We received "weekly" updates on 9/4, 9/18, and 12/18/2020. We would have to ask questions several times before receiving any response. We would often receive no response at all. When we would raise issues, Andy would often respond "I'll take care of it" but not follow-up and actually do anything. We ordered Pulte's kitchen appliance package and upgraded the cooktop from gas to electric. We had no appliances at all until about a week ...
