Disappointed with elevator. Has been down a few times in two months! Also, no A/C vents at entrance. This means that entry into the unit is not pleasant since no air movement. Too many dogs!

The process of looking for a condo, purchasing a condo and moving into a condo has been facilitate by all at Pulte Homes at Chauncy Lake. Thank you all!

The sales office, specifically Cindy, tirelessly met with me a number of times, answered all my questions and helped me navigate through all the steps as well as the paperwork involved. Tim from Pulte met with me to explain in detail the construction of my condo and Joe explained everything at the “walk through” of my unit. All of the staff is and was extremely helpful. I’m very happy in my new home.

Although brand new at the Chauncy Lake property, Cindy responded quickly to questions and addressed issues promptly. Joe Robillard, who did the walk through and follow up repairs responded quickly and promptly making a pleasant maintenance experience. Thank you.

The staff was very resourceful during the purchasing process. Everything went very smoothly.

Sales Office lied when they told us work on the new building quit every day at three. They work seven days a week until dark sometimes even after dark. We were told appliances were checked and tested before we moved in. Mine, and at least 30 other people in my building have electric ranges where the ovens tripped the circuit breaker. Every time it is put on. It took whirlpool a month to come out and investigate the situation. Dog owners are ruining the new building. They let the dogs defecate right outside the front door, ruining the grass. We have even had dogs defecate in our elevator and the lobby where the owner just took off and left it. The rule is dogs should be walked 30 feet from the building. These people do not read emails. They should be sent regular mail on what the rules are, and fine the ones who break those rules. I also don’t know how Pulte can build multi family buildings without automatic doors in compliance with ADA regulations. ... More

Overall, the condo looks great. When we asked the sales team why one side of the building was considered 'premium'. The response was that they do not decide but they are told by their management which side is considered premium. Of course, we do not actually see our condo until it is finished, and we do the walkthrough. It is then we found out why one side was considered the premium side of the building. In the unit we were interested in purchasing, as you look out each window on the east side, all you can see is a state owned impounded, car lot. We asked if there were any other available units within this building. We were able to view them and liked one of the units shown to us. We asked if we could swap units and purchase one on the premium side. The sales team could not answer but later that day, we were told their immediate manager said no. We asked to speak to the manager. A call was to take place the next morning. We had decided, even though we had put down the required 15%, we were ready to walk away from the condo. Once we talked to the manager the next day, we told him we were not living in that unit. He agreed to let us change out the condos. After being here a few weeks, we found out that the impounded car lot was an ongoing issue with several residents within the community over the last two years, so we now also knew the sales team obviously knew and withheld that information from us. As for the quality of the condo, we have noticed some issues. The AC/heating unit is essentially outside the condo. I can see it is insulated and has a small heating unit, but it is separated from the rest of the condo. The problem is that this is New England. If we lose power in the winter, there is a good chance that significant damage could be done. I am told this has happened already to some of the units at this complex, mainly pipes freezing. We were also told to check on the heating unit during the winter just to be sure it is still working. Apparently, some of these heating units stopped working but most were discovered in time to have them repaired/replaced. I have been to several condos in Florida and they put their units in the interior of the unit. The hardwood flooring was not installed correctly. There is also some type of glue that someone dropped on the hardwood floor. We have notified Pulte personnel, and a work order has been submitted, but no date as to when they will be here to repair. We were told that they are busy and will try to schedule us in when they have time to get the work done. The screens in the window do not sit flush with the sills. I am constantly pushing the screens down, but they seem to manage to open up that little crack again allowing these little annoying bugs (gnats, mosquitoes, and one-time yellow jacket) into the condo. The lights, faucets, and hardware in the bathrooms seem to be whatever was laying around at the time the workers were installing them. We have a mix of brushed nickel and chrome. There does not seem to be any thought in what was picked to install the bathrooms. The last three items are more annoyances than anything else. But when you purchase something brand new, you expect to have quality work done and not looking at something that appears to be thrown together just to get it off the shelf. ... More

Just found out there is homeless shelter for families going in next door which wasn’t revealed during the home buying process. Happy with the swimming pool and recreation center but now wonder if it will be crowded when they finish building all of the units. Paying the HOA fee has turned out to be an incredibly difficult task since the HOA administrators are incredibly disorganized - I have sent in both a direct withdrawal form for my checking account and a check when that didn’t work and they didn’t take the funds with either method. Quality of the units aren’t great- I have upgrades for everything including the flooring and kitchen. The cabinets are particle board and the tile floors were completed sloppy. ... More

Buying the condo was easy. The issues are another story. The air conditioning has been a problem from day one. I have learned from EVERYBODY that this is an ongoing issue. Should have been fixed long ago as this is building number 6 of the complex. The problem still continues. My first night there I had to stay at my sisters because it was too hot to sleep there. Any hot day my condo is uncomfortable. They have tried temporary repairs. Still waiting for the repair. We moved into the condo in July. Keys are another ongoing issue. They are Hager keys and say do not duplicate on them. So the building and the condo association point their fingers at each other for responsibility. Meanwhile I am still struggling to have keys made. Traveled to Framingham as they told me to and none of the keys work. Still waiting to get working keys. Another issue that should have been resolved long before I bought the condo. There have been expected issues with new build and some are fixed quicker than others. I am not always sure they are being honest with me. ... More

Our experience has exceeded expectations. From our initial visit to the model center through construction and closing, everyone we have encountered has been professional and helpful. Now in our 2nd month of living here we are totally satisfied.

Had some minor issues with my unit that were handled quickly. Just wished that paint quality was better and the title in the bathroom was laid better. But after that, no complaints.

The quality of the condo is what I was shown on the model when I was considering to make a purchase. Tim and his construction team had a checklist posted in each unit. His team reviewed it weekly to make sure progress was being made and it was done correctly. Very satisfied with my purchase.

We found the buying experience very good. The sales staff were always responsive to our questions and returned call relatively promptly, The virtual meetings with Tim were very helpful. We especially enjoyed working with Marie, who helped us picking out the many upgrades to our unit. She was a great designer. Jason kept us informed on the building progress throughout long and stessful process.

The builder neglected details and was in a rush. Grouts in the bathrooms are barely there and rough. I wonder if the tiles will stay together much long and grout sealer was not even applied where the bathtub and floor meet and the grout is cracking from drying. Generally the workmanship is quite poor. I wonder what else I will notice later. And the doors are too big where the space is small; they hit together. Buying process was pleasant.

Although I was initially impressed with how you folks reached out and communicated, I quickly learned that your management group is NOT responsive, they are disorganized, and maybe they are just not capable of doing the job. I am still ironing out administrative problems after 2 months. Also, your "bait and switch " sales techniques of selling your properties with amenities that are later rescinded is more than infuriating.

We love our new home But please Read the fine print of your contract. Sales does not verbally tell you about the fines you can encounter. make sure you are ready to move.

There are a lot of questions that were not brought forward by the sales office when I bought into Dell Webb. Some Condos are right handed and left handed. That was not explained to me. I thought I was going into a right hand Condo and went into a left hand one and when I told the sales office that they told me basically to suck it up it's not an issue, you will get use to it. The second thing is the parking spot, I am in a spot where I can barely park in and it is a safety issue. I tried to change it after closing and again they said they can't do anything. But it truly is a safety issue if a fire broke out and I couldn't get out of the car. They are possibly building Section 8 or like apartments next to the property, for some people this is an issue for their safety that is why they bought into this community at Del Webb was to be safe. Del Web said they didn't know anything about it and if you want it to change it vote. Great Answer. Some of the appliances are not high quality. My dishwasher already broke and had to get it repaired. The washing machine is so so. For the money they could of brought in better quality appliances. Taxes in this area are really high, some of the highest in Massachusetts and of course the sales office would never tell you that. I just didn't do enough research, my fault-- and finally if you would ask if I would do this again, I am not sure I would buy a Del Web property. ... More

The builder was very concerned with keeping us informed throughout the whole process and did an excellent job in communicating the status of the project. Quality of the workmanship was extremely commendable and we could not have been more pleased.

I am very happy with my new home, and community, it was well worth the wait! I had complete trust and confidence that Pulte/Del Webb would build a quality home and provide the support and services needed throughout the entire process. It is a stressful process for most buyers, especially not knowing precisely when your home will be completed, and Pulte delivered on time. Not an easy feat today with so many supply chain delays. The sales team sent out weekly updates and progress reports. They were always available by phone to answer questions. I met personally with the construction manager to review the finishes for my unit. He also did an online presentation explaining the construction details, Pulte construction standards which are above code, inspections, etc. My closing date was given to me more than a month in advance which didn’t change. The onsite warranty team, Gary and Joe are terrific, responding immediately to any requests or questions. The key for me was feeling confident that I was buying from a trustworthy builder, with years of experience building 55plus communities. ... More

Never any pressure during sales process. The unit is perfect for me and beautiful. Moved in just before Christmas. Had a few small issues and the team responded quickly to resolve them. From sales to construction to warranty teams all have been excellent! So happy with all of it!

So far my wife and l are enjoying our condominium. We have been happy with all the community events. The vehicles on the other side of Lyman street are a Real eye sore. They need to be relocated elsewhere.

Tim, the construction manager, did my walk through and he was very thorough and informative. There is obvious pride in the workmanship. The minor things I noted were taken care of immediately. The Customer Care team, Joe and Gary, are very responsive. It’s reassuring to have a contact responsible for the non-emergency items that inevitably come up.
