We had a great experience with Pulte Homes. They have the process down and are so helpful in designing your new home. They are e trembly responsive and attentive to detail.

The overall experience was great. However, the quality of materials, such as windows, and workmanship (crooked walls) is subpar.

Going through the buying process was very enjoyable. Everybody we worked with was very helpful and knowledgeable.

We were kept informed on the progress of the home. We had access to the home as it was being built which kept the excitement of a new home fresh. Everything was finishing on time but the cabinets. The cabinets were held up due to the Covid19 pandemic. Even with that they were able to finish the home about 3 weeks from the original date estimate (pre pandemic estimate).

The workers were very efficient! Staff is helpful and always pleasant.

The driveways, grading, landscaping and exterior work are not completed yet due to the time of year that we have moved in. Therefore, we cannot give a final overall grade. Our experience thus far with Pulte and all the construction crews has been outstanding. We are pleased with our new home and the quality. As with any new construction, there have been some issues but the response has been above and beyond.

I used to have a Del Webb winter home in Palm Desert, California. It was beautiful! When I saw a Del Webb community in Minnesota I was ecstatic! Everything started out great! Once we moved in we had issues. Our floor popped up in the front foyer, we had rain come under our back door and it ruined that flooring, tar in new driveway sunk in spots, main shower drips, waves in trim outdoors, substandard paint used on walls throughout house…. We had someone take out damaged flooring, but that was almost 6 weeks ago! Calling customer service has been a nightmare to contact. There is a recorded message for customer service that says they are “at a meeting”. I paid a premium price for our lot and our guest bedroom is 12 feet from the neighbors garage. Don’t get me wrong, we love our home, the community, and the amenities. However, we wish we could get our issues resolved. We do have a year warranty but some things shouldn’t have to wait a year. Having built and remodeled a few homes we have a perhaps more critical eye when looking at the construction and finish work - so take that into consideration while reading the review. And right up front, if you asked us if we'd do it again? Yes we would. Always start with the good - Scott our build manager and Lisa our sales agent were excellent! Responsive, understanding and professional - and enjoyable to boot! First off, the permitting/approval process, which to be fair is mostly out of Del Webbs control, took 3-4 months . PA signed in early April ground broke late July. Once the dig started the process moved along pretty rapidly as we closed mid November. If you have the option of watching the process - all I can say is I did as we glad I did, found it fun to watch things unfold. Del Webb is a 'national builder' which as it turns out is different from a 'custom' builder. Perhaps this sounds obvious, but options you have in regards to 'twiddling' your new home are very different. With custom you can do whatever your checkbook will tolerate. With a national builder, you choose from a select set of options. Both in the construction and the finish. While I would have liked to tweak some of the construction choices, (floor trusses instead of beams, mover/remove a wall, shift some plumbing) those aren't options. That being said, we really liked the model we picked out so all is well. The same is true for finish materials. I would have liked higher grade carpet and flooring options but those were not available. What was available isn't bad, I just have the feeling they'll have a shorter lifespan and need replacing sooner. Regarding countertops and tile - while the options were somewhat limited the quality seems really good. Lighting we've found is a excellent way of personalizing your home - so we left it at base builder level and replaced it. A better value for you dollars. One thing I was particularly pleased with was the fit and finish on the trim, doors and cabinetry - all done with care and resulted in very professional look. The one item that was a disappointment, but not catastrophic was the final clean. Construction clean they call it - which really means it not clean - really. Not that it's filthy with debris scattered about mind you. But - my wife had to scrub the floor several times to get the grime out of the flooring, not the experience you'd like upon walking into your new home and the first thing you find yourself doing while moving in. A last comment on national vs custom build. While we were watching our house build, I looked at similar size custom homes being built with similar amenities (but not the Del Webb Community experience), and they were easily 20% to 35% more. From our perspective very consequential price delta and one that didn't warrant the extra investment. And finally, (yes I'm long winded and this is the abridged version!), the 55+ community experience. As one person put it to me, it's the difference between being in a neighborhood and being in a community. You see your neighbors, say hi and maybe hang once and a while - the Del Webb version of community is very different. There's a plethora of activities, groups, and socialization opportunities that you can choose from to tailor your lifestyle experience. And in truth - that's at least as important as the house you build, and why you're building into the community in the first place. Good luck on your journey! ... More

Bought a spec home and Overall very happy with purchase but would have liked to have made a few changes which were not allowed.

The overall experience with the builders was a 10. The Pulte mortgage company was a terrible experience worked with them for 10 months for a no we can’t find the mortgage. The new mortgage company we got funded in 2/5 weeks.

They are very helpful and quick to reply when you have questions or a problem with you new house. Customer service has been great.

Overall we are more than very pleased with our home. Our only disappointment was our closed date was pushed back several weeks to the exact date we were leaving on an overseas cruise. We were offered no flexibility on moving up the closing date even by a week. The response to any after closing issues has been excellent. Luke was top notch throughout the building process. We would build a Del Webb home again.

I had a good experience with my new home. Jordan was very helpful with the process; Natalie was excellent in helping me pick out options; the construction manager, Mark, and his team were always ready to answer questions or keep me posted on the progress of my home. As a recent widow, this was a brand new experience for me, and everyone helped to make the process as simple as possible. I am looking forward to this new chapter.

Overall, our experience from beginning to move in was fair to good. We had some glitches and delays that could have been handled in a more sensitive way so that we didn’t have to feel like we were overacting.

Thus far we have been happy with the home and the way the neighborhood is taking shape. All individuals have been extremely professional and the features of the home are what we expected

Overall the house was built to our specs. The lot and area are as advertised. We understand that these homes are constructed several at a time, and this sometimes can cause rush jobs that may not be as good as could be. We understand that and accept that. But...we feel the workmanship with things such as caulking, cleanup, door hanging, tile floor installation, and other issues did not meet our expectations. And, we feel it was not up to the quality Pulte Homes advertises.

I was pretty impressed with the whole buying experience. Scott, the salesman, was always very responsive. The whole process took a little longer than I had expected. Margaret, the warrantee person, has been very responsive when I reach out to her. The price was a bit high as far as I am concerned, but I guess to be fair, everything is high now.

The buying experience was a learning curve. Understand that the models are full of upgrades that you pay extra for. Choices for customization are limited. Overall very happy with our house so far (have not lived in it long).
