Our home is beautiful, thank you to the many workers who played a role in it.

The one problem I have is the workmanship. I feel the materials could be a lot better. When I did walk through I was so excited about moving in that I didn’t notice the small things. So far the staff is trying to address things. Example would be the cabinets have small nicks, door are not painted fully and screen door isn’t set correctly. As long as these things get addressed and fixed I will be happy. For the money we spent on these homes I think the materials and workmanship could be better.

The building team was very helpful and responsive. Particularly helpful was having a building coordinator who provided weekly updates on the progress of construction.

Doors and trim bad quality wood, doors and trim not plumb, hard wood floor damaged throughout, caulking is messy throughout, painting is unprofessional with drips throughout, subway tile not in a straight line, fireplace set too high so can’t see flame, dirty windows and concrete splashed on windows, backdoor sill wouldn’t let door open, laundry room sink drain ring not centered on drain, kitchen cabinets trim miters don’t come together, wrong bathroom hardware-still waiting for it, toilet paper holder fell off wall, thresholds to shower, kitchen sink and tub deck scratched, small black hole in white porcelain kitchen sink (very noticeable), kitchen cabinets don’t line up, three way light switch in great room activates fan not ceiling lighting, outside fan vent for kitchen closed, window shades hanging crooked, front door finisher ruined the front door-it has drips of stain dried on in streaks, overspray in many places in house, nails bent over in floor quarter round and then painted, door latches leave marks. It's true. We heard it throughout the build. Coming to Sun City Hilton Head is absolutely wonderful.....if you don't mind living in an over priced, poor quality home. Pulte has to be the bottom of the barrel when it comes to overall quality. The workmanship is subpar at best. The materials are the absolute cheapest money can buy. They are quick to say to NO to everything that would make a client happy yet fast to do whatever they need to get you to close. As a contractor, I would be embarrassed to pass off a final product that Pulte is overjoyed to pass off. Just a number to get to the next closing. Fortunately, we have the means to have the home repainted, (which we did), retrofit with sliding glass doors, re-landscape everything, and customize the way we wanted. I wish Pulte would have just sold us the land and let us build a decent home. I will stay in SCHH forever but I could never go through another Pulte build. ... More

Del Webb sells a great product. Their partnership with Pulte is fantastic. Our construction manager, Austin, was great. He was responsive to all our questions and concerns.

Living in Sun City is amazing. Great people and neighbors. However, the quality of the workmanship and materials used in the home are sub par. We are 2 months past closing and move in date, and we still have open issues. Talking to our neighbors, our experience is common. You know how everyone has an airplane travel story, about delays or whatever. Everyone who has a new home in Sun City has an experience to share about problems with their home build.

I am disappointed in the quality of responsiveness from the construction manager, and that many of the defects that were noted before closing in the walk through were left uncorrected despite assurances that they would be. To-date they still remain un-rectified. The warranty service has been practically non-existent.

The best neighborhood I’ve ever experienced! Beautiful homes well constructed. I expected this. What surprised and delighted me was the community layout: sidewalks on both sides of all streets, marvelous sidewalk path lights and elegant and well placed street lights and whimsically painted rest benches, and meandering view corridors inviting residents to get out and walk. The Amenity Center is A+++. Congratulations to your team—-you have designed and built a perfect active adult resort style community!!!

We had a great experience from start to finish!

Finish work could be better. Trades get in too much of a hurry to move on to the next house. Field manager could be more responsive.

Lack of response for warranty issues submitted on line or called in. We have to follow up 3 or 4 times just to get a response, then we have to wait for the trades to "hopefully" show up.

This home buying experience has been excellent.

My experience with Del Webb was really astonishing. It was beyond expectations. From the start of the sales process, picking everything out which was easily done on the computer with my salesman, to the build phase and finally closing, things were completed on time, on budget and with a close eye to quality. I originally looked at a custom builder for $1.6M, but with Del Webb got a beautiful house with similar SF and finishes at a much more reasonable price. They really have home building down to a science. When it was a week out from closing, their quality review brought in the subs in an all-hands-on-deck approach including the cleaners. Everything went well . Happy with our new home

Everyone in the process from sales to warranty have been very professional and helpful.

The process for design and layout went very smooth. Robert was terrific to work with in sales center. Mary was also a jewel in helping with design decisions. Our first builder Tim was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Shane our 2nd builder was new to the job, but did his best. There needed to be more attention to finishes, painting, sanding, cleaning, concrete and concrete work .

Very poor workmanship on finishing work. Grout color is different throughout the house. Tile in Owner's bath is crooked and cracked. A cabinet in the kitchen is crooked. Front door and garage door not fully painted. Baseboards look like they are used. As of today, we have received "lip service" that everything will be fixed. The trades are scheduled to come May 24 & 25 to address these major issues. Time will tell if our home will be "a quality build."

The house is still not completed , I closed March 29, Door bell is still not working, some painting not finished as of yet. My keys have not been fitted for just me yet since builder still needs to be able to get into house. I have not moved in full time as of now, loan process with Pultee was not the best, was questioned after closing regarding my fence which Pultee arranged to be include in build, it was picked out during the design phase of the process Doesn't seem like Del Webb and Pultee communicate to each other like they should. Del Webb had no idea I was getting a fence when Pultee and the design people for the house made all the arrangements. ... More

Jill, our salesperson, was fantastic. She explained the whole process to us and was available anytime to answer any questions. Our Field Manager Jarod kept us up to date with start times and completion dates throughout all of the building process. After our on time closing Pulte warranty has taken care of a few minor issues in an extremely timely manner. I would definitely build with Pulte again.

From our first encounter with Del Webb we have been impressed. Chad, our sales person, was always available to answer questions and help us navigate the process. Al, our construction manager, was the best. He and Daniel were always so helpful and patient. We hired an independent inspector to evaluate the house before the slab was poured, before the dry wall went up and after completion. He was very complimentary of Pulte's processes and execution. We're so excited about our new home and look forward to making many memories here!!!

The house is built fairly well. However, the attention given to the finishing details is poor. Our punch list is very long and after 2 months our house is still littered with blue tape showing the defects yet to be corrected. Upgrades, although costly are about medium grade .

Plan on a good bit of stress throughout the process and after you move in with callbacks, lack of responses and poor follow up repairs. Not poor quality but not what you expect for what you paid.
