I had a wonderful experience in the purchase of my new home. The attention to detail is/was fantastic. The home was fairly priced, and I feel that I got a great value.

Buying process is well explained.

Love the floor plan and the community.

Construction managers and sales consultant were very easy to work with.

As much as possible, follow the process closely. Write down any and all issues and share with your construction manager. Then follow up on the issues you shared to be sure they were resolved to your satisfaction. If you cannot be present during the building process, request frequent pictures of the progress so you can gauge what is happening.

dry wall to thin. suggest to double thickness of drywall and rather charge a little more for what would be a big improvement.

One issue was the bathroom. The shower door hit the door when opened so changed door to an accordion door. Superficial cracks on back patio had to be filled in.

Build quality is good. As with anything purchased that is a product of an assembly line manufacturing process, there will be issues. The Pulte group seems to be on top of any issues by prompt & so far, conscientious attention to issues brought to their attention. Feedback from issues reported is used to head off future construction issues. IF you don't report the issue it will not be rectified & Pulte will not be able to improve the product, YOUR home!

Overall 4.5 rating. Our Project Manger was outstanding keeping us informed and reacting and taking care of construction issues.

Overall, we're happy with our new Del Webb home. There are a few fit and finish issues that are currently being resolved. Nothing major and the kind of thing one should expect.

Attention to detail is impressive as is communication and responsiveness during construction. Upgrades and options are pricey but worth the expense if they meet your needs. Quality of bathroom fixtures disappointing.

Overall good responsiveness, good customer service. Prices are high in California, so we are unsure about the value of buying a house here.

Sales consultant was very informative and our house came with great incentives. The senior construction manager was fantastic all through the process, what ever concerns we had were dealt with in a cordial and professional manner. He has been awesome! We are very happy with our home, and we would recommend Del Webb Sun City Texas to anyone.

If you're building new, hire a Home Inspector before closing, or better yet hire and Inspector during the build process. It will save time down the road.

Del Webb homes are a good value for the money from a builder who has vast experience and resources in building new home communities. The quality of their direct employees is very high and they are responsive to homeowner concerns as they arise. Evidently there is a bit more flexibility in considering homeowner requested modifications during the building process than you are led to believe at the beginning.

My wife and I fully enjoyed the build process. Our field manager did a fantastic job addressing our questions and concerns. We would do it again.

I loved working with the Del Webb. Paul & Judy did a fine job on building but their financial services leave a little bit to be desired.

Honest and open about details of buying into this development.

We were thoroughly guided through the lot selection process. We were kept apprised of building progress through weekly picture updates. We had 2 phone meetings and one Facetime meeting with our building supervisor, who thoroughly answered all our questions. We felt confident that the building process was going well, even though we were unable to come to Florida to see the construction in progress. We did feel that the upgrade selections were quite limited and overpriced, but wanted our new home to be built so that we would not have to change out anything once we moved in. Our need to complete the design process while here selecting the lot was graciously accommodated. We have been in our new home for 6 weeks now, and everything is working as it should be. Pulte was very easy to work with and we are pleased with their service.

Our assigned Construction Field Manager was Exceptionally good. He was professional, informative and addressed our concerns along the entire way.

The entire experience with our Del Webb home has been great. The representatives were always available and knowledgeable about every question we had, were never rushed, and if we had requests for changes no matter how trivial they may have seemed (e.g. light switch location) they were accommodating. They assigned one person to be our daily contact through the build process and had regular meetings with us at the house to walk us through each phase. Though we haven't had to use any warranty services as we've found no issues in our first couple of months, we have met the warranty representative who came by the house to meet us and give us all contact information should we need it. The only reasons for the 4 star vs 5 star is the home is more expensive than comparable non-Del Webb neighborhoods, but we were willing to pay to be in this community, and it has been worth it. The other 4 vs 5 is due to them still working through some of the subcontractors that aren't top of the line. We are enjoying becoming new members of the Del Webb Community. This is the first home we had built out of the seven previous homes owned. Workmanship is not what it has been in the past, but the staff has been Great helping find solutions to correct small defects.

They do what they tell you they would do in a timely manner!!
