Delivered on time what I purchased in a pandemic. No shortages and that was amazing. My construction foreman jumped through hoops to make it happen. Rating would have been 5 Stars had it not been for the poor paint work that needed much rework.

This was a great experience working with all the different groups(sales, design, mortgage and building construction). All groups were very responsive to questions and concerns.

I recently purchased my house and I am very satisfied with the house. There are a few things that could be improved on....placing of the furnace in the attic isn't the best idea, (was used as a space saver idea but really having a 55+ person pulling the attic ladder down & climbing up the ladder to replace the filter in the furnace needs to be rethought out), also placing the attic ladder in the master bedroom closet was placed extremely close to the clothes rack so blouses,dresses, or pants can't be hung...you have to move them before pulling down the attic ladder, then there isn't any place to hang hand towels or wash cloths next to the sink in the master bathroom. Up grades are expensive. Cable tv has to have a outlet at every location you want a set all is not wireless. Field managers are very helpful.

The process was quicker than expected and they kept us on pace to meet the deadlines. I wish there where a few more options on finishes.

This is my 4th new construction home in my lifetime. Liz was my sales agent. She is awesome. I was surprised at Pulte’s pricing for upgrades. I would recommend a third party inspection prior to closing. Everett really made the difference so we could get my home completed for closing. The Del Webb The Woodlands neighbors and community are fantastic!

Although my sales lady Lisa & site manager David were terrific but unfortunately I was quite dissatisfied with multiple employees I turned to for assistance on correcting that our home & a neighbor’s mortgage were recorded on our property. We closed on 12/17/2020 & Our home was not successfully recorded until 2/2/2021. I would like to discuss these 2 issues (water bill & recording deed with the appropriate senior official. Obviously, I cannot recommend the otherwise well done closing because the deed was not recorded & I had to find out it wasn’t recorded myself.

Pulte homes is a great constructor. Very good experience overall.

Beautiful home, wonderful quite surroundings. Be mindful of the fact that if you don’t upgrade certain features, e.g., the paint, the product will not be top shelf. Plan on spending as much as 15-20% above the purchase price for various upgrades. Still a great value though. I wish we had been given a warning about the fact that our mail service would not commence until some arbitrary date, i.e., when the HOA decides to give the Post Office the go ahead. We had to find this out the hard way. There is construction going on by us, not that much, but it should not impede mail delivery. We have to make our semi-weekly pilgrimage to the Post Office, which is not ideal in these COVID-affected times. ... More

Build a good house

My field manager was fantastic until she quit abruptly on the day of walk through and left me hanging. Due to holidays another field manager was not assigned for 2 weeks. Since it was the holiday the warranty office was short staffed. The issues and repairs that should have been taken care of before closing was not handled for over 30+ days. Stone Creek has beautiful landscaping every where except the Nottingham retention area where my home backs up to a muddy retention area. Yes I knew I was buying on a retention area, but I was assured they would do a better job at the beatification of the area. Its a muddy mess that has garbage flying around. I watched 3 men from the lawn company sit out there for hours and never bothered to pick up one piece of garbage. My salesman was good, the field manager was awesome until she quit, the follow up was ok, the title company needs help with communication of trusts, the insurance company is very slow to follow up with obtaining a policy, the quality of construction for the value is phenomenal. very fair minded organization so far

The people associated with Pulte from the sales team to the field managers are all very helpful, personable and easy to work with. We purchased our house and lot during Covid19, sight unseen from 1000 miles away and it was the easiest home we have had built to date. We worked with a designer online using facetime to choose our cabinets, counter tops, flooring, etc... and our sales rep. gave us good advice on what features and options to go with. He also sent us photos of the construction process each week and answered any questions or concerns that we had. Our only complaint is it took longer to build then expected, 5 months from start of construction and 8 months from our order date. Overall however, a very favorable experience. ... More

Homes are basically built very well, but at the same time they go up fast. Home buyers are given ample opportunity to stay abreast of plans, changes, and overall progress. COVID-19 has affected some aspects, and we wish we could have somehow "gotten the jump" on things like landscaping and window coverings so they could get started near closing. But no regrets here!

The overall construction and value is great. The detail work was a little disappointing as I've started seeing things. Tape adhesive remains across much of the vinyl. Some nail holes on door frames not filled. The paint job was terrible. As we painted, we found areas of the walls where there was no paint! Also pain spatters on the vinyl and window glass. Some poor drywall work, nothing super obvious. I've cleaned everything except the tape residue.

The various teams have been great to work with and have continued to go out of their way to address our questions and issues that have arisen in a timely manner. Our primary concern to date is the lack of care in much of the finish work. Luckily, they have been quite responsive in addressing the issues, it's just disappointing that those items weren't done with care in the first place.

I enjoyed working with the sales department. Working with the field managers can be trying as they like telling and not listening.

If you’re looking for a truly custom home, pick a different builder. If you’re OK choosing from available builder floor plans and available builder design and decor options, then you’ll enjoy your experience. Just don’t ask to move a wall or choose a custom paint color they don’t offer. The answer is,”no.” And if you have any sense of modern style, be prepared to change out every light fixture In the house after closing. The builder options are very bland, even the upgraded ones. The sales team and the construction team are quite friendly and very responsive. But their hands are tied by corporate, when it comes to any nonstandard requests. The neighborhood and neighbors are great, and will make for a fun and comfortable retirement. ... More
