We are very happy with our home. It seems to be built very well. However, Pulte Homes does a LOUSY job with the lawn. It’s not rolled and it’s so lumpy I’m going to have to have a load of dirt brought in to even it out.

Not a custom builder at all

We are very satisfied so far. Everyone has treated us like family.

This home is very nice. I guess I expected a fridge in the package. The only complaint is this is an over 65 community and in the master bathroom there is NO medicine cabinet. Most of us take medicine and it is really inconvenient to keep under the vanity in a box. That is really bad. Also the master closet could be bigger and the laundry room a little smaller. Other than that it has been a good experience.

Eddy Huncherick did an outstanding job in helping us navigate the building process.

Good selection of models. Good communication from purchase through warranty work. Jacob was very good at keeping us updated with information and photos. He was accomodating to our requests to visit with some after market vendors prior to closing. Angie checked in out us and our progress. Nikki was so very helpful and patient on our selection day. Getting options in advance was very helpful. Your new selections available in January were what helped make our decision. We wanted the space but not a second floor. The issues we have found after closing so far has been fixed to our satisfaction and in a very timely manner. Some of these things should have been correct the first time around , but Debbie has been very responsive in getting things made right. ... More

We signed the contract to build our home in late February pre-pandemic. Despite the COVID challenges, our home was completed on time. There remain a few issues to be resolved, but for the most part everyone has been responsive.

workmanship could use improvement

We love the finished product and had good relations with all staff we worked with. However, we were very disappointed in the attention to detail and the level of cleanliness of the property at closing. There are paint spatters throughout the driveway, sidewalk, and front porch as well as stains on our screen porch floor. The garage has clumps of drywall throughout along with paint splatters.

This is the third new construction home we have bought (lived in the others 8 years and 35 years), and this Del Webb home has the highest quality workmanship of the three houses - solidly built, did not cut corners. Problems (not many) were fixed quickly after the walk through. So we were impressed with the construction process. The loan and design processes were a bit confusing. We had to pick the structural upgrades first, then the design upgrades. When we picked the structural upgrades, we had no clue on what design upgrades we could have and how much each would cost, so there was no way to apportion our available funds to the two categories. Their design center and designer were very helpful. The design web page (which we heard they were re-doing) was difficult to navigate around and did not provide complete information. We found their loan process confusing (who did what and why we had to submit the same documents multiple times and the timetable of what we should expect when). I believe that Del Webb knows what they are doing as they build all these 55+ communities. They know what people are looking for and enjoy. They work with reputable companies that know how to keep the building process on schedule. I only noticed that a few of the items I paid extra for were done cheaply (such as, plastic lights in the ceiling).

Building was performed on schedule even during the pandemic. Overall we are happy with the results.

The builders were very responsive to my questions and identification of issues.

It would be great if the workers took better care to do the job right the first time. Then we wouldn't have had to have so many things redone to get them right. Yes, all issues were fixed and resolved in a timely manner.

Some obvious errors missed by managers before we moved in. Also, the Design of MB water closet is a JOKE!

I love my new house and I would expect there to be problems. Dell Webb has been responsive to all my concerns thus far. I have some unresolved problems that I’m hoping to have taken care of fairly quickly. As I cannot tell you how well they did in resolving these newer problems, I can say that I have no reason to believe they will not be handled in a timely manner. All in all, I think I have a great house and purchased it at a great price.

The overall experience with buying my home in DelWebb was very good and I am happy to be able to live in this great community. I’m happy with the house construction and interior finishing. Except for all the painting on the woodwork and doors, it is very sloppy with lumps of paint and spots without any paint. I do get very aggravated every time I look at it.

Happy with Community Atmosphere

Lacking in attention to details like trim work, light fixtures. Once notified, very good at fixing the problems.
