Good selection of models. Good communication from purchase through warranty work. Jacob was very good at keeping us updated with information and photos. He was accomodating to our requests to visit with some after market vendors prior to closing. Angie checked in out us and our progress. Nikki was so very helpful and patient on our selection day. Getting options in advance was very helpful. Your new selections available in January were what helped make our decision. We wanted the space but not a second floor. The issues we have found after closing so far has been fixed to our satisfaction and in a very timely manner. We built in Tidewater, Estero, Florida. Great experience with the Pulte staff. The product is excellent.

Plan on going over budget at design center

The builder team was very good.

We signed the contract to build our home in late February pre-pandemic. Despite the COVID challenges, our home was completed on time. There remain a few issues to be resolved, but for the most part everyone has been responsive.

Quality products still being offered on home construction. However their workmanship level has diminished when it comes to actual installation of those products. Built a home in same community five years ago and had absolutely no issues during construction phase. With the second home built in 2020, had to constantly bring up issues during construction; missed options, options I did not select, quality of installations on tile, drywall, cabinets, etc. Very, very different unexpected experience. I chose to come back to Sun City Peach Tree because of the first building experience so was completely taken by surprise on this second build. Would still live here but be prepared to watch closely how the house is built during construction. ... More

workmanship could use improvement

The whole process was easy. I lived and worked 2 hours away...I still felt connected to the build process. Project manager supplied pictures weekly to keep me informed. Great experience.

We are pleased with our home. We liked all the models and felt that they were well designed, but the Steel Creek was the right one for us. This is our first new home, so the experience -especially during these times of Covid- was a bit daunting. However, the team at Del Webb helped us every step of the way. At all times they were caring, thoughtful, and professional. We are so grateful for their support!

Everyone we delt with was helpfull and did whatever they could to keep us updated.

We love the finished product and had good relations with all staff we worked with. However, we were very disappointed in the attention to detail and the level of cleanliness of the property at closing. There are paint spatters throughout the driveway, sidewalk, and front porch as well as stains on our screen porch floor. The garage has clumps of drywall throughout along with paint splatters.

Very nice community. Very different from other Del Webb communities, not as lush. Landscaping isn’t as nice as other 55+ communities in Port St Lucie, and clubhouse is small with social hall building many years out yet. But still very nice place to live.

I will start out by saying I love my new home. It was being built when I lived 3,000 miles away. In hindsight, I wish I was closer to check out the process, but with COVID-19, that was not possible. I hired a Home Inspector and he found quite a few things that weren't completed by the workers, were not done properly or need repair like faulty windows. I would never have known that these things were wrong, so I recommend having your home inspected, even though it is new. All the repairs/corrections should be covered under my first year warranty and I will be submitting the list once I get the report back. So far, my Customer Service Site person has been great in setting up what I found and I am confident that she will be helpful with what I have to add. This is a bit of an inconvenience, but as long as the builder makes it right, I'll live with the inconvenience. ... More

For the most part we’re pretty pleased

We bought a home that had fallen out of escrow and the sales team had us convinced the sale price was reduced twice and we were getting a great deal. The appraisal came in $10K below the selling price so I asked three times for a price adjustment. Each time the response was they would need to run it by the manager, but no one ever gave us an answer to our request. Otherwise the sale went smoothly. The sales staff is knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Everyone has been attentive after the sale and they are very good about warranty repairs and follow-up. If you order the standard Whirlpool dishwasher, expect your contents to be only partially dry, even with the high temp dry and a rinse aid. A whirlpool technician sent to correct the problem attributes it to plastic materials instead of steel. They can't achieve a complete dry.

This is the third new construction home we have bought (lived in the others 8 years and 35 years), and this Del Webb home has the highest quality workmanship of the three houses - solidly built, did not cut corners. Problems (not many) were fixed quickly after the walk through. So we were impressed with the construction process. The loan and design processes were a bit confusing. We had to pick the structural upgrades first, then the design upgrades. When we picked the structural upgrades, we had no clue on what design upgrades we could have and how much each would cost, so there was no way to apportion our available funds to the two categories. Their design center and designer were very helpful. The design web page (which we heard they were re-doing) was difficult to navigate around and did not provide complete information. We found their loan process confusing (who did what and why we had to submit the same documents multiple times and the timetable of what we should expect when). All in all, Del Webb built us a very nice home with a good floor plan that we are very happy living in. ... More

Love the layout of the house. Neighborhood is lush and green. Even with Covid, neighbors are friendly when you meet them outside. Only problem is lack of storage, but I've heard everyone has this problem. Plan for this when you build, especially if you are used to having a basement.

I believe that Del Webb knows what they are doing as they build all these 55+ communities. They know what people are looking for and enjoy. They work with reputable companies that know how to keep the building process on schedule. I only noticed that a few of the items I paid extra for were done cheaply (such as, plastic lights in the ceiling).

I have lived in my new home for 5 weeks. I'm happy with the quality and workmanship. There were a few issues but they were minor. I would recommend Del Webb to my friends.

Love my new home and am very pleased with it. Have found a few minor issues with our new home but they were either quickly fixed or we fixed them ourselves. Truly believe it is a great benefit to be close while the house is being built and check on it at least once a week. We found several issues during the building that were quickly fixed. If they had not been pointed out by us would they have been caught in time to fix or caught at all? It appears at times that the subcontractor is more concerned with just completing the task and moving on the next house vice actually caring for the quality of his work. ... More

When we had a question we often did not receive a call back ASAP.

This was the first house we built. The construction manager - Chris P. was FANTASTIC and frankly saved it for us. We wound up having to settle for some stuff we did not want and did not get some things we had wanted.
