I always recommend the Del Webb communities to family and friends.

From our tour of the models to moving in has been a great experience. Our construction manager Andrew was always reachable and was a great “hand holder” as I was a bit needy at times. (Ha) Moving is hard .. but we’re happy to have landed here!!!

I do not blame the delays on Del Webb, they were the fault of our politicians. However, even several months after moving in, my oven is not completely installed and the hot water recirculating is not working. The contractors have generally been very responsive. This is except the plumbers. They have repeatedly lied, missed appointments, and have not resolved the problem.

It was down to the wire that my house was ready but it did close on time. The people I worked with were great and it was an easy experience. I have not been impressed with the quality of products used to build the house. I don’t think they are quality that the price of the house should warrant. I have had a horrible experience with my side yard. There is a drainage problem and it stays wet on that side and my side is totally wrecked due to the mowers going through it which has created huge ruts. I have been promised it will be corrected and I hope that it is corrected properly. I also have not been pleased with the landscaping. Plants are not buried deep enough and the red clay shows. Weed control has not been good. There are a lot of very unattractive poles and other items sticking out of the ground. And was told they would be removed. I know this sounds negative and I am serious about the complaints; however, I love my house and am happy here. People are very nice and friendly. ... More

Wasn't as great as I expected

Del Webb builds Beautiful homes within an INCREDIBLE environment that will bring JOY to your heart each day!!! We felt catered to at Del Webb Stone Creek throughout the whole process from the start with our wonderful Del Webb Realtor, Darren, through our caring Building Manager, Jack, offering guidance and kindness throughout :-) We are thankful to ALL who helped in creating a positive experience and would highly recommend others to Del Webb Communities!

I would not recommend Del Webb Bayview due to bad experiences with head of sales, field manager and lack of response to fix warranty items. While I know there are somethings out of control such as availability of supplies, but the lack of response and lack of accountability to complete tasks is infuriating. All the members of this community are frustrated. I wouldn't recommend building in this community. They are not organized and highly unresponsive.

Good quality build materials, finished quicker than expected, consciousness sales staff

I would have liked to have more input as the build progressed.

I finally moved in on July 15 of this year. I am still working on getting issues resolved. I am very frustrated with how long this process is taking and response times. Even when tickets were scheduled some contractors just didn’t show up and did not bother to contact me. This whole experience has not been a positive one for me.

Rude, non responsive builder on my house.

We had a great experience with Scott, our salesperson. We continue to get a very quick response on any issues we have. We're very happy in our new neighborhood!

The quality of sod is different from house to house, I don't know why. Surveys were submitted very soon after the papers were signed, and now have found several mistakes, the survey should be sent out weeks after someone moves in order to get an accurate response.

A lot of probably moved in here July 5 , Communication problem with the work that supposed to be done. at my walk through and a lot of things weren’t done they told me it would be done right away after two months nothing is done. a lot of texting emails A lot of talk no action they told me a Gentlemen be in touch with the five working days were already past eight and there’s been no conversation yet. when is the work going to be done?????? I feel like company doesn’t really care but they took my money with no problem I pay cash, so if you guys really care about my review have somebody call me one of the bosses and I could tell them what you’re doing wrong down here they don’t care about the people. Honestly I think the surveys not gonna do anything anyway have a real boss give me a call so we can talk about this can imagine I have a thermostat for my hot water heater so my water is not hot the shower they knew this at the time but nobody told me , have a real boss give me a call so we can resolve , maybe they can set up a meeting I have all the homeowners meet you guys and tell you what’s going on.good luck to me ... I signed with lots of outstanding issues, but didn't want interest rates to increase. Issues include lack of electricity to appliances, holes in walls, doors not closing or locking, etc. The list is 20+ items long.

Sloppy work inside and outside. What first appeared to be small cosmetic problems soon turned into major concerns, because there were so many. I am still waiting for some issues to be resolved, especially the two colors of brick mortar. My expectation was much higher, especially for a “newly built home”.

The carftmenship on this home is terrible. the builder went as cheap as is could and stay in codei

My wife and l purchased a home in Carolina Gardens in NC. The overall process went smoothly as possible given that it was a remote sale. Upon it s completion we were extremely satisfied with the result. Our construction manager, David was very instrumental in making this so. David was personable, competent and responsive. He addressed to our satisfaction all of our questions and concerns regarding the build. He also addressed some minor issues which arose after closing. We are grateful to him. I would highly recommend a Del Webb home.

I cannot recommend living in this community. The model home is lovely. This home and site is not what I expected in a home , certainly in this price range. My manager was able to give attention to my requests in the time allotted for the nessary

These homes are put out so quickly that not even the paint jobs are finished before closing. There are so many areas that need to be addressed it's quite infuriating for the amount of money I spent to own this home. There is not one home in this development that was move in ready without a list of issues..They just spit them out and you are waiting and hoping for a reply to address the problems.

Very disappointed with quality and organization.

The home we had Pulte build and we bought two months ago was not move-in ready. It looked ready during our 20 min walk through prior to closing. Once we were in the house the next day, we realized the dishwasher wasn't securely attached and the cabinets have since been falling apart. We had a list of 32 items that needed attention and repair. We did receive follow-up to look at the issues and resolve.

In general we are good with our home purchase. Several construction issues after closing have been solved in a relatively quickly manner. One important topic that drives our opinion's was the fact that one month after closing, the other homes in the community started to being discounted by the seller. This gave us an impression that the price was inflated before and the house does not have a strong value for the future.

This has been a very sad difficult experience. No one seems to care about fixing problems.
