My wife and l purchased a home in Carolina Gardens in NC. The overall process went smoothly as possible given that it was a remote sale. Upon it s completion we were extremely satisfied with the result. Our construction manager, David was very instrumental in making this so. David was personable, competent and responsive. He addressed to our satisfaction all of our questions and concerns regarding the build. He also addressed some minor issues which arose after closing. We are grateful to him. I would highly recommend a Del Webb home.

In general we are good with our home purchase. Several construction issues after closing have been solved in a relatively quickly manner. One important topic that drives our opinion's was the fact that one month after closing, the other homes in the community started to being discounted by the seller. This gave us an impression that the price was inflated before and the house does not have a strong value for the future.

Salesman Jerry, excellent. Came in on day off to accommodate our schedules. Construction Superintendent Blaze did great job of keeping home on schedule & keeping us informed.

The last week waiting for my CO was very stressful but it got done. My first week was a nightmare as the first couple days had a flood in front of house and blue mulch surrounded it all over walkway. Sprinkler head was broken and we had to try and get water from getting into home with a big broom. I called warranty and Ben came right over. He addressed the issue immediately and had all new mulch put in. It was unexceptionable when I did my walkthrough to have painted blue mulch. I had other issues on my list that I had a hard time getting done but Ben came through again. He is amazing with new homeowners and go over and above. Thanks to Angela for setting appts. And Pam stepped in at the end as she took Adams place. Thankyou all for making me after 5 weeks be happy in my dream home. ... More

I paid for the highest level kitchen and the cabinets, counters and appliances all have issues. The heart of my home is less than stellar. Woodsman kitchens are horrible to work with because they divide their departments and is impossible to get them to focus on ALL kitchen issues

Jared was an excellent construction manager, he was always responsive to my concerns and kept me updated throughout the home building process.

We are very happy with our new home. Great neighbors and very cute houses. Employees here are very nice.

To start with, I love my home. What I didn't care to much for was when my construction manager changed 4 months after signing the paperwork, not much was discussed about it. The weekly calls were no more. I had to do more follow up. Some of the workmanship needs better screening. Cleanup of the home was poor. So poor that I had to hire an outside company to clean the tile that was dirty and stained from the crew ripping up the paper on the floor and walking their muddy shoes all over it. The bones of the house - excellent. But I am truly happy with my home. I would recommend the builder but watch out for the cleaning crew. ... More

My Sales Representative, Rita, was very informative and was always helpful with anything needed to complete the sale. I ended up with three different Building Managers and they all were available to answer any questions or concerns I had during the building process. The house was started and completed on schedule. There are a few items that need addressing that have gone passed the first 30 days and the warranty department is now working to get them addressed. The DelWebb community is a very nice place to live.

My experience with Pulte, has been a good one. The sales staff and the design team were so helpful with all of the decisions that needed to be made, and Josh, my construction manager, was great. He kept me informed on the progress as well as the reasons for any delays in the building process, which was very much appreciated. Since I have moved in, Chris, my customer care manager, has addressed every question and every issue that has come up. There have been very few things, but he has handled each one in record time. The builder working with the buyer didn’t really happen until the end but it all worked out and the house is great!

The Del Webb new home buying experience would have been only three stars based on the extended time required, due to product availability, to complete the house. We increased the rating to 4 stars due to the building manager, James, who is outstanding in his follow up and making certain any issues were addressed and corrected. This is our third Pulte house and overall, we are very pleased with Pulte and our purchases.

My consultant, Danelle, was great. She kept me up date with the progress of construction with pictures. She returned phone calls promptly. I received no communications from construction managers during the whole process like they promised. Very disappointed with that.

Despite the ratings above, I would buy a Del Webb home again, though maybe not a new build. I believe the house is well built overall, but that the finishing of the house was extremely rushed and contractors were not given the proper time to do the job right. The biggest issue with my house is paint, both inside and out. The paint on the inside only has a very thin coat and the metal corner bracing and drywall mud is showing through. Along with that, the paint is breaking down; ie. cracking in the corners, crazing on the walls and subsequently chipping off in spots. Del Webb is sending workers in to repair my items, but when a house essentially needs to be re-painted and they are only working in 2 hour increments, it is going to take a while. Know that even though we were coming up on the year mark for this build, we were not asking Del Webb to hurry this build, we were fine with waiting, but for some reason they rushed the job at the end. My best advice for anyone buying a Del Webb is this. Upgrade the paint if you can get it and afford it. Find a way to visit your new home at least once a month, our sales person sent us pictures, but the things we are having issues with needed to be seen up close. If you decide to buy a home in Mesquite, get Danelle as your sales agent. She works in the Del Webb sales center and is excellent at her job and responding to her clients. She is the reason we chose Del Webb in Mesquite, NV. Overall we are happy with our purchase and can’t wait to move in. We just wished the finishing aspects of the house were done properly the first time and that Del Webb would reinstate the celebration walkthrough that is shown in the videos on line. I have a quality built home, and was well supported by all divisions of Pulte involved in the construction and financing.

The construction process from start to finish was over a year. While that was to be expected, there were 3 different building supervisors during that time. My only comment would be that the scheduling was not the best.

We had been looking in Jimmy Buffet's Latitudes communities which were all outside of Texas for an over 55 community when we found Del Webb. The Del Webb home designs, features of the community with the lakes, walking trails are what sold us on this location. We are extremely happy with our decision. The design and quality of materials is great. The workmanship finishing quality is no better than a low end builder. Lots of errors, installation damage that had to be corrected. The construction manager and customer care managers have been fantastic and very responsive. They have worked really hard to make things right. We visited the site every week creating a punch list and all of the items were corrected weekly. I have no doubt that in the end the remaining build quality errors will have been corrected. Overall a good experience and no catastrophic problems. The communication has been excellent and would recommend both Pulte and Dell Webb. ... More

Tim is A GREAT FIELD MANGER. Also Shannon is A GREAT WARRANTY maager. both these men responded to my request during the building process (Tim) and after the closed of the house (Shannon) is still working with us on the warranty issues. Ifeel Tim and Shannon are a ASSET to the Pulte Group.

Normally, new house closings get delayed. COVID added significantly to those delays for a total of six months after the original estimated closing date. The construction supervisors were/are run ragged trying to get things done on time. Some options were dropped between option selection and construction, but Pulte fixed them later. We love everything about our new house and Pulte has committed to fix the remaining problems.

We love our DW Dunwoody Home plan, our location and amenities offered. We are so thankful for our latest construction manager Rob who has handled our home issues with amazing response times and follow ups.

The Pulte employee's were great to deal with. The sub-contractors do sub-par and sloppy work.

Overall the house was built to our specs. The lot and area are as advertised. We understand that these homes are constructed several at a time, and this sometimes can cause rush jobs that may not be as good as could be. We understand that and accept that. But...we feel the workmanship with things such as caulking, cleanup, door hanging, tile floor installation, and other issues did not meet our expectations. And, we feel it was not up to the quality Pulte Homes advertises.

We had 30 to 40 things on our punch list after our inspection. Our project manager got them all done before closing. And our one month inspection there were four items to be fixed and they were all scheduled immediately. The house is excellent. Of course there are three or four things in the architectural design that we wish were slightly altered, but overall a really great house.

I love this new home.
