very poor repair service wont return calls

Experience could have been a lot less frustrating. Some things were unexpected and could have been handled differently. We are finally moved in and things are settling down.

Unfortunately, I don’t have much good to say. The frustration experienced with expecting a quality build and getting less than that is terrible, especially when it’s next to impossible to get anything taken care of after closing. Response time, or rather lack of response is so unprofessional, and as a new homeowner who was assured I would be taken care of, quite more than disappointing. It’s like things were slapped together by trades last minute to get to closing and now that’s all being exposed and no one wants to claim responsibility or take care of anything. Delays.. blaming COVID still. Always using the phase this is not a custom home.. great I get that but this is an expensive home that should have quality cabinetry.. Pulte choose the LOW end on the cabinets and it shows.. biggest complaint is with oak craft cabinets.. and the grout used in showers not matching.. where should you spend you money in the kitchen and bath!! Why cut cost there only to have to come back and fix it.. why not do it proper the first time.. I believe you should stop selling homes and fix the existing properties you have on the books. It would go along In customer care

Be prepared to be patient the process takes a while there's a lot of ends and a lot of outs and a lot of paper work to be filled out a lot of things that you need to resubmit and submit but it all works for your good so be patient wait and it will come through I did and I'm grateful Ron.

My home is beautiful and we love it. Finish work lacks craftsmanship and subcontractors expect non construction experienced home buyers to evaluate if and what problems there are. Results would be somewhat acceptable if I had paid 65% of the price I actually did pay. DO THE FOLLOWING BEFORE YOU CLOSE: Hire an independent home inspection; Check your excitement at the door and look at the house without blinders; Don't hand over the cash, don't close, until the house is right; Get familiar with legal remedies and arbitration; Get what you pay for.

Generally very pleased but your follow-up to issues and punch list items is TERRIBLE!!!! This is the feeling among everyone I have met. Know you have many houses to build but PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THOSE OF US WHO HAVE COMPLETEDTHE PURCHASE PROCESS

house was not finished at closing ,punch list was partially done and then moved to warranty......good luck :(

It took a while to finally move into our new home, but the wait was worth it. Our construction supervisor JL kept us informed on the progress and handled all of our concerns. Our sales representative Jocelyn took care of all the paperwork issues and was really pleasant to work with. We love our new home.

Keep an eye on the workmanship!

Ian was an amazing salesperson. Professional and responsive. Jamie was an excellent construction manager. Very thorough. I loved the design suggestions from Prya.

2 months after closing, still waiting for dishwasher. Have no glass in master shower bath. Multiple issues with granite countertops. Cabinets misaligned, handles crooked. Took 5 months to replace broken window. Oven has been repaired 3 times already. Concrete patio is a mess. Plastic towel racks. Wrong lighting fixtures were installed (corrected). Weeks go by with no communication on issues.

The young man, Hesham, who did the walk throughs with me was fantastic. He made sure that everything I mentioned as needing to be fixed was completed asap. Even after I moved in whenever I had a question I called him and he was right there to help.

We have had multiple quality related issues particularly with finish work. We are on the 5th crew to get problems fixed over a 2 month period and the issues aren’t resolved. Our lawn looks like they planted mostly weeds and DW/pulte is not timely addressing this problem. We would not recommend buying from DW/Pulte.

Our field manager was excellent. More informative information from the sales office would have been appreciated since we were out of state buyers. More frequent updates would have helped us understand the numerous closing date delays.

Very positive experience. Matt was knowledgeable and responsive to my needs. I highly recommend him as a builder.

As is the case in any large purchase, there are issues that come up. The resolution of these issues is what differentiates Pulte from the rest of the pack. I was very impressed by Madina's commitment to resolve and advocate on our behalf to work out a solution that was mutually beneficial to both parties. In addition, there were supply chain issues with our floor and we needed to change the floor. Another floor was chosen and even though the new floor was an upgrade and more expensive, we were not charged the difference. Pulte is a company that demonstrates appreciation of its customers! The sales experience was great but would have liked more information/instruction on the smart home options. Building process was good but rushed at the end. Not everything was done before we walked our home before closing.

I'm going to put my comments into context of purchasing and building home during an extremely challenging time of Covid, supply chain issues and labor shortages. Our home took exactly one year to construct. Pre-Covid homes were built within 5-7 months. With that said, we were surprised at the lack of quality of materials and craftsmanship for a home in our price range. The attention to detail was lacking, simple mistakes would not have been corrected unless we brought it to the attention of Pulte and the quality of materials was well below our expectations. In particular, the cabinetry was far below standards we enjoyed in the Midwest homes we have built and lived in throughout the decades. Pulte needs to completely rethink its approach to the quality of cabinetry they put into these homes. Clearly they are trying to maximize profit over quality. Our first construction manager was a very poor communicator and ended up leaving the company. His replacement was actually quite good and gave us the best level of communication we had throughout the process. Pulte senior management should have communicated far more than they did throughout the building crisis in 2021 and 2022. All we received were an occasional "form letter" eMail about the wonderful experience of building a Pulte home. Instead of proactively reaching out to their customers to let us know what the challenges were with delays, supply chain problems and labor shortages, they hid behind their construction managers to do all of the dirty work and tough communication about delays and shortages. In our community Pulte also stated they were not going to build any additional golf courses or amenities. This would put our community greatly behind other Del Webb communities in terms of the number of golf holes per homes, amenities per home, etc. There is a significant grass roots effort in our community to force Pulte to live up to what they promised their customers through advertising and sales pitches throughout the years. Despite our frustrations with the building process, we hear worse stories from people we've met who built in other communities with other builders. Do your homework before you buy. In the end, it's the people we meet in the community that will make our experience good and hopefully the pain of the construction process will fade over time. ... More

Nocatee Del Webb is a sweet spot in NE Florida! Because of that it was rather frustrating to purchase and build. After a very long process… I have to say we’re very happy with our new Del Webb home!

This is the 4th Pulte home I've lived in. We went with Pulte because we've always had pretty good luck with this builder. Sadly I haven't had a good experience with this home. Everything was behind schedule by months costing us a lot of additional money. The workmanship was shoddy. I'm still finding glue and paint spots on the floor, cabinet mitered corners are an eye-sore, it's hard to get hot water in the kitchen, the cabinets were full of sawdust when I moved in, the edges of some of my doors are chewed-up, just to name a few issues. I brought it to the attention of the staff and the only response I got was that's just the way it is. (and Covid, lack of workers, etc... excuses for the reality of over-selling in a hot market). This reminds me of when Pulte got kicked out of Michigan years ago for building violations. Bottom line, I have a home to live in and I have to make the best of things, but I'm disappointed with this experience. ... More
