Paint workman ship was poor, texture on walls was not great, finish on doors was poor. Concrete work on flat work was poor, garage concrete was very poor. We love the house layout & plan. Color and other selections at the Design Center was a good experience, some selections like light fixtures, ceiling fans & paint colors needs work.

Our home buying experience was positive all around. The planning meetings, the available options, the walk throughs, and the fact that the home was finished on time made the whole move worth while. Steve, our general contractor, was very informative and friendly - and is still available for questions and assistance. Our home seems well built, all the options we chose are excellent, and the appliances are great. I would recommend buying from Del Webb at Sun City Hilton Head!

Our home buying process and build experience was fantastic. Our Construction Manager, Natrone, was great to work with. He answered all of our questions and always responded very quickly. We definitely recommend Pulte and Del Webb Naples.

Intent is too obvious with ugly “included” options.

Every choice one makes is a BIG $$ upgrade. Kitchen sink’s sprayer with a plastic hose. Awful. The laundry room all in one faucet and sprayer is much better than the kitchen. The light and vent fan controls over stove are so high I can’t reach them, so they’re not used. How is one to clean the huge MBR shower without having a handheld hose? The shower head is too high. Powder room sink is so small, soap bottle falls off. Time to use wide spread faucet and handles, and get rid of the cheap all in one type. Some wire closet rods are so high, I can’t reach them. Disappointed in the overall workmanship of home.

Encountered many problems because of unskilled workers. The supervisors of the construction managers should know more about the building of a home. They aren't willing to listen to a homeowner. The construction managers have to spend too much time babysitting subs because of the bad work performed. Thus, making costs go up and frustrating to see this through the whole process. Was Not a Good Experience.

Overall from home purchase to move in and care afterwards service has been excellent. The staff from Del Webb from sales office, construction management and service after move in have been professional and supportive. I hired my own building inspector and even he was impressed with the overall construction of my home.

We knew we wanted "lifestyle". We knew that meant Del Webb. We had visited several other lifestyle communities, some Del Webb, some not. Carolina Overlook has the perfect combination of features, size, age, community and price. We couldn't pass by. The house is great, the neighbors are welcoming and the process was as simple as a hard thing can be! Moving is hard, but Carolina Overlook by Del Webb makes it worth the effort!

We love it in our new home. Yes, there are less expensive places to buy, and they are fine. But this is better and well worth the money. The people are great, the house is great, and most of all, you will love it.

We were happy with the sales experience. Build Quality was very good. At pre-closing walkthrough, we were told any issues within 30 days would be immediately handled by quality control manager. That never happened. Two messages asking for very minor issues to be corrected were never answered or acknowledged.

“Make sure they hire a home inspector as the quality of the workmanship was unprofessional.. I would ask to see the certifications of the trades. No supervision of the trades, poor workmanship and total lack of caring and work ethic. There is a sign that says a clean work site is a safe work site. The homesite constantly had trash all over, including pee bottles. If they had done what our inspector said during the 4 pre drywall inspections they would not have had to remove the flooring and level the floor for the final inspection. From start to finish the Pulte team was responsive, professional and knowledgeable. They addressed questions in a timely manner and as promised gave weekly updates on the progress. I still have a couple cosmetic items that were not noticed prior to closing but those will be easily fixed. Would highly recommend the Sagebriar neighborhood. Looking forward to all the amenities to be up and running next year, lots of energy here for sure.

Lesson learned: Never sign closing documents assuming the builder will complete promised repairs afterward, even if you're acting in good faith. We were assured that all identified repairs had been finished, but several were not. Additionally, the project manager claimed that our oven's intermittent ignition (turning on and off every 5 minutes during baking) was normal operation. However, the manufacturer later confirmed this is not normal and may pose a safety risk.
