Not very happy with the response for some repairs

The sales person did not listen to my needs, I believe she is not longer with the company, as mentioned on my last review I paid $ 700 to upgrade the sanitary bowl and I got the ugliest bowl with wooden top that does not close automatically and already have a ship on it, the bowl that I wanted cost last then $ 250 at home depot The sprinkler is the worst, the plants & grass is dying and water runs twice a day on the wrong directions, what a waist of water & money Suggestion, when on last stages of completion you should allowed the buyers to review the house to check if there is any discrepancy’s The house is comfortable and the inside is well design ... Renee and Josh were enjoyable part of the experience. Follow up on issues has room for improvement. Quality of workmanship I would rate as average and suffered from project manager being stretched too thin.

I had a great experience working with Brian, Jeff and Terry from the initial contact to closing. Unfortunately, once we closed on the home I have run into several brick walls trying to resolve lingering construction issues. I would advise buyers to get everything in writing and never sign off on punch list items that have not been completed.

Windows and doors installations have significant opportunities to improve on. Having to come back to align, reinstall doors and windows is not efficient. Getting contractors back out is a struggle.

I recently purchased a home in Stone Creek, Del Webb. Excited to be in a new home, I was there the week before closing to do my pre-closing walk-through. We marked up many many things that needed to be addressed and the site supervisor, Jeff, told me that I was very particular, and that I should be reminded I am buying a production home and not a custom home. I reminded him that while it is not a custom home it is my home. I went back a week later for my closing, which I had closed online prior to my final walk-through, and nothing had been addressed. Nothing that was marked up and let me tell you the house look like it had the measles because it was so many red and blue taped areas . He gave me an excuse that there was something wrong with the painters, and that they couldn’t get back there. Aside from the painting that was sheet rock spackle all over the floors and I was told that it could easily come up when I wash the floor with hot water. The list continues to go on. There is still things that have not been addressed and while I am on vacation right now, I am meeting with the warranty manager when I get back. The quality of workmanship is subpar. Moldings have been cut short and then filled with caulking where they meet the tile and moldings around doorways are jagged, and not smooth And I could continue to go on, but I would prefer that somebody call me and discuss this with me. And by the way, I also had my sliding glass door come off the track and I had to call Jeff on a weekend and that was two weeks after I purchased the home and he told me it is not a warranty item and then I should call Handyman and pay somebody to fix it. From what I understand with my new neighbors, he apparently does not have a very good reputation with the new buyers. In fact, my neighbor threw him out of the house. I own a DellWebb home in Lakewood Ranch and I want to say there is a pretty big difference in the quality of that home and this home. Granted the home in Lakewood Ranch is over $1 million and this home is only close to $500,000 which by the way it’s not a cheap trailer home by any means. I would expect the quality of some of the things I have a $200,000 home but not in a $500,000 home. ... More

The builder neglected details and was in a rush. Grouts in the bathrooms are barely there and rough. I wonder if the tiles will stay together much long and grout sealer was not even applied where the bathtub and floor meet and the grout is cracking from drying. Generally the workmanship is quite poor. I wonder what else I will notice later. And the doors are too big where the space is small; they hit together. Buying process was pleasant.

Overall the house is OK, lots of issues yet to be addressed. Wish they would handle punch list issues within a set time frame, like 30-60 days after closing. I like the neighborhood and the amenities but the inside finishes do not align with the cost of the house.

Whilst we identified our sliding door as an issue on our punch list upon closing it took two weeks and multiple outreaches to have someone come out and look at the door. They were able to fit a functioning lock but the door still does not slide. Advised someone would return but has been over a month and no communication.

Rusted natural gas line that won't open for my natural gas grill. Master shower that won't drain because of debris in the pipe. Poor responsiveness to these issues. Another quality Pulte product. At what point do I write Pulte, state representatives, etc.

The HOA increased monthly dues w/o notifying prospective buyers. changed rules to home ownership and contract. pulte did not finish courtyard created additional expenses. When buying into community have about $20K available for landscaping and other costs. the hoa rules now require homeowners to have landscaping installed 90 days after move in\-a change from original hoa rules sent to me upon contracting that stated plans must be submitted 90 days after move in. The buying process was easy.

The community we have moved in to is amazing and close friendships are already established. Unfortunately, the experience of building this house was not a good one. Lack of communication and concern by the builder has left us with a less than desired result. This is the 5th home we have built and had more issues with poor workmanship and choices. From the design center to the final walk thru the process was rough. Having to add so much electrical to have lighting, the paint that is nothing more than primer that you can't wash. Not given any options on color but you should be given a finish that doesn't rub off. You should not have to hire a painter! It's like having a white chalk on your walls! Silicone and grout to hide mistakes. Window screens that are too small. No pride in finish carpentry. Outside stucco painted instead of having color added before application. These items were brought to the attention of the supervisor who did not follow thru on correcting before closing date. ... More

Still waiting on my landscaping to be fixed after digging up my yard to fix broken pipes. I did get a fast response from the plumber.

Pulte / Del Webb. The jury is out but I can tell you that Pulte does not have a great reputation in this Del Webb subdivision. Pulte uses sub-standard contractors and the attention to details in regard to workmanship is bad. Maybe things will get better but my “not impressed” meter is not registering right now.

The experience was fine but the workmanship is not what one would expect for a home in this price range.

The finish work was probably the worst I have experienced. They didn't finish the items prior to closing. Doors are damaged, stove burner doesn't work, dishwasher had problems etc. There are several items not completed and it is a nightmare trying to get them back in.

Lack of response for warranty issues submitted on line or called in. We have to follow up 3 or 4 times just to get a response, then we have to wait for the trades to "hopefully" show up.

Too many doors in the house- master bathroom has 4 doors; location and size of pantry door interferes with use of microwave

Many imperfections within the home.

It seems after Pulte gets your money that they dont have any concerns about addressing your issues that arise after the sale. Emails went unanswered and nobody seems to care about the items that need addressed after the money changes hands.

Delm Webb has a great reputation but the workmanship and fitgnish work especially is terrible. Production houses have subcontractors with little or not Q/c except the customer service reps who are responsive and well intentioned but overwhelmed. If you want to live in a home being adjusted to various issues, things will eventually get done. Not fun at age 77 with some health issues. BUT still glad we bought just disappointed with initial work

After you take possession of your new home a 800 number is provided for issues. The recording says allow up to 72 hours for a call back. And company that takes 72 hours to return a call should so re evaluate their business practice. When I did receive a call back the person was very unprofessional. Thank God my issues are minimal because I feel like I’m on my own.

Sales coordinator Jill was awesome, workers showed little pride in quality of their work in several areas though construction project manager Jordan communicated well and was somewhat effective in getting problems addressed. Have had poor post close communication and no resolution efforts on any defective work after 45 days since close.

Lots of defects, quality issues. Very disappointed.

Don’t close escrow until all things in your home are up to standard. Once you close, they seem to forget about you. They keep building new houses, but don’t come correct/fix things in homes already completed.
