Our home was inspected prior to closing and the inspector found several issues with the structure and the plumbing. Some were fixed prior to closing and some were not. We find the finishing work to be very shoddy (paint drips everywhere both floors and hardware, molding not fitting, no molding on the top of the fireplace, very sloppy paint jobs). In addition the EZ Breeze was not installed properly and we had to get the president of the company out to fix things. The pantry door was installed incorrectly. The process from beginning to end was a great experience, with the exception of return communication from the design team after we purchased our extras, and the final walk through process was a disaster. You would think that the finishes would be a high priority, since this is what John Q Public sees at closing, it is what is looked at in order to accept the property. We had so many small finish issues, that my wife & i were completely disappointed, and since have had zero contact by the person who was in charge of making those repairs. The quality of craftsmanship was poor. Very frustrating to have to continue to get things fixed that were just lack of detail. Pressure to complete homes creates poor quality work. I know construction isn't perfect but I feel the quality is below par

We only closed on our home a month and a half ago and still have several unresolved issues. We will hopefully meet in person with our customer service representative shortly He has reached out to me with three emails and has contacted two subcontractors. I do not want to rate Robert’s performance until he has had a chance to properly address our issues. Initially, I was very pleased with our sales consultant Dana and our building superintendent Michael. They were both very helpful and professional. The experience during the building process was good, but once you closed on the property and gave the rating for build process, service and warranty requests were mostly ignored. Adjacent home sites that were being built were messy and never cleaned up, with trash blowing everywhere and onto our property, as well as noisy trades working until 8:00 PM at night.

Overall we love our home. There are so many things that easily met our expectations. Our concerns our 1 - the quality of the paint inside is terrible. They should have used some kind of latex paint. They used a flat based and every little things that touches the walls leaves marks that need to be washed down. 2 - we had our walk through 2 months ago and still have several things not resolved. I am now leaving voicemails with no response. Very frustrating because we just want to move forward.

Closed on Feb 8. Water leak Feb 9. Mold in master bathroom. It’s April 8 and repairs are still not complete. Trades do shoddy work. So much has to be repaired. 30 day repairs have not started yet. This is my second Pulte new build and I’ll never use them again. Trades do not show up as scheduled and if they do they have no idea what they are suppose to do.

I had a very bad closing experience. Many inconsistencies existed between how the field managers do their closing procedures, time management challenges and lack of follow through. The department that stands out as excellent is your sales/warranty team

Given their large size, Pulte has well honed floorplans. But lack of information at both sales (where structural options are chosen) and the design center, are problematic. Each should know their product and choices better. The excuse of being a "production" builder wears thin after too many refrains.

The builder has low expectations and standards. Builder is focused on building fast and NOT on building a good quality production home, that is too bad , they have some Awesome floor plans. The trades are pushed to get things done FAST, so they are either unable or unqualified to do a good job. It has been over 30days since we completed our 30 day list of things to be fixed and the only response was we will schedule in the next month or two.

Most things went well however some problems were identified but not corrected. For example, the slab for the outside HVAC was marked to be moved 5 or 6 feet to the back to line up with connections coming out of the house. This was not done even though it was plainly marked in spray paint on the cinder block. Now thinks are off and the insulation tubing is cracked for most of the long connection from house to HVAC unit. Some sheet rock mudding was to be corrected but again not done. This one we told your people that we would correct ourselves. Should not have to do this on a half million ...
