Buying a Del Webb home was a great experience. Everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, professional and proactive. I always felt like I was in capable, trustworthy hands that truly wanted to build a great home for me.

This is our third home build and the first done remotely (living out of state). Although initially concerned, our Field Mgr. provided us with weekly progress updates and answered/addressed any questions/concerns we had. Our Sales person was also quick to reply to anything we asked as well. Those combined made us feel very comfortable with the process. Although its only been 2 months since closing, so far we have been extremely pleased with the quality of our home and the few minor things that have surfaced were handled in a timely manner. Good overall experience with the process of building and purchasing.

I thought the process was easy and the builder and build manager really took care of all issues

It's been 2 months since closing and the only item from the punch list that has been fixed is the refrigerator. Some others have resulted in phone tag that ended in their court and some have no effort at all.

The supervisor we had was very good went above and beyond during the whole process of building the house, all our questions were answered right away any problem was taken care of. Building a home can be very stressful but with the right people it can be joyful,and this time it was joyful.

Pulte/Del Webb is a MASS production home builder. Their attention to detail, especially with finishing is not good. It would seem that many of the subs are hired for low cost, not the quality of their work, especially the painters. The houses have small garages, hardly suitable for 2 cars. The driveways are narrow and short, more like what you would see for a townhome, not a detached single family home. Many of us have to expand the width of the driveway at our own expense to have a driveway on which we can park 2 cars and access each without having to walk in soggy soil during a rain, or bag car doors due to the narrow width. I was also disappointed with the lack of options included for both the structure and the lights/faucets. Any upgrades done were paid for twice in my opinion. The main thing to remember is that you are buying here for the neighborhood. I think the house is structurally sound, but I may have spend more money to improve the finishing and driveway usability. The salesperson, Danielle, did a good job of selling and offering the available options and she talked the talk on quality but did not walk the walk. Nice community and amenities available

I am disappointed with the quality of the kitchen sink and stovetop even with the upgraded package.

The contractors appear to have no interest in taking pride in their work. They seem to have the attitude that they needed to get the work done and move on to the next home, with little to no oversight from the builder. Our home was not move-in ready on the closing date. There were many, many issues. The sewer was backing up on the walk through and wasn't fixed until a week after we closed, which was nine days after closing. The tile work was especially poor, including but not limited to, broken tiles, numerous spacers left between tiles (we're still finding them) and grout tracked through the house all over our tile that we paid extra for. Plumbing fixtures were not even set over the holes on the countertops in the master bath. back yard corner spotlights, that we paid extra for, are not in the corners but about a foot away. we're still waiting on a cracked window to be replaced. We cannot step in our front yard, it stays saturated and muddy. The list goes on and on. We have great neighbors and like the area and would even think about upsizing in Del Webb if the workmanship was of better quality. At this time we would not recommend anyone buying a Del Webb home. The sales team were always available to help with any questions or concerns. Very helpful with closing.

we have been in the house for apprx, six weeks and the punch list at walk thru before closing still have not been addressed, the paint job on new trim makes trim look like its thirty years old, full of caulk, paint drips etc.doors are rough{painted with a roller}? I can not express the diapointment, and most neighbors agree

I told salesman I would plant plants in my yard. He said no problem. He said for outside house construction issues I would have to submit request to HOA. I did not know planting a single plant would require an HOA approval at the cost of $25!! had I known, I would NEVER have bought here!!

We are happy with our new home.

This is the second home we built with Pulte. This hone is for our daughter who has special needs. Our sales rep helped us thru the changes like pocket doors and wider Doorways. The changes were very affordable. Our management coordinator went Above and beyond to make sure all issues were taken care of.

They give you what you ask for at a good price. But leave something to be desired when it comes to after you take position touch up’s.

Enjoying our new home very much so far

My new house is beautiful but I needed to do quite a bit of upgrading to get the look I wanted. The general selections I found to be very limiting. My family and I were also extremely upset that used appliances were placed in my home during a global pandemic because mine were not in at the time of my closing. I never used any of them. I just sprayed them with Lysol. I have too many underlying health conditions to take chances during this crisis. I just received my range today. Still waiting for the vent hood and dishwasher. I’m glad I purchased my refrigerator. I would have preferred to just buy all my own appliances, but was told I couldn’t. I’m disappointed that it’s taking so long to receive what I’ve already started paying for in my mortgage. After all, I put my deposit down on this home in September, 2020. During the 5 months it took to build my home, appliances should have been made available! You can only eat microwaved and fast food for so long and stay healthy during a pandemic. ... More

House was built very rapidly. Limited number of options. Unwilling to make small changes during building process if not in the plans even though it could save the builder and purchaser money. Very important that the purchaser remain involved during the building process. The order of the building process is not always the most economical. For example not putting in outlets in some cases before the drywall was installed. Drywall was installed over switch boxes. Suggest that you make lots of pictures of walls before the drywall is installed. Follow up all discussions by email in order to put everything in writing. ... More

They know what they are doing. They say what they mean and do what they say.
