I’ve got issues that were identified at COE that got pushed to warranty and nobody has addressed them. It’s been over a month since I reported the items to be fixed and no answers or updates from Pulte.

It’s clear that management is not focused on client satisfaction. There were too many issues at closing that still have not been addressed. Trying to get someone to work on the issues has been frustratingly hard.

Extended time it took for build vs estimate. Quality control is at best average. You need someone watching every step of the build to insure things get done properly.

The buying experience is good but after an hour walkthrough or turn over is not enough as you go thru each day, you’re finding more and more that should have been done or corrected before the turn over of the house. Each detail is a must to be inspected by each homebuyer based on their upgrade’s and quality Of materials and the way it was installed.

Communication throughout the process has been poor. Slow responses on all levels. While the house is visually beautiful from the street, the interior of the home is poorly done. There appears to be no pride in the craftsmanship of my home. Poor paint, poor fit and finish, bad doors and the list will continue. They are starting to do some warranty work, but the repairs have been slow.

Very poor workmanship and lack of appropriate supervision during the construction process. I received my new home full of dust and with several unfinished details. No electric power in the dryer outlet. Food waste disposer with no electric connection. Garage door with some loosened bolts. Kitchen cabinets’ doors with dents. Just to mention some of them.

The actual sale of the home went smoothly along with the mortgage process. However, the design process was not really design - the designer more accurately checked boxes and was not able to provide any design insight or suggestions, missed sharing information, and felt rushed through the process. Upon closing and moving into the home, we found the quality of workmanship to be poor. Examples of the poor workmanship include dry wall, painting, and trim throughout the house. The house does not reflect what you would expect of a finished product for the price paid. In addition, when getting ...

We were given several dates for move in, not very good communication between the builder and us. The walk through was done on the same day as signing and several things in the home were not complete. We have been in the home for 37 days and still do not have our blinds installed, we are still missing a cabinet and draw in the kitchen and several other items that need to be fixed. It's almost as if now that the home is ours there is no communication with the builder.

Master bath tile needs to be redone in areas and waiting for time to be scheduled on that. Electrical outlets all had to be rechecked due to loose wiring that caused flickering of light fixtures and kitchen lighting to not work. We feel the construction was rushed and very disappointing for a Dell Webb home.

Don't Expect Your New Home to Look Like the Model.

The walk-thru scheduled 10 days before the actual closing should show a home with a short punch list...a home that's almost perfect and ready for move-in. My list of open items was 2 pages long, and the 'promise' that the home would be 100% ready by closing date did not happen. The closing date is set by Pulte...not the buyer. Read the contract carefully.

A bidding process to pay extra for building lots should have been a warning sign. Very little contact from Pulte construction during the building process. I can understand it’s a difficult time to build with Covid, labor and material shortages. But after a big rush to meet their closing date at the end of the building process, we cannot get anyone from Pulte customer support to return calls or follow up on issues that need to be fixed. What good is a home warranty if there is no response to calls? I left voice messages three days in a row on the Pulte Cutomer Support line. The ...

The quality of finish work is poor considering the per sf price, the overall home design has flaws caused from not thinking through how someone lives in the space, and the upgrade options are limiting and expensive, but the Pulte people are kind and pleasant to work with. The DW Community is a happy and quite environment, outside of the temporary construction crazy, and we love the amenities.

I guess anyone buying a new house is having the same experience we had. Material and labor shortages kept pushing back our move in date. When we were told the house was ready for our final inspection we saw some clear examples of hurried workmanship that was careless and incomplete. We were told the items would be fixed ASAP. That was nine weeks ago and most of the items haven’t been addressed. Covering crakes with caulk didn’t quit live up to quality workmanship. We been fixing some of the blemished stuff ourselves. Not our best experience with our builder.

When buying, you’re told how clean they keep the worksite. Not true. Workers leave trash, food, etc laying around. Walked all over drywall with muddy feet then drywall is hung muddy. Floors aren’t covered during paint touch up and drops of paint aren’t cleaned during final cleaning. Slow response to calls (if it even happens). Nails is street. Landscape bushes weren’t stabilized and are bending over. A small piece of bamboo to secure a crape myrtle with string etc isn’t secure.
