I do not blame the delays on Del Webb, they were the fault of our politicians. However, even several months after moving in, my oven is not completely installed and the hot water recirculating is not working. The contractors have generally been very responsive. This is except the plumbers. They have repeatedly lied, missed appointments, and have not resolved the problem.

Our Project Manager went above and beyond by sending pictures throughout the construction process.

Our sales person seemed to lose interest once we signed the contract and was non-existent through the close. Sales person has yet to congratulate us on the new home. Low scores to sales. Pulte mortgage was impossible to deal with and dropped the ball several times to the point I used another lender and lost $8K from Pulte, but it was worth it. The bright shinning star was our construction project manager who was great to work with, communicative and very detail oriented.

Cookie cutter homes. Don’t have the ability to make any change after contract is signed. Poor communication between Pulte and my mortgage company during mortgage approval time.

Beware...... First water bill for new home buyers to Stone Creek!!! Turn your irrigation system back!!!!!!

Stone Creek used 116,000 gallons of water on our sod prior to ours closing. After our closing we had inadvertently and quite accidentally and mistakenly used 92,000 gallons of water on our new sod. Isn’t that an excessive amount of water and a waste????? Perhaps your notice/awareness Regarding watering new sod to new homebuyers could be made with more emphasis regarding the awareness of the first and second water bill!!!!! We were so excited to take possession of our new home. We had a devil of a time, reaching Ian or anybody beforehand who could supply some basic details. We were excited to get the keys and very very happy however we walked over to the front desk and we weren’t even in the system, a terrible buzz kill for us. we went from ecstatic to despondent. Two months later, we are still not in the access system and we’re charged a late fee for our payment even though we mailed it in way ahead of time. Disappointed with Overall Quality – would not buy from Pulte Again

We’ve purchased multiple new-construction homes over the past 40 years, and this has been our most frustrating experience. The overall finish of our Pulte home felt rushed and poorly executed. The workmanship has a lot to be desired. I think the building of the house was rushed and the attention to detail was lacking. We had numerous problems with the house. The response to the problems was excellent and our project manager was on top of everything.

Build manager promised many repairs to be completed in the first few weeks that never happened. The warranty ticket system seams to be better but we are still working through it.

Disappointed in the quality of the workmanship compared to other Pulte homes. Cracked concrete, inside doors that are not leveled / can't be closed and which were fixed by bending door hinges. Kitchen cabinets that needed touching up. Door seals that needed to be replaced since they were short of the door width. Misaligned garage door, Paint droplets on tile floor. We had 4 windows glass panes replaced. Not sure whether the work was rushed to meet closing date.

Experience buying a new Del Webb home

We had a truly awful experience. Too much to detail here. Interior work in house was deplorable; we refused to close and then got taken seriously. House was finally fixed up reasonably well after complaints to Del Webb corporate management. Had five closing dates over a 10-week period; finally closed on the fifth one. Were lied to over and over and had endless aggravation. Kudos to the crew that fixed up all the problems so we could close.

Speed Versus Quality…

Generally speaking, my home is well-built structurally. The quality of the finish work (flooring, trim, paint) however, is fair at best. Pulte was definitely more interested in getting the house finished quickly versus finishing it well. Buying is tough

Home buying should be fun and this was not. I chose my home lot because of the location and views, not being told that there was a hill and homes being built above me. I paid a premium for my lot and now all my views are blocked. The finishing up my home was delayed over two months, which was very frustrating as I never knew whether it was going to be done or not, and when my move-in date would be. But, when I finally moved in, I love my home, and the small issues have been taken care of. The neighborhood is fabulous and the amenities are beyond amazing. So I guess, all in all it’s worth it.

Pulte needs to work on customer service

We have built a number of houses and this was the worst experience so far. The salesperson Karen was excellent—professional and extremely helpful however she had to work with corporate policies. Overall in the end we are satisfied with our home but the overall experience was a nightmare. I absolutely would not ever consider using Pulte mortgage. Sales agent was not helpful other than day when we purchased. Our realtors tried to get answers from sales agent, but wasn't getting prompt responses from sales agent. Sales agent got transferred to another location. Was difficult getting information to close as the Escrow agents also changes 4times.

Lack of communication

There is a severe lack of communication between the construction team and the team that schedules walk thru and closing appointments. Do NOT give up your current residence until you have the keys for your new home in your possession. Having a final walk thru scheduled when there is no flooring, no plumbing fixtures, no appliances, no toilets/showers as a start and your closing as I knew at that time was in 3 days! There were still more "rescheduled" closings after that as well.

Sales agent was super. Building site supervisor was responsive. But there were about two dozen issues regarding poor workmanship or carelessness of builders. Fortunately, customer care response to outstanding issues has been great. Builder did promote its mortgage company, which pushed unacceptable terms; we were able to find much better terms easily.
