Del Webb is a well oiled machine! From sales to build to closing! Amazed that through pandemic our house was completed and closed few days early! We are so very happy in our community in Myrtle Beach!

I thought the home buying experience was made very by Pulte. We had some challenges to close in 3 weeks but we did it!

Everything went very smoothly. Any issues that arose were handled quickly and professionally.

Pulte/Del Webb did a good job building our house. There were a few issues but our Field Manager, Brandon, got the work scheduled and is getting us done. There are some communication issues between Sales and Construction could improve so that the Buyer understands the building process better,

The overall quality of the homes is good, there were a lot of details that needed to be revisited and could have been done better the first time around.

Excessive amounts of poor construction, painting, molding, concrete, siding and roofing. All issues that could be fixed, but not much seems to happen.... fix one thing, come back a few weeks later fix something else... on and on... unacceptable for new construction!It would be nice to be able to move into a new home, and not feel like you need to constantly be under construction because someone did not do their job right in the first place!

I am in the middle of legal issues regarding the purchase of my new home. Very very disappointed in Del Webb/Pulte in rectifying issues.

Be involved with the process. Take advantage of offers as well as advice from the Pulte representatives. Be imaginative and have fun. Meet your neighbors. Get involved. It is the Sun City way!

Pulte Homes has built a beautiful and well-built home with many nice functional features for us. Very Highly recommended !

Love the layout, and everything about it. David, the builder, was very responsive to come & fix any problem I had. Love the community. The people are very friendly, kind, & helpful.

We have been our home for about 1 month. We can't be more happy with our home.

Building was performed on schedule even during the pandemic. Overall we are happy with the results.

Just what we dreamed of in Retirement!

Great home, some delay in addressing some issues, particularly resolving some openings at the bottom of the sliding door. Allowing bugs and other small insects to enter the home. Other were address quickly and successfully. Beautiful home, Well laid out, and easy to make our own.

We are very pleased with our home, however we were here during the last 3 months of the construction. I can’t even begin to tell you what slobs your workers are. I wouldn’t want to buy a home that I wasn’t there to make sure there weren’t pop cans/bottles in the walls because no one cares enough to move them. They even stapled a water bottle to a stud so it would be in the wall. Our site supervisor did a good job of catching things, but they can’t be there all the time. Despite all that, we are pleased with the end product and are enjoying our new home. Except for the subs working next door that throw their trash in our newly landscaped yard just for fun. ... More

The people at Del Webb made the process both affordable and pain free of getting a custom built home. All of their employees were responsive to questions and made it easy. I would suggest anyone looking for a new home to use their service.

Because of Covid-19 restrictions, we were not able to visit our home during the build. We first saw it on the final walkthrough. The shower border had been missed by all involved in that process. It was a key design feature of our home, so we did ask that it be added after closing. A couple crucial mistakes were made in the first redo, one which was corrected and one that could not be. There are multiple ridges in the grout where new grout was put over a bad initial grouting. Had more border tile been obtained at that time or even now, that could be corrected, but we were told it was not easy to get. There was not even one extra pebble of tile. A couple "I'm sorries, and that is the best we can do" do not make me feel better about how our $5,000 shower looks. My advice is that if you cannot be present frequently during the build, give a copy of your final change order to a close friend or family to stay on top of every part of the building process. Do not assume that what you ordered and have in writing will necessarily happen. We learned the hard way, and I have no sense this will ever be resolved to my satisfaction. ... More

Construction phases all went smoothly and our construction manager was SUPER to work with. Loan application and mortgage process was very frustrating. Worked with multiple people each asking for the same things over and over again. Process started earlier than expected and seemed to go on and on to the very last minute. Closer was refreshing in that she felt our pain and understood the difficulties working with Pulte in Colorado.

Our home buying experience prior to closing was very professional and the sales and marketing personnel were very helpful in answering all of our questions. A week prior to our closing we completed a site walk that resulted in a lengthy "punch list" and we were lead to believe most of the items would be resolved prior to closing. The day before our closing, we conducted another site walk and were surprised that most the items were still outstanding. Here we are now over a month after our closing and most of our items from the original "punch list" remain to be completed. Overall we love our new home, but the workmanship, attention to quality details, and responsiveness after the sale are well below what was promised and expected. ... More

Make sure you hire a realtor and a third party home inspector.

On the positive side, we like the floor plan, the location and the exquisite trim work. The house also seems well constructed. However, we paid a premium price for a model home which included all of the wall hangings, most of which do not reflect our taste Upon moving in we were shocked to find that they had all been mounted with drywall screws, some as long as 2-1/2 inches, causing significant damage to the walls in virtually every room. In multiple cases they also obscured handwritten directions in dark pencil on where they should be hung. It has taken us six weeks to contract with a painter to repair and repaint the walls at a cost of more than $3,000. This has also prevented us from fully moving in, as most of our books remain boxed and our own artwork waiting to be hung. The ice maker on our $3,400 refrigerator has been inoperative since we moved in, as we are still awaiting back ordered parts. A third issue of which we were aware prior to closing: We will incur significant additional costs in contracting with a stone company to cover our front porch, which has three large unsightly cracks, two of which are about six feet long. ...
