Need to CLOSELY examine everything that is installed before closing. Most items i.e cabinets, granite etc. looks second hand.

Cuts on trim, drywall and framing not done with precision leaving gaps that should not have been present. The garage was not cleaned despite repeated requests to remove globs of concrete, drywall mud, sawdust and drywall dust. I finally cleaned it myself. Texturing and painting were done haphazardly with blank areas and paint runs.the sprinkler system was not working correctly and required multiple calls to get corrected. Workers don’t take pride in workmanship

We were told thinks by the salesperson that were not true Workers only care to check off their job. They would paint over anything just to check off their job. We still have crooked walls, bad sparkling, would floors that have many lose areas. There would have been many more thinks wrong if I did not throw a fit before we move in

Many sub contractors that represent Pulte very poor skills and it seems it’s more about quantity than quality

I'm not happy with the quality of the workmanship on our tile floor. Grout is not even seemed like the just slapped it down quickly, didn't use spacers so grout lines are uneven, some tiles are raised not happy with this. We were told they are within the quidelines. If they can get them perfect in the model homes the quality should be the same in all homes. Very discussed!

Have been very disappointed in quality & customer service. This is the fifth new home experience we’ve had and definitely the most disappointing. It’s been a fight on every issue from having a toilet moved that was off center at a shower, kitchen island top seam that was ragged & filled with the wrong color material, corian master shower wall cap that was rough cut and uneven (never was made right) to the poor housekeeping & cleanup on delivery. The ceramic tile work could of been much better. There are spots that have no grout in. Cable should of been done before the sod was put in. The cleaning crew leaves alot to be desired.

We moved in to our new home and it flooded with grey water the first day we were in because a fitting was lodged in the mail drain. That was September 5th. They had to saw out a 4'x4' section out of our slab. They did recapture exhaust from the saw and our house was FILLED with the dust of the concrete so bad that you couldn't see across the hall and all of the smoke alarms were going off. Disappointed With Pulte Home Quality

We moved for the lifestyle but disappointed in quality of the construction. In a $500,000+ home, one would expect a certain amount of quality. Upgraded brushed nickel hardware does not include towel rods or toilet paper holders. If you upgrade the kitchen vent to include a wooden shroud, you lose the upgraded vent and are given a cheap noisy vent with two 30 watt bulbs (no LED lights or quiet vent fan). By the way, the design center did not advise us about this switcharoo. Thank goodness we had a great field manager for the construction but the tradesmen (framers, sheet rock, plumbers, ...

Would never willingly buy a Pulte home because they use the cheapest possible materials to save them money. However, if you want to live in a 55 and older community they have you. They are definitely about Quantity over Quality. Very slow to fix things so make sure EVERYTHING is completed prior to closing because they are very slow to return. They certainly take the fun out of buying new construction.

Beware of all aspects of your construction. The workers do not know how to use a level. They state, “ if it is within a 1/4 inch it meets our standards”. Nice if I want a barn. The so called upgraded cabinets to level 4 are still particle board frames. If you are not there every day during construction, you may have some issues later on that may not be correctable.

Ian was our GC, he honestly tried to meet all our needs but his hands were tied on alot of issues. We felt Pulte was not flexible at all.

All we can say is make sure all your needs are met before closing. If they are not do not close. You will find Pulte is not a custom builder but a track builder, which is a big difference.

Overall workmanship is sloppy at best. After buying a Del Webb home in Anthem, AZ I expected the same quality, but apparently the Austin market is too much for Webb.

Very hard to get things repaired. My drive is cracked, which I know they did it. And they keep telling me I have to put it in at the 11 month. Why so they can put me off and I have to live with a cracked and cement dropping driveway. I don't believe they will ever fix it. They will keep on putting me off. Surprise!!!! I'm not going away.

Poor Quality Home

Quality control at closing was very poor. Test ball in sewer line was stuck, blocked sewer. No water to dishwasher. Dishwasher was installed crooked. Paint finish throughout house is pathetic. A third grader could do a better job. Rain gutter was installed only after argument even though sales person assured me at time I put a deposit down it was included. Paid a premium for my lot to have a view. Was never informed the property behind my house is privately owned and can be built on. Very disappointed in quality of workmanship.

WE WERE NOT ADVISED ON ALL UPGRADES BY SALES. SEWER BACKED UP TWICE THE FIRST WEEK, SEWAGE IN THE SHOWER, NOT FIXED FOR A WEEK. POOL WAS NOT CLEARED UNTIL ALMOST A MONTH AFTER CLOSING, NOW THE POOL MOTOR IS BEING REPLACED. BAD PAINT JOB...PAINT COMES OF TO EXPOSE DRY WALL IF YOU WIPE IT. FLOORS WERE VERY DIRTY. The most disappointing about the Del Webb community is Pulte and the lack of updated choices in the design center for the Garden series homes. The choices are very limited and color choices are outdated. To get up to date choices, you must upgrade to the highest level and pay ridiculous prices and the quality is poor. Get everything in writing as promises may not be kept. And go to the design center prior to signing a contract if they let you. Disappointed in new Bexley development at this time

Much of what you say goes in one ear of the Field Manager and out the other. They focus solely on saying yes and then nothing is done on simple things. No cohesiveness amongst their team at this time. One says one thing and another does opposite. They do not value comments or REALLY listen to what the person is saying. Field Managers lack follow-up/communication skills. This is not a car dealership.
