Whomever did the detailed architectural layout/planning of the home’s infrastructure (water, power, lighting, etc…) failed! The master shower, and kitchen water are so far from the water heater we have to waste 2-3 gallons of water before it begins to warm up. The light switch placements are not consistent from room to room. What is the overhead light in one room is switched in the next. The bed-side switch for the master bedroom switched light is so far from the edge of a king bed that you have to be out of bed to use it. Pulte boasts "premium building materials" and "higher quality standards". I have gotten nothing but push back and told out right lies about rectifying issues with the quality of the "upgraded" kitchen cabinets. Some, but not all sizes of the doors have visible vertical seams. The sales manager claimed any doors wider than 20.5" wide will have a seam in the joints. Four sets of doors are 22'' wide and do have a visible seam. Upon visiting several other homes under construction in the same neighborhood with the same exact doors there are NO SEAMS on the 22" wide doors. So much for ...

Poor response to home quality Issues, that need repair/replacement. Field superintendent unqualified to find defects. Home should have never have never been ready to close in the condition it was in on final walk thru and issues have still not been addressed, 2 months later.

Would not recommend Pulte

Issue that arose in March not taken care of before closing in May. 3 months since closing still not taken care! Paid $$$ for this upgrade. Lots of similar horror stories throughout the community. We went with Pulte because we thought we would get a quality build and responsive experience. They are not that company anymore!

After closing nightmare!

After closing, it has been a nightmare. I have had multiple warranty issues as well as poor follow thru from the builder. Still living out of boxes because issues haven’t been resolved since Closing on May 21, it’s now July 5. My life, my schedule has been disrupted,disregarded and disrespected.

Our buying experience was wonderful with Dorothy. She listened to what we wanted and answered all our questions. The quality of workmanship was not great. Many problems - paint splatter on floor, cracked and chipped tub, crack in master mirror, cold water supply line for washer had cracked unit, walls were not straight, trim work was sub-par - looked like a dog chewed off the ends of the quarter rounds,. We were so excited at the beginning of our journey when we discovered the future community of Del Webb Oasis a boutique community of 422 Homes in a 55 plus active adult community. It's extremely disappointing when trades (contractors) don't care about quality. Slap it up, poor results and deal with it after the fact. Large disconnect with the sales department, design center and construction.... No one takes responsibility, they all pass the buck. It doesn't matter if its a 5 million dollar home or a million dollar home, its all very poor!

Poor Workmanship

Pulte finds the cheapest sub contractors which leads to a poorly built house. Materials used are of the lowest construction quality, i.e. garage door isn't insulated which doesn't keep the heat out. We previously built with KB Homes and their houses are less expensive and they used insulated doors. Walls are not "square". Once the process starts, no one stops to fix an issue, subs are just there to do the next job. Sod put down even though yard was not graded properly. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! Very disappointed with Pulte. They have definitely not improved over the years!

Home was incredibly dirty at walk thru and wasn’t much better the day of closing. There was mastic residue everywhere on the tile floor from the taped floor protection. We have been on our hands and knees getting it off, and it does not come off easily.

Get a good home inspector. Try and find as many issues on the walk thru as possible. The quality of the finishes is so poor there will literally be hundreds of issues. Store your possessions and find a place to live until all issues are fixed. Do not close until. After closing and you live in the home you will find many lack of quality issues. Warranty people seem very nice and attentive, however as is typical there are 2 girls trying to do the work of 4 so they can only do so much.

The sales staff and our construction manager were very nice. Unfortunately Pulte understaffs their construction managers and warranty staff which makes their response time very slow or not at all. The quality of materials and the quality of workmanship of our house is the absolute WORST out of the 4 new construction houses we have had built over the last 40 years. Crooked walls, poor paint quality, cheap quality fixtures.......the list goes on and on.

Watch your build closely

Most everything in this build was not corrected like baseboards not cut to even close to a 45 degree and then just filled in with silicone to hide it instead of putty which could be sanded and painted. The builder grade paint can't be cleaned either. The front door was painted to the proper color but it still has places that are not painted at all across the top of the glass and they had to come back to paint around the door fixtures that they sloppily taped and instead of taking off the door handles first, then painted and replaced the handles. The trades were not effectively managed resulting in chronic mistakes. We forced to revisit contract to support items we added but were missing during construction phases. Items that allegedly were discontinued were not replaced with equal or greater value but instead represent lower quality than what should have been provided. The selection process is rushed and the presentation should be in an actual home not just samples. Construction manager inexperienced, not hands on, working with incorrect blue prints and may not supervise properly due to work load or just dosen't know what he's looking at. We had a terrible experience and would never recommend Pulte homes to anyone. We were excited about the Model homes and our Salesperson, Zac, but after we signed our contract everything deteriorated. Pulte sent numerous emails regarding your 10-step process but our original Super, Brogan, said (and I quote) "I don't pay attention to those emails" which meant we were never given the opportunity to walk our home prior to drywall; this was an enormous problem given Ron works for the government and needed to confirm some of the electrical wiring in the walls. We like our house model and design selections. That's where the "like" stops. This is a seller's market. Pulte is selling houses faster than they can keep competent workers on site. Quality has suffered. Home inspectors are a must to keep from closing with issues that are not addressed after closing. Read the covenants and decided if this this the place for you. Onsite property management is inexperienced and difficult to navigate.

Quality is lacking. Walls not plumb, finish woodwork is uneven, horrible caulking. This is our 3rd Pulte purchase so we are familiar with "big box" builders and how things are done. This home is the lowest quality home that we have every purchased.
