We had a terrible experience and would never recommend Pulte homes to anyone. We were excited about the Model homes and our Salesperson, Zac, but after we signed our contract everything deteriorated. Pulte sent numerous emails regarding your 10-step process but our original Super, Brogan, said (and I quote) "I don't pay attention to those emails" which meant we were never given the opportunity to walk our home prior to drywall; this was an enormous problem given Ron works for the government and needed to confirm some of the electrical wiring in the walls. We like our house model and design selections. That's where the "like" stops. This is a seller's market. Pulte is selling houses faster than they can keep competent workers on site. Quality has suffered. Home inspectors are a must to keep from closing with issues that are not addressed after closing. Read the covenants and decided if this this the place for you. Onsite property management is inexperienced and difficult to navigate.

Quality is lacking. Walls not plumb, finish woodwork is uneven, horrible caulking. This is our 3rd Pulte purchase so we are familiar with "big box" builders and how things are done. This home is the lowest quality home that we have every purchased.

Not all options were presented to me initially. The completion date was given as October, but closing didn’t happen until December 19! Trees planted at an extra charge fell over within 3 days. They were obviously set on the ground and not in a hole. When reported, I was told no warranty on any landscaping. the actual trades that were subcontractors were the Achilles heel in this project. Some basic carpentry/plumbing skills (90 degree base molding vs 45 degree, water supply lines hanging out off wall and not attached, wall texture on all switch plate covers and wire shelving in closets, etc.) were just not present in many areas. Too many items had to be corrected which slowed process and allowed for a distrust/questioning of competence mind set to evolve. CM was continuously aggravated at poor workmanship. He got most errors fixed, but his time could have been much better spent.

What a poor experience buying this new home. The home was stock inventory, so it was finished when I saw it. The builder ignored it for the 40 day escrow, didn't perform any repairs/fixes from the walk through until the closing day, didn't finish the repairs and is not responding to many outstanding issues. The home was never properly cleaned, the windows are dirty. Overall, the experience from Del Webb is poor and low quality.

When we picked out our counters and carpeting it was so rushed I couldn’t think. I wanted quartz countertops and only got them in the kitchen. The bathrooms are granite which I have never liked. I thought they were going to be quartz. She told me the carpet with the pad would be nice and I’m not happy at all. Painting quality is bad. Mantel is way too high. I like the layout of the home.

The process was beyond frustrating. The walkthrough was scheduled before the property was even remotely ready to be shown. Many items were identified that needed to be addressed. Great experience at first. Then my rep became standoffish, sarcastic and then condescending until I put a stop to it. After that it was one broken promise after another. I put my foot down, raised my voice and finally got most of the work done. There is still a lot more to do. The quality of workmanship is a thing of the past. You have to stay on top of these people in order to get the work done correctly.
