several workmanship issues for new home that were completely unnecessary. there were several almost stupid mistakes and issues that the builder should have seen during the building process. the field manager did a great job to correct them and the warranty department run by a lady here at del web is wonderful, she schedules everything that's needs to be fixed, you can count on her. most members we spoke with were very disappointed with issues in their homes caused from the builder.

Issues slow to be addressed

Try to hold off on filling out the survey until all major items with your house have been addressed. While we do love our home and the neighborhood I feel the quality of the house is low compared to what I've had in the past (2 custom-built homes). We had to elevate our issues and they seem to be a bit more focused on getting items fixed. There is just not a lot of attention to detail, and while they use name brands ie Kohler it is really the low end of the brand.

Quality and workmanship is absolutely awful. Huge lack of pride in workmanship, interior finishes and if their clients are taken care of. The construction crews are some of the worst in the business.

We have continually had issues with water in our owners suite closet in a Blue Rock home. First it was the no hot water. Second, water in the closet - still have a dehumidifier in my closet. We moved in April 21st. Thirdly toilet stopped up. Fourth rocks everywhere in the yard along with plastic bottles, wood, or whatever construction workers used was left in our yard and is still there. Of these issues, we have received a new water heater, Toilet makes weird noise when flushing and water in the closet coming from somewhere????? Attention to details very disappointing. The field manager has tried to help and keeps telling us he understands and is going to "fix" all the concerns. We will see how that goes. So far he has helped on most items. Coments like "we know we have a problem with that" don't give us much comfort.

We had a great field manager which was the highlight of our home building process with Dell Webb. We had a really bad experience with the design center and sales office. Coining out of our design center visit we had selected and signed off on a specific design for an inside fireplace. During construction we noticed that the area was being framed for a totally different design than what we had selected. limit your options we paid over 10,000 for upgraded tile. We did not get the tile we ordered different color and pattern and different name. They said it was close enough. they said they have the right to change our choices in the contract. Construction supervisor lied to us several times. Do not close till all items fixed or hold back money. After they receive your money you are helpless. They are desperate money.

1. Communications and accuracy of information to new buyers and existing home owners needs to. It is very poor. 2. Our home was not ready for us to move in. The quality of the home does not compare with the previous home that we've had by another builder. The sales and after sales support was not customer oriented. With that said, we bought the home for the area, community, neighborhood and friendliness of the residents, but will not buy again or recommend a Del Webb home to anyone.

I expected much more from the "industry leader" in 55+ Active Home communities

Throughout the 5 month building process we tried to communicate with the Construction Foreman assigned to our project. We called, texted and emailed. He never responded, even when goaded by our request through the Sales department. Shoddy wood in the walls, a leaking roof due to a cracked tile, missing ceiling lights, a misplaced exterior outlet, and a longer list. Poor Quality Material and Workmanship

Been here 1 month. We understand now why we were unable to use a flashlight during walkthrough closing, we would have seen & been able to identify ALL the poor craftmanship on the walls. The walls panels are not smooth notices inconsistencies such as small circle and lines. The floors make noises/air pockets, unlevel. The kitchen cabinets have dents.

My disappointment in Pulte homes. I had high hopes for Pulte Homes, but found the workmanship poor communication poor and response to fixing issues bad.

Watch every detail and don't move-in until you are satisfied. I am still waiting for a light bulb in my front porch and many other things to be fixed or explained how to be set up.

Home Build Quality

We moved into the house a few weeks ago. During this time we have noticed multiple cracks in the house. The paint quality in the house is not great. The wall panels in the second bathroom were so thin grab bars could not be installed. We had to pay several thousand dollars to replace the panels and install drywall just to install the grab bar.

Our bathroom tiles were so bad that it took seven times to fix. Sometimes they just wouldn't show up and other times didn't have proper tools (had to use ours)!! Very disappointed that builder contractors and reps. made us promises that were forgotten.

At the beginning we were excited and confident. During the meeting at Design Center we realized some loopholes in the process. Complete misinformed and disappointed during the building process. The quality of painting, floor, garage door and others are very low. The team from Design Center do a poor job. Many things are not fixed after signing the closing documents. Very disappointed.

Our realtor was warm and responsive to our concerns throughout the process, with pictures and updates. Other than an e-mail to transfer our funds (in red ink), we did not hear from her after we closed on the house, very disappointing since we were actually visiting another Del Webb community when homeowners were receiving their keys. Got keys to a new house with many issues

I walked in to my new house for the first time to find dust everywhere, paint everywhere, need for touch ups everywhere and many issues that even now after a month and half have NOT gotten fixed. Extremely dissatisfied. :(

Our final “walk through”, consisted mostly of signing papers then rushing off to closing. It’s important to have time to check every single detail, because the contractors don’t always do so. Our dishwasher was installed crooked and the door wouldn’t open all the way. Some of our stove top burners were installed improperly. It took us over 3 weeks after moving in to get these issues resolved.
