Quality control at closing was very poor. Test ball in sewer line was stuck, blocked sewer. No water to dishwasher. Dishwasher was installed crooked. Paint finish throughout house is pathetic. A third grader could do a better job. Rain gutter was installed only after argument even though sales person assured me at time I put a deposit down it was included. Paid a premium for my lot to have a view. Was never informed the property behind my house is privately owned and can be built on. Very disappointed in quality of workmanship.

WE WERE NOT ADVISED ON ALL UPGRADES BY SALES. SEWER BACKED UP TWICE THE FIRST WEEK, SEWAGE IN THE SHOWER, NOT FIXED FOR A WEEK. POOL WAS NOT CLEARED UNTIL ALMOST A MONTH AFTER CLOSING, NOW THE POOL MOTOR IS BEING REPLACED. BAD PAINT JOB...PAINT COMES OF TO EXPOSE DRY WALL IF YOU WIPE IT. FLOORS WERE VERY DIRTY. Disappointment in choices

The most disappointing about the Del Webb community is Pulte and the lack of updated choices in the design center for the Garden series homes. The choices are very limited and color choices are outdated. To get up to date choices, you must upgrade to the highest level and pay ridiculous prices and the quality is poor. Get everything in writing as promises may not be kept. And go to the design center prior to signing a contract if they let you. Much of what you say goes in one ear of the Field Manager and out the other. They focus solely on saying yes and then nothing is done on simple things. No cohesiveness amongst their team at this time. One says one thing and another does opposite. They do not value comments or REALLY listen to what the person is saying. Field Managers lack follow-up/communication skills. This is not a car dealership.

Poor Build Quality

Increibly poor build quality. Fit and finish are the worst I have witnessed in over 40 years of residential construction experience. The amount of caulk used to hide sub standard work has to be one of the major expenses for Pulte sub contractors. I would never go through the process with Pulte again.

The choice of materials and configuration is very limited. And even though our contract specified FULL OVERLAY cabinets, we did not get them. And I'm still unhappy about that. I think you should live up to the terms of the contract.

Quality Keeps Slipping

Hi. This is our third Pulte home and the quality of this home is less than our previous Pulte homes. Cheaper stainless sinks, substandard pitted granite, thermostat of lesser quality and features. No light over the kitchen sink. This is a 55+ community and the shower head is hard to reach for me and I am 6 feet. I have to get the shower head down for my wife who is 5'5". The lights are not centered over the island. They only needed to be moved 7" to make them correct. Not being able to increase the size of your patio screen enclosure which means I need to tear the whole thing down and ...

Problems after move in

Right after move we found 1. front door lock was broken, 2. Furnace was not connected to gas pipe - heat was not working, found millions of ants that was eradicated at my expense, garage door was not going down - fixed at my expense, found spilled concrete on front hallway, entire driveway was not forced sprayed (clean) as others, found front lawn in very dried state including small tree was dying - very few leaves also the rest of grass around the house was very dried and brown. Workmanship is below average. Warranty is the worst I have experienced among builders. Submitted several warranty requests and received either no response at all or a very slow response. WIll no choose Pulte again. Title company that represents Pulte Homes in Orlando had incompetent individuals who were not even able to answer questions the legal description. In fact, they recorded several deeds with incorrect legal and had to file for corrective deed later on.

We were told during our Celebration walk through 1-week before closing that our notated punch list issues would be fixed and /or corrected before closing, Well, that walk through was about 60 days ago at this time and only around 20% of those issues have been corrected to date. Dead lawn ( not watered appropriately by builder), dead bushes (same), stained concrete drive and patio.Unfinished cabinet trim.Several other unresolved issues. They keep saying they will fix these, but not yet.

We were not included in their “Celebration Walk-Through”. This is a walk-through prior to closing that should occur. In our case, just the construction supervisor and the warranty company rep performed the walk-through. So, there have been “punch-list” items that are becoming apparent as we live in the home. (We have been in our home now for 36 days.) The Pulte Warranty folks have been hesitant to have these issues fixed. Follow up was very poor through out the process and the initial walk through was a waste of time because non of the issues were corrected. Our warranty person is trying but the sub-contractors are not easy to work with.

Large bureaucracy that struggles to provide customer service.

Disappointed in dealing with the Pulte bureaucracy when trying to get minors changes made during the build process. Pulte was more concerned with the process of building your house than it was to making sure they provided great customer service. Had to pay a $250 service charge to change out a refrigerator that cost less than the refrigerator that Pulte had scheduled for the house. Painting is a very poor quality and still cleaning or touching up paint issues.

I have been a loyal Del Webb follower since my parents lived in a Del Webb community in Arizona in the 1990s. They had such a great experience in their community and loved their home. I decided then that I wanted the same experience when it was my turn to retire. Unfortunately, the quality of workmanship and the cost do not parallel. Pulte homes are the quality of the original Del Webb name/homes. They are less original with minimal to no choices to make your home individual, and the quality of craftsmanship is poor at best. Building homes too fast and foregoing quality

Homes are being built too fast and workers are foregoing quality. We've had many issues and the most major issue will involve re-pouring the concrete for our front porch. We've been assured having to repour will not cause problems with the foundation of our home, but we are skeptical. Items we asked to be addressed in walk through were not addressed and now we are dealing with them through the punch list process. We had multiple dry wall patching issues. Workmanship is very poor. Tile work was the worst and having to have tile redone. I have had to wait for weeks for repairs. One issue after another. No one seemed to keep an eye on construction. Superintendent didn't stay on top of all the work. Cheap appliances including garage openers.
