We have had an extremely unsatisfactory experience. Jose and john said these issues would be fixed during our closing walk through.. No identified issues have been resolved, despite emails and photographic evidence having been sent to both Jose and John.

Worst home buying experience

No home should ever be delivered the way this was terrible customer service and no attention to detail. I still have many issues and left with a whirlpool refrigerator that I asked to be replaced due to noise level and was told to pound sand. I will be submitting this to small claims. How about some customer service what ever happen to that.

Model Home Nightmare

Purchased "Model Home" in McKinney. Entry door was attached to frame with Tyvek Tape, Interior doors missing hinge pins and hardware, Plumbing leaks, huge sprinkler leaks, broken exterior lights, do not waste your money on these poorly constructed dumps.

False advertising and poor customer service

First we were told we could have a tray ceiling and signed contract as such then told later it could not be done in our model. After foundation was poured we noticed the garage looked small. Learned it was almost 5 feet less wide in the 2 car garage side! That is significant! The paper documents with floorplans had the larger measurements as did the floor plans online! We can not write a good review because it has not been a good experience. We have standing water within inches of our foundation- our neighbor has complained,through the warranty process, so have we, he has a work order, so do we. We have had nothing done to remedy this issue. This is an issue for the slabs the houses are built on as well as a health hazard- a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes and other bugs. Pulte Homes does NOT build a good quality home. Their product is terrible and the warranty process is ridiculous! Our air conditioner did NOT work because of it NOT being tested at time of build. Our clothes dryer plug was a refrigerator plug! Outlet wasn't even connected to a wire! And lots more but this gives an idea of the quality of our home. This is supposed to be a home built for an older person and our shower is the most dangerous concept...just STUPID! You have to step DOWN 4 1/2 inches to get into a shower pan...it's actually a 6 inch dropdown in the center by the drain. ...

Our project supervisor, Zach, has been WONDERFUL. If he can get things done, he absolutely does; if he can't it's because "his boss", "Pulte", has his hands tied. Our landscaping/grading of back yard is a mess - you can't grow grass on clay whether you water it or not. You can't walk on the lawn there are so many rocks underneath; I'm afraid I'm going to twist my ankle. The side of the house is pitched so steep you can't walk on that either. I would never recommend Pulte/Del Webb to my worst enemy. They over promised (model homes looked great) and under delivered (so many things were wrong and we are being told that it's cosmetic and not their problem). At the beginning, we had issues with Dolly the sales manager. Very poor managerial skills and can't listen or write anything down. Pulte as a construction group are a corporate profit only driven company. They cut corners at every turn and hire contractors and sub contractors at the lowest bid to save a buck. Their construction process and contractors do not care about quality workmanship (nor does Pulte). I used to work in home construction as a builder and contractor, so I know good and bad practices and workmanship when I see it. If it were not for the Del Webb community activities, there is no way we (my wife and I) would do business with or buy a home from Pulte.

The quality of the homes that Pulte builds is very disappointing. The construction managers assigned to the homes are worthless and the contractors do the minimum just to get paid. Very poor warranty response also. Overall, very disappointing!

DelWebb homes are way overpriced. And then after the base price you are nickeled and dimed throughout the whole design experience. You have to go for the upgrades because the "what's included" choices are so bad. The other problem I have is the unwillingness to negotiate anything! My less than stellar home

This is a model home, which to me classifies as a new home. However, when I submit a request for service, Pulte people I deal with constantly remind of what do I expect, this home was built in 2014. I've built four new homes in my life, and this is the worst quality, and highest priced of them all. We continue to complain about things that need to be replaced or fixed with no one giving us the service we've been promised.
