Very happy with my house. I had a few very minor issues that were taken care of within a week of calling them in. I want to stress that these were very minor. I'm very happy with Pulte and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a quality built house.

The Sales person was very helpful. The field manager always called to tell us what phase of the building was in and when to expect what the next step will be. Will be glad when we can get the yard and landscaping in. Our suggestion is to new home buyers, is to get the taller bathroom vanities, and the comfort highth toilets.

The house floor plan is great. The community is better. But the workmanship was not nearly as good as I had expected. The dry wall is not even, the vanity lights are not level. The vanity in the master bath is not square. The good news is that that customer service has been responsive. Although the problems have not yet been fully resolved six weeks after move-in.

Our closing got delayed by DW so we had to close when the date came. Several things were undone and we we told they would be done asap. 2 months later they are still incomplete after many promises to get things done.

At the design center, ask for motion detection light in your walk in pantry. They are great! Wish I'd have asked for them in the garage and the entry into the house from the garage. Upgrade paint if you can, I went with "basic" and found that it is water based and will come off if you rub too hard if you mar your walls. After baseboards were installed, the tile people came back and grouted (why I don't know, as I always thought baseboards were to give that "clean" line between floors and walls). The job was poorly done and painter had to return to "fix" the look. Excess silicone was left on windows - think this may be a manufacturer oversight. Be sure to check all the detail work after moving in. My lead contractor on my house was very responsive, getting someone to fix things usually within a day or two; and came back himself to see if the job was done to my satisfaction. ... More

I was assured painters would return to touch up paint throughout the house that had been sanded but no show-Also door frame around front door never finished as promised

Very disappointing experience. Very misleading sales practice. Very inflexible and rather unfair throughout process.

Wife and I love our new home. Just moved in 6 weeks ago. Very pleased with the performance of our Field Manager addressing several cosmetic issues after the closing.

We are pleased with the experience. Only real complaint is with warranty website. We left message when roof damaged. Waited 2 days as website stated and then called. Was very rudely told that it is 3 days no matter what website stated. Called on third day and no record of our original input. Had to start process over. Thank goodness for crews on site that noted severe damage and got it taken care of. Now our roof is again missing shingles and we have to start system again.

The entire experience with our Del Webb home has been great. The representatives were always available and knowledgeable about every question we had, were never rushed, and if we had requests for changes no matter how trivial they may have seemed (e.g. light switch location) they were accommodating. They assigned one person to be our daily contact through the build process and had regular meetings with us at the house to walk us through each phase. Though we haven't had to use any warranty services as we've found no issues in our first couple of months, we have met the warranty representative who came by the house to meet us and give us all contact information should we need it. The only reasons for the 4 star vs 5 star is the home is more expensive than comparable non-Del Webb neighborhoods, but we were willing to pay to be in this community, and it has been worth it. The other 4 vs 5 is due to them still working through some of the subcontractors that aren't top of the line. Though they seem to be closely monitoring them and quickly replacing those that are not reliable. Great experience and a beautiful and well built home! ... More

A beautiful home in an outstanding neighborhood.

I want to start by saying that our overall building experience was good. On the plus side, the house design and features that we agreed to up front, were followed through to perfection. The project manager, Nick, was awesome and kept us informed during the build process and was responsive to our needs. However, we were disappointed with the condition of the home at final walk thru/closing. The whole process seemed rushed, which made for a lot of unresolved issues. For example, the paint that was done so neatly in the model home (e.g. nice clean, straight lines between the wall and trim), looked like it had been rushed in our home, and was not up to our standards. These were not the only items that made me a bit uncomfortable about the quality of the workmanship. The poor workmanship caught our attention, and as we looked further, more significant issues were identified. What did make me feel better about the whole process is that every neighbor that I talked to, people who had lived there for a while, had nothing but good things to say about the Pulte customer service. They explained that you have a year to get any outstanding issues taken care of, and that Pulte was very good about following through on these items. With this in mind, I have no doubts that we will end up with a home we are proud of, but just wish we could have gotten there in a more direct route. My feedback to Pulte would be that they need a mindset change. Our Project Manager was great, but it seemed like the deck was stacked against him-- with sub-contractors who were perhaps not as competent or not as accountable to the DelWebb standards. I would suggest to take the extra time, before the final walk-thru, and have team go through and inspect the home as if they were buying it. Taking care of these issues before the customer sees them would go a long way towards improving their overall customer satisfaction. ... More

We are pleased that Carolina Orchards welcomes a family atmosphere.

Our builder was very informative, kept us update as to the progress of our house. We feel the interior paint and windows are of low quality. The windows are cold and get near the wall with anything and you leave a mark. The stove fan installation was terrible. Parts of the mounting equipment we missing, it wasn't level.

I must say most issues with our home were satisfied by having to go past the on site builder and appealing to upper management. The customer service manager on site ( responsible for issues after closing) was completely the opposite. He made sure every item was completed ! A word of advice on the walk through is to check all appliances for any dents or scratches as we were blamed for construction damage (verified by whirlpool representative) to our refrigerator which was not noticed in our 30 minute walk through because it was partially hidden by cabinet casing enclosing the refrigerator. Their reason for not replacing was you should have noticed on walk through so be careful and thorough and allow enough time before closing to note issues with your construction coordinator! ... More

Several issues with home and it took 6 weeks and several attempts to get repairs.

We are enjoying becoming new members of the Del Webb Community. This is the first home we had built out of the seven previous homes owned. Workmanship is not what it has been in the past, but the staff has been Great helping find solutions to correct small defects.

My questions were answered and concerns were addressed. I would recomend del web

I had a very good experience with the purchase of my home at Del Webb. What made it exceptional, was my project manager who oversaw the whole process from beginning to end and beyond! Thank you, Bobby for all you have done!

Our house was finished in just a few months on time. Last-minute details were addressed satisfactorily. We are pleased with the overall process

They do what they tell you they would do in a timely manner!!

The workmanship in our home is, to be polite, poor. Paint spatters on the floors in every room in the house. Out of square walls. Doors that don't fit the frames. These are just a few of the issues we have had with this house. We never heard from our salesman again after the contract was signed. Overall this was not the experience we had looked forward to. It's not likely that we would ever buy another Pulte home.
