Very unhappy with the workmanship of our home. No attention to detail. Our project manager did everything he could to make things right. Del Web is only interested in getting as many houses built as possible instead of focusing on the detail/quality of their homes.

The Sun City Del Webb Pulte homes are great designs for living and entertaining. Even though the homes are close together, outside noise is not a problem. The finishing workmanship from poor wood filled with putty, painting not finished, paint splatter on floors and cabinets, poor tile laid uneven. If you have low expectations of quality, this the place to buy!

We have been in the house for almost 4 months now. We made a HUGE mistake. We believed that the issues that we found before closing would be addressed in a timely manner. We were so WRONG! When we did our walk through on the house with a couple weeks before closing, we noted multiple items that needed to be addressed. We were assured they would be finished prior to closing. Many issues still to be dealt with after closing. Spent lots of money for sloppy workmanship as well as unfinished. I think the site supervisor is inundated with many homes and trying to do his best. I have to cobtinousky ask for things to get done. Labor must be hard to come by.

There are issues with my new home everywhere you look! I'm disappointed in the poor quality of my house. If I had to do it over, and know what I know now, I would NEVER have built this house. Not happy at with what I would call, 'shoddy craftsmanship'.

The countertops and flooring would be rated good or very good. However, the finish work is the most awful work I've ever seen! Splits in woodwork and --painting drips everywhere on woodwork--poor painting overall. Lots of excuses for things not done right and field manager does not follow up or pay attention, which to me, translates to "I don't care"! Can't trust his word.

Pulte uses qualify products but the craftsmanship is well below average. During the build process, the workers are just that "workers" and not skilled tradesmen. They rush through the build with unskilled labor, leaving the buyer with many, many repairs and corrections after closing. We had over 100. The build field manager assigned to us was not very knowledgeable or dependable during the build, in fact he showed up to our initial meeting with the wrong build plans. Aside from the cheap materials, the use of unskilled labor that consistently cannot perform the work satisfactorily (especially the interior) is unnerving to say the least. I would need to think long and hard before any recommendations.

It's true. We heard it throughout the build. Coming to Sun City Hilton Head is absolutely wonderful.....if you don't mind living in an over priced, poor quality home. Pulte has to be the bottom of the barrel when it comes to overall quality. The workmanship is subpar at best. The materials are the absolute cheapest money can buy. They are quick to say to NO to everything that would make a client happy yet fast to do whatever they need to get you to close. More emphasis on quantity of homes built over quality of homes built. We have been in our home over a month and are still waiting on many issues to be resolved. Poor customer service. Not at all what we expected in a new home, especially considering the price paid. Many delays, poor workmanship, no pride in work done. Pulte is NOT a custom builder and they go out of their way to make you understand that AFTER you've purchased your home (read: NO changes!). Don’t need to be told how to drive in welcoming session. $40 every time you get a delivery or $30 if a contractor comes to do work at your house! Design options are extremely limited. The quality of workmanship on the build of our home has been incredibly disappointing - warped walls and baseboards, corners that are clearly not square. The response to our concerns has been poor as well as the follow up to repairs. Starting in the sales office, the feeling is that you as a potential buyer are unimportant. If you don't buy, the next guy will. Information on options is minimal and not always well explained. Work / repair promised to be completed before closing often does not happen.
