Despite the beautiful location and first-class amenities, our home was not move-in ready at closing. Our assigned field manager was more interested in receiving a positive survey response instead of fully addressing the deficiencies that, if resolved, would have made it so. While appearing to be accommodating towards correcting our issues (that should have been taken care of before we closed), his aggressive approach toward the survey results was his obvious priority.

Salesperson: Was good, however too many omissions. Things were found after the purchase that we should have been told on advance. Design center: Julie was very through in explaining everything, and very helpful in suggesting and/or recommending selections that fit out style and desires. Construction manager: Chris, was very proactive in his communication, and response time. He was very informative when asked questions about the construction. Our experience from start to finish was seamless. The sales consultant and the builder (field manager) were incredibly easy to work with, professional, knowledgeable, honest and responsive. The entire process moved along just as we were told it would and the timing was perfect. To put it simply, we love our new home and the people we worked with were exceptional!

Our field manager Chris was wonderful. We had & still have issues that need to be addressed. He was there for us & tried his best to get things accomplished. The house was not in presentable shape at the closing . Moving into a new house should be exciting not this disappointing.

The buying experience was great. it was a no pressure sale. Our agent was a matter of fact. He provided answers to all of our questions in a timely fashion, which made it very easy for us to make the purchase. We did the Del Webb Experience, which we would highly recommend. It was a great way to experience the community.

Del Webb sells a community, and the house is the least valuable part of your purchase. House designs provide options, but the finished house is of only average quality. Ultimately you are merely another purchaser, a small fish in a big pond, and the bureaucracy can be overwhelming. In the end, it really is just a house. The community and amenities can shine, so prepare to find your satisfaction there. Along the way take the time to be certain all details are accurately set forth in your agreements. No sales reps comments hold any value unless confirmed in writing. Any mistakes - even denials ...

Actually too early to rate some of these characteristics. My Field Manager was extremely responsive and trustworthy and that is the main element during the building process. Will have to wait to see how issues are resolved during the warranty period.

Building homes too fast and foregoing quality

Homes are being built too fast and workers are foregoing quality. We've had many issues and the most major issue will involve re-pouring the concrete for our front porch. We've been assured having to repour will not cause problems with the foundation of our home, but we are skeptical. Items we asked to be addressed in walk through were not addressed and now we are dealing with them through the punch list process. We had multiple dry wall patching issues. Paint used is like a primer and not a glossy finish making them very susceptible to markings and no way to wipe them down. ...

We couldn't be happier with our Del Webb building experience! Totally impressed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail. Our new house is everything we had hoped for and this is a direct result of the time and effort put in to the building process to ensure it was exactly what we asked for, how we wanted it look, and in the time frame promised us.
