Despite the beautiful location and first-class amenities, our home was not move-in ready at closing. Our assigned field manager was more interested in receiving a positive survey response instead of fully addressing the deficiencies that, if resolved, would have made it so. While appearing to be accommodating towards correcting our issues (that should have been taken care of before we closed), his aggressive approach toward the survey results was his obvious priority.

Salesperson: Was good, however too many omissions. Things were found after the purchase that we should have been told on advance. Design center: Julie was very through in explaining everything, and very helpful in suggesting and/or recommending selections that fit out style and desires. Construction manager: Chris, was very proactive in his communication, and response time. He was very informative when asked questions about the construction. Closing: The closing was smooth and quick. We only had a few questions which were readily and clearly answered, so we could move forward without any issues. We did a final walk through prior to closing, however, you need to live in the house for several weeks or more, before you can discover any problems that you might have have. While the home has a "soup to nuts" warranty on it for the first year, there is quite a bit of "pushback & excuses" from the builders representative's, which is very disturbing. Speaking with other residents that we have met in our short time here, the general consensus is that while they build a nice home, the quality of the finish work, and they way your issues are addressed, leave not only something to be desired, but also a bad taste in your mouth. What should have been one of the most exciting moments in our lives, retiring and building a "brand new" home, has turned into a frustrating, aggravating, and disappointing experience. It was disappointing that the workmanship did not meet my expectations vs the price that was paid for my home which contained many upgrades.

Our experience from start to finish was seamless. The sales consultant and the builder (field manager) were incredibly easy to work with, professional, knowledgeable, honest and responsive. The entire process moved along just as we were told it would and the timing was perfect. To put it simply, we love our new home and the people we worked with were exceptional!

Our field manager Chris was wonderful. We had & still have issues that need to be addressed. He was there for us & tried his best to get things accomplished. The house was not in presentable shape at the closing . Moving into a new house should be exciting not this disappointing.

Quality of home good but finished workmanship such as trim, painting and attention detail of the finished product is poor.

The buying experience was great. it was a no pressure sale. Our agent was a matter of fact. He provided answers to all of our questions in a timely fashion, which made it very easy for us to make the purchase. We did the Del Webb Experience, which we would highly recommend. It was a great way to experience the community.

We got the house we asked for. Loving the area and friendly people!

we are pleased with our new home. it was completed on time and a lot of attention went into the engineering and energy efficiency.

Del Webb sells a community, and the house is the least valuable part of your purchase. House designs provide options, but the finished house is of only average quality. Ultimately you are merely another purchaser, a small fish in a big pond, and the bureaucracy can be overwhelming. In the end, it really is just a house. The community and amenities can shine, so prepare to find your satisfaction there. Along the way take the time to be certain all details are accurately set forth in your agreements. Actually too early to rate some of these characteristics. My Field Manager was extremely responsive and trustworthy and that is the main element during the building process. Will have to wait to see how issues are resolved during the warranty period.

Too many unfinished defects

Well built home and the few minor flaws that we find as we live here are quickly repaired by the warranty crew.

Homes are being built too fast and workers are foregoing quality. We've had many issues and the most major issue will involve re-pouring the concrete for our front porch. We've been assured having to repour will not cause problems with the foundation of our home, but we are skeptical. Items we asked to be addressed in walk through were not addressed and now we are dealing with them through the punch list process. We had multiple dry wall patching issues. Paint used is like a primer and not a glossy finish making them very susceptible to markings and no way to wipe them down. Plywood just pulled apart in the attic and not cut. Water standing in our front yard where the in ground water meter is continues to be an issue. We are told grading it out will help. Overall we are not feeling we received good value for our dollar. The homes seem cheaply built and corners seem to be getting cut. I would highly recommend someone from Pulte/Del Webb check out how quickly home homes are being built. Many of our neighbors have expressed similar dissatisfaction. One neighbor is a contractor and he is managing things by fixing them during the home build as things go....not something I know Pulte would want happening, but he wants his home done right. ... We couldn't be happier with our Del Webb building experience! Totally impressed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail. Our new house is everything we had hoped for and this is a direct result of the time and effort put in to the building process to ensure it was exactly what we asked for, how we wanted it look, and in the time frame promised us. First class all the way!!

We love our new home. It is lovely with wonderful upgrades. So glad we bought our home in South Carolina.

We love our new home! It has exceeded our expectations. Plus Pulte stands behind their product. It's my third Pulte home.

Wife and I love our new home. Just moved in 6 weeks ago. Very pleased with the performance of our Field Manager addressing several cosmetic issues after the closing.
