The building process was well planned by the building team. They kept us informed throughout the process from design to closing. The Project Manager, Mike resolved all of our concerns through closing.

Bad experience would not trust Pulte builders.

Home construction was done with professional care and inspections were done and corrected when it was called for,

Didn’t like the paint options, but over all workmanship of construction was very good.

The value of the home paid and particularly the workmanship is below par

Construction Nanagers did a great job. Disappointed with some of the quality. 1/8 inch thick engineered hardwood was a shock. Fixtures in bathrooms were not the same quality as pictured in model.

We recently built a Prestige model in Sun City HH. The builder was great to work with. We were kept apprised of the building process and appreciated the check-in meetings. As with any new construction, there were some issues upon moving in that needed to be addressed. However, the construction manager was very responsive in addressing our concerns.

My experience from beginning to end has been exceptional. The process can be described as informative, productive, and insightful. We were blessed throughout this entire experience with everyone we were involved with. We could not have asked for a better journey. Thank you!

Project manager was excellent. Pulte sales team, quality , design center all mediocre at best.

Maureen was a great sales rep and Lance was unbelievable good project manager. Also Donna and Denise did outstanding jobs thru the process

Everything was done with professionalism and understanding. All questions or concerns were handled in a timely manner. Always kept in the loop as the process proceeded.

As with any new home build there are always issues and /or concerns which were answered as best could be considering the different inspections. Living in the area during the build was VERY beneficial to see things that were of concern before too late.

Watch your house get built and point out what looks wrong. Don't wait until the closing day to review your home. Get a good 3rd party home inspector.

Interior decorator great during appointment but VERY unresponsive afterwards. She was done with us! Sales person generally good although took awhile for replies. First construction manager was outstanding! The second, that took us to house completion was very unresponsive and did not follow through. Landscaping quality disappointing. So far warranty department has been responsive, although it’s only been a month.

Right from the beginning with our Sales Representative, Art through both our Construction Managers, Jason & Jerry, it was a pleasure having our new home built by Del Webb/Pulte! Everyone was very professional and corrected issues or provided solutions to issues. Thank you for making the process of buying a new construction house easy!

When building a new home I strongly suggest a third party inspector and budget time and money to review the progress as much as possible.

The Pulte team communicated well and kept us informed with the schedule and any issues. Overall they followed up on open items. Lance was a great manager and was always there for phone calls and issue resolution. Appreciate the teams work and follow up

We purchased our house on a short sale so we did not go through the design and build process. The interactions with the sales and finance teams were good. Quality of the home is below what we would expect. First and foremost is the quality of the paint used and the paint application is very poor. Additionally, there were numerous paint spots on the floor that took multiple attempts by Pulte contractors to remove. The last individual that removed the paint used Laquer thinner which has resulted in apparent damage to the floor finish which we will be identifying as a warranty issue.This is the single biggest complaint that I and the neighbors I have talked to have. Besides the paint there are basic craftsmanship issues such as hammer marks on the garage door header and dented doors and threshold which were replaced. The pocket door between kitchen and laundry room must have been damaged during install and someone attempted to repair it by “mudding” it, but it was never smoothed put or finished. We found this just after moving in and reported it and it has not yet been repaired. A couple of other small items identified at walkthrough have not yet been repaired. The front end of the process; lot selection and purchase, moves quickly. It was helpful to have a secondary and tertiary option as property moves fast. Very little room for negotiations around price. Customization is not possible but there are some “standard’ modifications to choose from. The selection of options is limited and expensive so pick your uogrades wisely! The Construction Manager is THE key cog in the project. We were very fortunate to have the CM that was assigned to our build. Our CM was completely transparent during the build. We lived out of state and his communication's status meetings were outstanding!! He made it easy and for that, we are grateful. Lastly, be your own advocate in the process. No repair or replacement is too small. Plumb, level, and square are your best friends in the project. If you’re not totally satisfied, say something. For the cost, it should be perfect. ... More

From our initial exploratory visit, through our "Discovery Stay, sales/construction selections, design selections, the entire construction process and eventual close process we experienced professional, knowledgeable, patient, polite, helpful and friendly Pulte/Sun City employees. We hadn't bought a new home in 27 years so we really needed a lot of patience during the process! We have purchased and built six new homes and the Pulte experience is the worse by far -- from purchase to move in. *Sales: Misinformation on several occasions. *Design Center: Quality of the design center and lack of adequate staff guidance and again -- misinformation. *Time line of build: (again) misinformation. *Mortgage: Absolute fiasco (left hand does not know what the right hand is doing). Again -- misinformation. *Quality of workmanship: Barley adequate. They don't have time to insure proper installations of flooring, fixtures, etc. A regional representative told us they didn't have time to measure for proper tile installation. * Key Complaints: Misinformation, lack of coordination (all aspects of the Pulte experience) including: sales, design, construction, mortgage, insurance -- ALL Pulte entities do not coordinate with each, and the customer gets lost (and misinformed) in the whole of the process. ... As this was our first time building a new home, we were quite apprehensive, especially after reading some of the reviews. When we had our first meeting with the Construction Manager Mike R, all of our fears were allayed. We went into the building process with much more confidence. Since we were renting in Sun City Hilton Head, we would visit our homesite every week. It was fascinating to see our new home during the construction process. When we had the first County inspection for pre drywall, Mike R explained in detail what needed to be corrected. We passed the next inspection and it was smooth sailing from there to the completion. Mike R was there during our Celebration meeting the day before closing and walked us through the house explaining everything in detail. Our experience with the whole process in selecting our model, talking with our sales rep, Design team, Building Manager in charge of the completion of our home was great. They were very helpful,, patient with all our questions and concerns . Moving, from out of state to a brand new area is very stressful and they helped us through the whole experience to feel comfortable and confident . Still trying to maneuver through an entire new section that is under construction , the only downfall in it all, but looking forward to seeing it all come to completion.
