Used inexperienced trades. We were at the site each day and saw firsthand how and who was doing the work. The interior work was not completed by experienced contractors in most cases. This was proven correct by the number of times we had to have repairs done.

We were extremely pleased with the entire Del Webb new home process. All aspects from choosing a model home, design choice, pre and post construction meetings and closing were all very positive. All of the employees we dealt with were very professional and a pleasure to work with. Our mortgage and insurance was also obtained through DelWebb which made for a seamless experience. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a new home.

The entire team from sales to construction to mortgage was terrific. The experience was great all the way through.

Del Webb is a well oiled machine! From sales to build to closing! Amazed that through pandemic our house was completed and closed few days early! We are so very happy in our community in Myrtle Beach!

It would be great if the workers took better care to do the job right the first time. Then we wouldn't have had to have so many things redone to get them right. Yes, all issues were fixed and resolved in a timely manner.

The overall experience with buying my home in DelWebb was very good and I am happy to be able to live in this great community. I’m happy with the house construction and interior finishing. Except for all the painting on the woodwork and doors, it is very sloppy with lumps of paint and spots without any paint. I do get very aggravated every time I look at it.

I’m disappointed with Pulte. Quality control is a major issue. The house was delivered extremely dusty and I suffered some health issues as a result of it. The paint job was terrible. The painters did not cover the floor so I had to painstakingly remove droplets of paint throughout the house. We requested brushed nickel items throughout the house but the garage ended up being chrome. The quartz counter in the kitchen is not perfectly leveled. The quality of the cabinets left a little to be desired. That said, personnel are very friendly. There is follow up on the items we are not happy with. I think they build a good solid foundation, but the finishing details are far from decent. Painting, trim work, landscaping should be better for the price you pay. No changes are allowed to be made.

My house seems to be solidly built. Doors fit properly, windows work properly and I love the layout and details.

Great location with close proximity to beach and necessities. Friendly neighbors and nice amenities. Home has nice open concept and favorable features included huge MBR and bath, screened in lanai, convenient kitchen with huge pantry. My main disappointments has been with the interior and exterior paint quality. Paint has peeled in my garage and the exterior hardie boards show some bleed through in spots. All this could have been avoided if the builder would have spent a few extra dollars and PRIMED and added an extra coat of paint. I also have issue with the landscaping. They planted nice plants but they couldn't spend the extra dollars for some quality top soil. The sandy natural soil is not conducive for plant growth and the poor drainage in front of the home has resulted in the lost of two azaleas already. Mosquitos are starting to be an issue also. I feel if the builder would have spent a few hundred dollars more, I probably be giving them at least a 4 or perhaps a 5 rating. ... More

I love m house as far as the design, room sizes and responsiveness wrh our project manager. What is a huge disappointment is the finish work. We paid extra to have the craftsman’s package and expected the woodwork to be very attractive. There are so many things wrong with the trim that it’s embarrassing for people to see. Corners with large gaps, painting over nails that aren’t countersunk, rough and messed up wood; sloppily painted, just to name a few defects. I’m very happy with Mike for trying to get these defects corrected. Hopefully whoever comes here to repair the items is the best finish guy you have. As far as value: way too much for the lots which jacks the price of the home up. But, we knew going in, that the price was very expensive. I hope to be able to enjoy he amenities we are paying for but can’t use because of covid-19. I’m telling you all of this so you would do better. Would love if our landscaping was taken better care of. Matt our salesman and Thomas our finish guy were both wonderful

The house design and fundamental build is excellent and the location can't be beat, but the fit and finish of the trim and paint was unacceptable. Be prepared to redo a lot of finish work if you expected a quality job.

The quality of my home is great! Just a few issues....Mainly it seems like Pulte’s attention to details is a little low. They build the homes with quality but seem to be on a production schedule. I was told it takes about 100 days to build my home way too fast..... how about adding 5-7 more days to the schedule?? This will give the workers time towards end to really look at the quality of craftsmanship..... fix the common issues that we all find.

Our field supervisor was excellent but unfortunately he had to work with some contractors that were not focused quality people. I think Pulte tends to put more emphasis on getting the job done ASAP rather than allowing time to do a quality job. Everything is put on a schedule and each sub-contractor shows up on his date regardless if the prior contractor had not finished his work. This results in a nightmare for the supervisor as he then has to reschedule contractors to come back to finish work. Painters were horrible. Trim work was fair. Framing was good, Concrete work good, roofing and siding was good, plumbing good, insulation good, hanging of drywall good, finishing drywall poor, hanging of cabinets fair, flooring very good, garage doors good, electrical fair, cleanup prior to moving in horrible. ... I have only been in the house for 2 months. I am sure they will take care of any problems at the 1 year review.I feel very comfortable with everyone at Pulte/Del Webb. There are some design faults which cannot be changed. However the quality of the materials and fixtures are first rate. My main concern is the finish work. Trim poorly installed,paint and clean up should be improved! Our field manager was outstanding and he tried to accommodate us but I felt he was too busy and could not oversee everything.

Generally pleased with workmanship but we had issues just before closing and have not been able to resolve other quality issues we discovered subsequent to closing. Responsiveness after closing abysmal.

Give yourself plenty of time for the mortgage process, it is slower than you think.

As soon as we came into the Del Webb community sales office we were sure this was the place for us. We have not been disappointed with our decision. Great 55+ community with plenty of events to meet people, fantastic facilities, and membership use of the Grande Dunes Ocean Club facilities. Wonderful walk and bike paths, exercise room, indoor & outdoor pools, tennis & pickleball courts. Pulte/Del Webb has been very responsive to the few minor items that needed addressing.
