We were impressed with the model homes and our salesperson was awesome. The construction supervisors were awesome. However, the quality of the final product was very sloppy. Lots of paint splatters on the new floors and outside on concrete, cabinet trim not finished professionally, dishwasher that doesn't work, just general lack of attention to detail.

The pandemic and February freeze were not helpful and Pulte has struggled getting crews/subs to work timely. Worse, the quality has clearly declined from the houses built not that long ago. Getting trades back in to do remedial work is hit-and-miss. There have been 12 requested of which 9 have responded and 6 did rework that was satisfactory. Nearly 2 months in, we still can’t arrange our home because walks, etc. need to be clear for work to be done. At this point, it’s exasperating. Community is great though. Wonderful people. We wish we would of investigated Pulte as a whole. The buying of course was easy! Design center experience great. The problems are with the finished home project. We have numerous fixes. Very disappointed as a whole.

The home is beautiful and the build time was acceptable considering the COVID delays in building materials and appliances. But I had trouble getting my field managers to respond to me with the issues I had with the house, before and after I moved in.

Our project manager Jason was superb throughout the building experience. He called with weekly updates, gave us access to our home at every step of the process, was super alert and reactive to any minor issues that came up during the build. We love our new home. It’s everything we hoped for and we are delighted with Del Webb/Pulte. They are an inclusive company, and we have no regrets choosing to build through them.

When the housing market went crazy, they did not cancel your contract and hold you over a barrel to pay more, like other builders did. There are several things they do extra that others don't (in Texas). I believe they should point outl those attributes of the building process up front during the sales phase.

Everything went well right up to the delivery of my refrigerator. That was supposed to be delivered August 31. It did until it got high jacked by multiple vans that swarmed in front of my property. The delivery van then drove off. No new delivery date.
