Building materials are the bare minimum quality.. I was told that the only thing they cared was going to be that the house was going to be built under "Code" expectations. We did not know that so called builders code meant poor quality materials. The house insulation is HORRIBLE! The house options are extremely high for the poor quality product.

After settlement do not expect help with problems.

There is a form that they have you sign saying the home is perfect before settlement. When you move in you see problems and there is no interest in dealing with them. The basement had mud and dirt and on the floor and it took repeated efforts to get them to do anything about it. The basement wall is leaking water and there has been no response in the 3 weeks after being told about it. There was a lack of oversight of the subcontractors and sub par workmanship considering the price paid for the house. The 1 tree is dead and some of the bushes are near dead in the 7 weeks since settlement ...

Overall the quality of the Pulte home is OK. My impression is that in some areas, especially finish work the personnel got a bit sloppy. On one pantry rack one bracket was missing and some of the caulk was sloppy. My main complaint deals with TAC who is the design center used in this community. I would never recommend TAC. The service we received at the initial appointment was terrible and the quality of the floor they put in was terrible. We had to replace it at our cost.

Promises but no followup

Some of this is communication. I may call to check up on an issue and find someone is coming out but I didn't know it since I didn't need to be there. I get shuffled person to person on follow-up. Follow-up is not timely. I can handle scheduling for the future but I need to know and not be left with the impression someone will respond right away.

The home generally is beautiful. The deal was good, People is helpful . We found some little issue in new building as usual , but del Web send team to cover it . So far We are happy with our new home.

Used the cheapest materials possible. When I spend $700K for a home I do not expect to have replace things like door knobs, garage doors, repaint all the walls, etc. in the first six months. If they had spent an extra $20K they could have made it a quality house. Also garage is so tiny that if you park two cars, you can’t open the car doors. Driveway is so short you can barely park a car on it. Streets are so narrow the county is going to impose a no parking restriction because emergency vehicles can’t get through. It is obvious they used the cheapest materials and cut corners everywhere. ...

Workmanship leaves something to be desired

The house floor plan is great. The community is better. But the workmanship was not nearly as good as I had expected. The dry wall is not even, the vanity lights are not level. The vanity in the master bath is not square. The good news is that that customer service has been responsive. Although the problems have not yet been fully resolved six weeks after move-in.
