Very poor job installing drywall, tile and wood trim. Foundation not flat. Cabinets came in beat up. Told up front they use wood 2X4 studs - not true unless you have a 2nd floor - they use metal - I would not have bought if I'd know that. 2 stars on trustworthiness because of that. So far they have been very good at correcting the deficiencies.

Moved in around March 24, 2020 just when corona virus hit....all worked out well and everyone at Divosta assisted in accomplishing a few items that need attention. All in all a great experience...

I would highly recommend purchasing a Divosta home. I purchased my villa in Hammock Preserve and closed in April 2020. The process was easy and the team of representatives are extremely professional and excellent to work with. I love my home and I feel like I made a very good decision!

This is the 6th new property for us. The most expensive, but not the best by far. The general design is only average. The guest bath and closet are really small, but they're needed because there really isn't room for two in the master bath and closet. There was only a single towel bar, so perhaps it's a home for one person. The shower has no comfort features. Curb appeal outweighs the actual product. It might be better not to ask for this feedback.

Very happy with our new home

Poor communication with process of build, closing was several hours and keys were lost along with gate access passes. Work is sloppy. Inside baseboards are primed but not painted, bathroom shower knobs mismatched and shower not working. AC not working, paint is sloppy and not flat. Kitchen electrical is not working right. Very bad smell in house and your workers stated there is something dead and rotting in the walls. Ac not working. Worked with several project managers that were all not familiar with the work or the process.

I gave 4 stars for responsiveness because i am still waiting for my replacement fridge that was promised right from the day i moved in(mar 31st). I understand waiting for the other minor issues to be fixed due to the virus.

DiVosta was easy to work with. They met the timeframe they laid out. The sales rep and the designer were very helpful and our construction manager was outstanding. We feel that this is very high quality construction and workmanship.

IslandWalk is a great place to live The home designs are varied. The inside design is poor as cabinets are very small, closets are small, causes limited storage that you have to spend additional money on once you move in. No pocket doors make for poor design as one door opens to block a door behind it? Very odd and poorly designed. In a positive note construction was right on time! The supervisor in charge of my home building was Carson, I must say he was easy to work with, very responsive to phone calls from me and really explained everything before, during and even after I moved in I would call him, he always responded quickly and always concerned, he deserves a raise!! ... Wonderful floorplans and upgrade choices

We were excited and eager to move into our new home at IslandWalk. However our disappointment started with a call from Pulte Mortgage indicating that that they needed a last minute form to close, with less than a week before our scheduled close. “We’re really busy right now,” was the explanation. Finally get keys to our dream home, and immediately notice the lack of attention to details: the final cleaning was terrible - dust and grout on tile floors, paint in carpet. Appliance handles were assembled without removing plastic - now we have scraps that we have to try to remove. CAT 6 outlets not labeled, garage door opener poorly wired. The construction of the home was completed as scheduled. There were, and still are some issues to be addressed. All items ordered were completed with the exception of epoxy coating on the garage floor. That oversite was rectified in time for our move in. The remaining open items are to be addressed by the warranty crew.

We have had no problems with responsiveness. We do have a list of things that need attention, when the lockdown ends.

JUST MOVED IN TO NEW VILLA ALL OK SO FAR.

Overall pleased with build. A few hiccups on the way, but most was corrected.

Love the house but disappointed in the workmanship of the floor tiles, walls and trim as they needed a great deal of cleaning and repair.

Construction Managers do a great job to walk you through the construction phases & hold high standards for completion of work. Service after the sale... not very good.

Experience good so far

First, I love my new home with just a couple of reservations. I'm a foody and love to cook but it is impossible to use the broiler without setting off the fire alarm. Why? Because my home, the Cascadia model, doesn't have a kitchen exhaust fan. Even with opening all of the windows, it is impossible to cook a steak without setting off the fire alarm. Second, DiVosta claims to be an energy efficient builder. The amount of water I waste getting hot water to the kitchen and the master bedroom is obscene. The water heater is in the garage and the water "pipes" are not insulated and run through the concrete slab. I prefer to wash my hands with hot water which takes about 2 minutes to deliver to the kitchen. After you get the hot water, if you wait 10 or 15 seconds and want hot water again you need to start the whole process over again. Again, I love the home in general but feel these issues will probably have me selling my new home in the very near future. ... More

Craftmanship has been stellar, great quality and minimal warranty issues 3 months into ownership.

This is our first new home and everyone has been responsive to any problems we encountered.
