Can't get in touch with building supervisor or home warranty contact !!

Multiple mistakes & poor craftmanship, e.g, door bolts not set properly, one closet opening 15 inches too narrow, bathtubs damaged, all door strike plates crooked, towel racks fell off wall first time used, home was dirty & never cleaned before move in date, appliances not working, outside stucco sprayed over all outside vents/wirinf/faucets....HELP !!! Not worth price we paid.

Divosta took 18 months to build our new villa. Interest rate doubled and our costs completely doubled. We were barely able to sell it and break even as soon as we took possession from Divosta. We planned to keep it BUT the huge delays and costs prevented us from keeping it. Their contract gives them 2 years to build so they weren’t concerned about the delays and our costs doubling. Will NEVER buy from them again.

Very uncaring company to deal with

Very poor communications no one would follow and as we went to supervisors further up the management chain for assistance the would not follow up with us. This is the worst company I have ever felt with and recommend to anyone seeking a new home to look at other builders.

Wish I’d never heard of Pulte

It ha been a nightmare. My backsplash has yet to be finished as well as the hole that was dug in the garage to fix a broken pipe and the floor in the master closet. I have got nothing but delays delays delays and promises and lies.

The construction process was the antithesis of the communicative engaging process shown in the promotional videos. I'm an architect and the DiVosta policies and techniques don't pass construction 101. Who builds a house, brings in doors, trim, and cupboards and then leaves the finished house in an environment that is not temperature or humidity controlled for June and July? Drywall, painting, and carpentry are terrible.

buyer beware!

They could care less once they get their money. We have animal feces in our attic (and maybe a dead animal?) and they do not respond. We moved in and simple things like water to the dishwasher and faucet were Not turned on. The dryer wasn't even hooked up.

What a nightmare! I’ve built several homes over the years and have always enjoyed the experience. Building always has issues but as long as the builder is honest with you it all works out. There were many instances where Divosta/Pulte was not honest with me. So disappointing. The problems were not due to supply chain issues, it was the dishonesty from several employees of Divosta/Pulte. They just don’t seem to care about the homebuyer. You’re just a number. We were delayed and other houses who signed after us were completed before our house. We could not get reply’s from our construction manager. I asked if he was ok or happened to pass away…..seriously. Construction of the house is very poor quality. Wall are not in square or level. Communication was bad. When we moved in it was not clean. There was garbage laying around, cigarette butt’s in the lanai. Worst experience I’ve had buying a house in my lifetime. Pulte should be ashamed with the product they are delivering.

Pulte was terrible from the builders to the mortgage company to the insurance company. They had numerous things not done when we closed. That are still not fixed !!!! I would never use Pulte again or recommend then to anyone these

Kept us in limbo during the entire buying/building process, increased the price substantially while they made us wait to go into contract, promised us a closing date but called 2 days before to say wasn't going to be!!! Treated Very unprofessionaly!

2 months (8 weeks) in and more things to be done on the punch list

Ceilings & walls need to be taped in kitchen and living and dining room, Floors need to be cleaned and grout has three colors. We haven't put any furniture in yet because the floors were (are) a mess. Counter is falling apart and has big scratches, The sliding door was Caulked so it doesn't go into the pocket, Tiles in the bath room need to be Caulked. The gutters need to be added in the corners. had 21 things on the list.

The house was filthy and clearly was thrown together by unskilled laborers. This was particularly true with the tile work and grouting. Multiple chipped tiles were installed on the bathroom walls, floor tiles were laid unevenly, grouting is lumpy, inconsistent and varied in color. Managers admitted to us that no supervisor was on-site to oversee the grouting, and agreed that the poor quality grout job encompassed the entire house.
