Have a list off about 20+ items to fix. Finally after living here 3 weeks, multiple contractors Stopped by to fix some items on my list. 5 done, 15 or more to go. Frustrating since Nobody contacted me to review the list of items before common out. So a few left and told me to submit a new ticket. So now I have to start again and probably Wait a few more weeks.. a 3 x 2 inch hole in the wall next to my tankless water heater Is a major concern , with all the rain, water is getting into the open hole in the exterior wall, Who knows when it will be fixed. Light fixtures hanging off the wall, terrible drywall finish that looks Like a child did or, looks and feel cheap. The quality is not what I expected. ... More

Nicely built home in a great location. Our field manager has been very helpful. However, from the business end, DiVosta was very unpleasant to deal with. They refused to give us even one additional day to close on our home without charging extra, even though my wife had to work & we live far away. Our real estate broker who has been doing business in the area for 30 years, said that she had never encountered a firm less willing to accommodate their clients in all her experience & that she will never do business with them ever again.

Be careful with upgrades, especially built-in kitchens. You're upgrading for appearance and think you're getting top quality but you're really not given a choice of appliances. Kitchenaid now has a recall on their cooktops and only one option exists that will fit. For us it's not an acceptable option and although money is offered to compensate there isn't anything that fits short of reconstructing the countertop and space below. Not enough time or money to cover that. We love IslandWalk and overall love our new home but the standard appliance packages may be the way to go. The entire DiVosta process was beyond my expectations. I have had several homes built and this experience has been stellar. Even after closing there is excellent service and follow through.

For the price we pay i would expect better materials, like not using wood window sills, better quality cabinetry, etc....

We love our Divosta home. Our lot is great. The construction aspect was great and our Project Manager was excellent. However, some of the items used to finish the inside we are not happy with. The tile work is awesome. Basic cabinets OK. Basic granite awful. Granite pitted and not smooth and when we questioned granite manufacturer they informed us that the granite came that way. Had I known that, I would have upgraded. The design center showed us a sample and the quality is not the same. Not a big lover of flat paint. Only other issue is mirrors. Both my mirrors have issues with the silver backing. Mirrors in horrible shape. Not sure what they're going to do about that. Pulte builds a solid home but they skimp on the finishing touches. ... Great company everything went exactly as they stated.

Home was ready on time. Field manager was knowledgeable and proactive. Whole process was easy and stress free.

Overall the experience with DiVosta was a good one. The house looks great and we are very happy with it. There was a relatively significant issue with the lanai that was due to a complete lack of communication by DiVosta. It was resolved but DiVosta would not take responsibility for their actions at first. Eventually we settled on splitting the cost of the remediation. Otherwise, a very good experience.

Air Conditioner stopped working after 3 weeks. Repaired under warranty

Great community,. but it seems the houses are going up so quickly, there are a number of quality control issues. We have had people in and out of our house every day since we moved in to fix stuff. That being said, they are very responsive and get things fixed quickly.

The attention to detail was great. We couldn't be happier with the way our home turned out.

I've had nothing but excellent things to say about our home. Great layout and the build quality.

We were Divosta’s best friend until the day we closed. Since then calling customer service I’m met with inflexibility by the employees. Electrical wiring was done incorrectly creating a fire hazard. That should have been caught during routine inspection. Underwater pool light was connected to HOUSE & POOL breaker box causing a short inside the walls. I called to report it & was told someone would be out following week. We have red ants in the house QA response was hmmm. Must report problems more than once to get action. Received conflicting info at various times. Total lack of flexibility on closing date. We were told $250 daily penalty but neighbors adjusted their closing date with no problem OR penalty. ... More

Our builder, Joe K, our Salesperson, Tim H and our Realtor, Karen U. from Exit King Realty made our home buying experience the best ever. Each had an important role in making this happen for us. Great experience! We're hoping that the daily living experience in resolving issues, that do come up from time to time, is as positive as the beginning has been.

The DiVosta experience was nothing short of professional and thorough from beginning to end.

We were basically happy with the whole building process. Regina was helpful in the buying process. Joe was quite pleasant and had a can do demeanor. We like the final product. The attention to detail and the steps a buyer takes before closing. Only thing at all we weren’t happy with was the choices available in the design center. Not commensurate with a $600,000 home. And I hate seeing the sign ou5 front from the low $200,000. Who would guess you’re building far more expensive homes.

My experience with the DiVosta team was very professional from the sales person to the field manager. We bought a quick move-in which was designed better than the choices I would have made. The field manager accommodated us to see the house during the construction. The house is very well made and the flow is perfect. Our house was evaluated by the field manager for any flaws several times prior to the closing. We were able to move into our house with no major issues noted.

Divosta homes nice but built too fast and by to many different people that they have to fix to much after the fact

- Seasonal residents, your Field Manager is very important during construction as he will send pictures or address any concerns you have leading up to the celebration event. Assigned Field Manager was fantastic! - Closing Celebration and paperwork...if you are not a homesteader or have had a previous home, plan on being out there two weeks for any repairs discovered at celebration event , banking, etc. You won't feel so rushed. - Keep the phone numbers for vendors recorded on your cell phone if you are not a permanent resident and need to arrange repairs. Turnaround time for any repair issues, etc. has been very good. Home is on a street with "new builds" underway, construction site is exceptionally clean - impressive! ... More

Overall positive. Sales staff excellent. Regina was great, she also assisted us with our first purchase. Once Walk thru was completed there was a lag dealing with the customer service group. Not as helpful with getting problems resolved.
