Such a difficult time to buy any home including a new construction. Just trying to secure a lot is stressful and difficult to do. So many variables that affect the building process make the next steps as stressful!. But in the end we love our home!

Experience was pretty good so far but after 60 days of possession we’re still not certain what warranty work I’ll be done and when. Because of this I can’t rate the overall experience

This is my second home with DiVosta and the whole buying experience was great again.

The quality of the building appears to be excellent. My experiences with the process was average.

Our building supervisor, Chas, worked very hard to get our house completed, but having supply issues and subs who were not always on time or show up at all was a problem. We understand this is a problem of the time, but we were under a time crunch making us impatient. Our house was suppose to be finished by aJuly-September deadline, but was not available until November 30. We still have issues to be addressed,but again this is a very slow process. I doubt if I would build again-no matter what builder was available.

The overall building process was very slow even understanding there were material delays. Our home went for extended periods of time where nothing was being done simply due to improper scheduling of trades. Upon inspection of our home we found shorty craftsmanship and carelessness from the subcontractors. Plumbing piping to the main drain was broken underground causing overflow downstairs 4 days after moving in, bowed doors were installed causing the closet to not open properly, towel racks fell off the walls from crappy mounting, faulty breakers had to be replaced to make the microwave work, and even the shelving in the hall closet wasn’t completed - just a mess and pieces left in the closet. This sort of carelessness would not be tolerated by smaller contractors but I guess DiVosta doesn’t care about quality from subs when churning out dozens of homes at once. And unfortunately thanks to all the delays we had no choice but to continue with closing. We were already delayed by two months and couldn’t continue renting in the area we were in. ... More

COVID played a key role in the builders ability to deliver on time

We have a list of things that need to be repaired/repainted/cleaned and we were told it would be 4-6 weeks to address. It’s been 2 months so far and only a handful of the issues have been taken care of.

Our project manager kept us informed during the building process. There were delays due to material supplies,

This builder employees build managers that are incompetent or just do not care enough. This builder rushes contractors work on the homes that make workmanship inferior. Only bright spot was our build manager Joe Kenny here in South Florida. Worst was first assigned build manager Carson Clemens.

Craftsmanship not as is would have expected

This was our first new home purchase in Florida and our first interaction with DiVosta. From the purchase, through the build and the final inspection, we were thrilled with the quality of service we received. We did have issues with their associated title company - PGP Title but, all was resolved in the end.

Overall we had a good experience. Happy for the most part with the finished product. For the experience to be great I would have liked for the construction manager to deliver on what he promised. Final walkthrough items were not addressed prior to closing and instead passed on to customer service process. This left a bit of a bad taste in our mouth. Thankfully the follow from customer service has been ok also not great. Delays in completion have been experienced due to holidays etc.

Love this floor plan and all the space.

My new home at Talon Preserve is wonderful. The experience with the staff has been great! The reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because we didn't close on time (only by a week) and after we moved in we noticed a few things weren't attended to....some paint drips, caulk on the tile, etc.. Overall, I would buy from DiVOSTA again.

Nice home and well built.

I am extremely pleased with the final product but communication throughout the building process was non existent. Also, the lack of communication continued during the completion of punch list item.

Quality builder. Very responsive to warranty issues.

Everyone was so knowledgeable and professional and helpful. We cannot thank you enough for our beautiful home. Keep up the good work!

I will never suggest this builder. Only wants money. Pushed to close with a rush walkthrough and many problem found after the fact. Still waiting for resolution to issues.

Well I build with this builder before and I was please. The second time ihave issued with microwave in kitchen I was not told I was getting a hotel microwave so I question it I was told we cannot do nothing.I had to go out and buy my own not good still waiting for cover for old microwave the manager inI charge did not even reach out to me .that not good customer service

Alex our Project Manager was on top of ongoing building discrepancies which gave us a feel of trust during our build. Andy, the gentleman who helps after the build, has been wonderful to deal with as well. He always responds to minor issues that have occurred during or soon after the build of our home. So we're grateful that we had Alex as our Project Manager and Andy as Divosta Warranty Manager. Also there is another gentleman I would like to acknowledge, his name is Ed and he also has been very helpful in making minor repairs to the home. Sales was great, contract was clear and no surprises
