The house is well built and people very nice bu ths has been the worst move in experience we have had. We were told we could have a virtual walk through. Day of sat waiting 2 hours then informed they did not have capability. Had to hurry and clean floors before movers got here. All other moves all do moments for appliances etc were laid out on a counter. We just finished finding documents. Waited yesterday for a confirmed scheduled repair. No show.

I love my home but there should have been care taken to make sure that the little details that can drive you crazy, are taken care of. Like, cleaning you paint spills (both inside and out). There were other issues too numerous to mention.

I love the community and how it is laid out. The landscaping is amazing, not over done. The clubhouse and amenities are first rate. I would recommend this community to my friends. I am happy I made the right decision to move here.

High Demand for Building New Homes - What Happens

With the current building frenze you have to watch and check on your houses progress almost daily In our opinion, some of the workmanship has gotten lower than our expectations. You have to clean up the property after the workers left everyday or those items will be buried in your yard. With DiVosta being a for profit corporation, items suffer because of costs related to profits. Combine this with the high demand for new homes we think that issues are more apparent.

My family and I recently bought a house through DiVosta. If I were to say it was the best experience I’ve ever had, it would be a lie. Building through DiVosta is an experience I never want to experience again. I was expecting things would be handled by the builder and my realtor, but this was not my experience. I had to check on the house almost everyday to make sure everything was going appropriately. Very poor communication on issues that came up during the build, and even when it came time for closing, the process was atrocious. I have never been so stressed. There were even ...

The "overall" experience was truly a great one until the week of closing, closing day, and the week afterward. Christy, the Sales Representative, was great from beginning and still is a shining example of great customer service. Took the time to get answers to all of our questions pre-construction and communicated really well and thoroughly. Any hiccups, she gets them smoothed out quickly. Jenn in Design was fantastic, communicated very promptly when responding to questions, even after hours, and provided great advice for the design options. And Kelvin... our original field manager... we ...

You have to be present during the building process. We found several mistakes that had to be corrected while the house was being build. Location of A/C vents, light pendants, electrical outlets. Windows in the wrong place during the block stage.

Good, solid hurricane proof house. There are very few standard options. You have to add a lot of upgraded options which are grossly overpriced. There is a mix of houses and townhomes in the community which has now changed to more townhomes than houses and less estate homes being built. Many homeowners are not happy about the builder changing the community plans. Ask the sales associates a lot of questions. They were very nice and helpful but didn't .disclose some important details about our lot. Overall, it's a very nice community

While I believe that the house is structurally sound the attention to detail and quality of workmanship is lacking significantly. The sloppiness in painting, caulking, installation of doors and windows, etc. is less than acceptable.

Had issues the first day with AC, coil replaced. back again 2 weeks later with a freon leak. These things happen and they responded with some prodding because it was a weekend. First time we use washing machine the sewer line is plugged. again these things happen but should have been addressed before closing with any kind of quality control.

We live in NJ, visited and bought a 'spec' home at IslandWalk in West Village in mid-March. We'll be snowbirds.Due to COVID and Divosta contract, we were forced to close remotely without actually being able to see our completed home. We're told it came out nicely, but we've not yet seen it except in pictures and video provided by our real estate person.. We're hoping to visit in mid-September-COVID permitting.

The tiles are uneven. None of the outlets in the bathrooms work. Concrete drips are all over the floor. Beautiful home. Great neighborhood. Terrible consultant, Brent in particular is a used car salesman. The new manager of his is a very nice lady. She’s helpful. Look out for hidden fees.

Poor communication Sloppy work

Poor communication with process of build, closing was several hours and keys were lost along with gate access passes. Work is sloppy. Inside baseboards are primed but not painted, bathroom shower knobs mismatched and shower not working. AC not working, paint is sloppy and not flat. Kitchen electrical is not working right. Very bad smell in house and your workers stated there is something dead and rotting in the walls. Ac not working. Worked with several project managers that were all not familiar with the work or the process.

Starting with our closing, they didn’t have the fob to get into the clubhouse or the gate. They also didn’t have the key to our mailbox. I have yet to hear back from anyone on the front door installation problem, defect in the sliding glass door, second bedroom switch doesn’t turn off the wall outlet, scratch in master bath toilet. Since then, I have found a screen in master bedroom ripped, grout throughout the house being wiped out too deep, air conditioning pad outside is being washed out from underneath due to grade, pavers sinking and pulling away, master bath faucet squeaking, no drain ...

The purchase experience is set up for ground up build, and is not pertinent for "Quick Close" customers. Avoid Pulte Title if at all possible. Poor communications, surprise last minute notary documents, Calls from people in various remote locations. Inconsiderate customer treatment. New homes come with no bedroom lights, cheap apartment style closet shelves and hangers, poor construction cleanup. Interior wall studs are flimsy steel on 20-24 inch centers....how can I hang heavy things on these? My home will be OK once I finish building it. Pulte's Sales and Construction folks try hard ...

There were several issues that were present prior to closing. The closing was delayed several times because all the issues were not addressed. Prior to actually closing there were still a few issues that I was guaranteed would me fixed. Here we are almost 3 months after closing and nothing. Once you close you are on your own. I have already talked a couple of people out of purchasing here, and I advised the realty company I used to be cautious when advising future clients to purchase here. I wish I could post pictures on this review. Very disappointing.

My first days in the house were not good at all. The washing machine flooded the bathroom and hallway 3 times (once on its own when I tried to use it and 2 other times as the plumber was trying to troubleshoot the issue. Additionally, my dishwasher did not work the first time I tried to run it. Had to schedule a repair call and tech came with wrong part so I am working on rebooking the technician.

Should have delayed closing but went foward eventhough many items were not completed. Post closing, problems with repairs. Either progress was very slow, other things were damaged when repairs were made or quality of materials was inadequate and not checked for quality. Many issues related to the doors and trim work. Paint work also very inconsistent. We expected better quality for the price paid. This is not our first home built.
