We are satisfied with the quality and workmanship put in the home.

The paint job inside is pathetic. My father was a builder and I worked for him. He would be immensely disappointed. The slightest marring or touching, the leaves a mark. They need better painters and more concerned with detail. We paid additional monies for a handicap roll in shower, this is FLOODING. We've advised them of such. It must be re done asap. Of course, due to this C o v i d all entry to home has ceased. The concrete garage entry has cement cracking on lip. The impact windows are scratched. The baseboards by shower were left non painted. Should have used tile or painted baseboard. There's a HUGE piece of missing drywall where kitchen cupboards were installed. We just started moving in when it was suggested that we need to be quarantined. Now we have a brand new home that is sparsely furnished, but we can’t show anyone anyway. Our builder foreman, Chuck, made sure everything was perfect before he gave us the keys. Great Guy! Great Home!

We are happy with our purchase

We were excited and eager to move into our new home at IslandWalk. However our disappointment started with a call from Pulte Mortgage indicating that that they needed a last minute form to close, with less than a week before our scheduled close. “We’re really busy right now,” was the explanation. Finally get keys to our dream home, and immediately notice the lack of attention to details: the final cleaning was terrible - dust and grout on tile floors, paint in carpet. Appliance handles were assembled without removing plastic - now we have scraps that we have to try to remove. CAT 6 outlets not labeled, garage door opener poorly wired. Divosta offers extremely well built homes and our experience throughout the build was very positive.

The construction of the home was completed as scheduled. There were, and still are some issues to be addressed. All items ordered were completed with the exception of epoxy coating on the garage floor. That oversite was rectified in time for our move in. The remaining open items are to be addressed by the warranty crew.

I was hoping to get the same quality I saw on the model home. It is difficult to see every detail on a short period of time. Once I moved I realized that all openings are cut in diagonal. Even the main door has a triangle on the wall. Sliding doors are not aligned, pocket door in the bathroom detached in the middle of the night within 17 days after moved. The quality control on the construction is terrible. I have never seen a construction like this. Appliances had to be leveled. The appliances cannot be any cheaper. For what we pay to buy one of these houses we should get much more.

Very happy with the final product A little more attention should be paid to just before closing to make sure the house is 100 percent at delivery

We have had no problems with responsiveness. We do have a list of things that need attention, when the lockdown ends.

Overall pleased with build. A few hiccups on the way, but most was corrected.

Love the house but disappointed in the workmanship of the floor tiles, walls and trim as they needed a great deal of cleaning and repair.

Construction Managers do a great job to walk you through the construction phases & hold high standards for completion of work. Service after the sale... not very good.

House was not ready to be moved into. It was not clean and many items that were suppose to be fixed were not. These issues were identified in the walk thru. We have built 4 houses and this one was the least ready. Follow up on issues has been good but some still remain unresolved. I understand given the times we are living in it will take additional time to resolve these issues.

Great Quality and good service has made us happy about our purchase.

Just have some minor issues with scratched windows and hollow tile thin set.

This is the best experience we’ve had with building a new home, the entire process was awesome from beginning to end.

Once the Building supervisor has completed his punch list and has turned it over to the warranty department good luck. Excuses then remedies

First, I love my new home with just a couple of reservations. I'm a foody and love to cook but it is impossible to use the broiler without setting off the fire alarm. Why? Because my home, the Cascadia model, doesn't have a kitchen exhaust fan. Even with opening all of the windows, it is impossible to cook a steak without setting off the fire alarm. Second, DiVosta claims to be an energy efficient builder. The amount of water I waste getting hot water to the kitchen and the master bedroom is obscene. The water heater is in the garage and the water "pipes" are not insulated and run through the concrete slab. I prefer to wash my hands with hot water which takes about 2 minutes to deliver to the kitchen. After you get the hot water, if you wait 10 or 15 seconds and want hot water again you need to start the whole process over again. Again, I love the home in general but feel these issues will probably have me selling my new home in the very near future. ... More
